thinking abt amity somehow finding luz and hunter in this timeline... insane.

this book is unfortunately bad its like the author wanted to write a drama abt a childs parentage but has no idea how children talk and how people talk to childrens. ofc always giving authors a little leeway for how they write children bc sometimes they need to do things but this is so bad its like everyone talks to this 5yo like shes an older teen at LEAST with 0 effort to not use difficult words and ways of speaking. and the mc is so weirdly bad with kids for being a 1st grade teacher and being referred to as soooo good with kids by other characters??? and just. the way this kid speaks like an adult and then throws in just the rareee grammar mistake feels so lazy
