I've been reading a lot of humans are space orcs tags lately and it reminds me of a game my brother and I used to play
Over the years, in our wooded backyard, we made up hundreds of aliens and planets to explore and befriend, or fight, or conquer as seemed fit.
We never played as humans, but rather as the rulers of our alien races, which were allies under a treaty made when I was just barely old enough to understand what that word meant. There was an intergalactic space station that functioned as a meeting ground for hundreds of races and a place to sell various goods.
We made this expansive universe in our house and yard, every new thing we learned about science or space got worked in- "there used to be water on mars" "some planets have rings, or moons, and it changes the gravity!" Hell, we even worked carbon dating into a plot point.
Anyways I'm starting to think that with the popularity of the Humans Are Space Orcs stuff might mean this is a good time to bring The Space Game out of my childhood and into my writings.

A little more old art because it has come to my attention that there is apparently a Spore fandom on Tumblr. This is my take on Gar'skuther, one of my all-time favorite villains from one of my favorite childhood games.
(the signature is my Reddit name because it was posted there first)
