As a last resort to defeat the BBEG whose power has now gotten out of hand, the party uses a one-time forbidden spell to travel back in time to kill the villain as a baby.

Of course, this leads to the resulting attempts to the party to justify to the court back in the past why they cleaved a toddler in half with a flaming greatsword.

AITA for speaking out of turn?

Three years ago, I (16M, 13 at the time) begged my father to let me into an important meeting. My father is the ruler of our nation, and this was a strategy meeting for the war we are involved in. A high-ranking general suggested using a division as bait for the other side, which would certainly lead to them all dying. I took offense to that idea, and challenged the general to a duel, which I should not have done. I was rash and arrogant and spoke out of turn.

When the duel happened, however, it was not against the general, but against my father. Because the general was under his command, I had challenged his authority as well as the general's, so it was his responsibility to fight on the general's behalf. I understand why he did it. I was arrogant in assuming I could beat the general, and I knew I couldn't beat my father.

I dishonorably refused to fight him, since I hadn't known it would be him I was fighting. He injured me severely, and banished me, because I had failed to act honorably in the duel. In order to be restored to my honor, I had to find and capture a very important person from the other side of the war. He had been missing for some years.

Now I'm fighting with that person and his allies, and they think my father is a jerk. I agree with them that his war is harming our nation. But they say he shouldn't have fought me in the duel. I understand completely why he did, and I feel guilty for even thinking he shouldn't have. But I'm starting to wonder, AITA?

So I was working on my AU featuring the guy ever; Descole. But like halfway through I realized it was kinda similar to @teenytinyapprentice 's ghost!Luke au, so I drew him too!

I'm a huge fan of that au (and all of Tyler's Layton art tbh) so why not!

I feel like if Spirit!Descole and Ghost!Luke ever met, it would probably be the most awkward thing ever.

Some antisemitisic incidents from last week:

UK - A Jewish teen was attacked outside a Jewish school in London. He was beaten and forced to call "free Palestine" and similars.

New Zealand - survey among the Jewish community (~10k ppl. 0.2% of the population) show about half reported antisemitic assaults towards children. Since previous complaints were ignored, less than 40% of the parents reported current incidents.

Children were locked in closets, attacked with broomsticks, and got a star of David drawn on their shirts.

"When I reported that my daughter was assaulted due to her religion, the school told me she should just stay away. Now my son experiencing antisemitism, and I can't find a reason to complain again."
