For the month of July, Lovely Film Club members were asked to vote for the film of the month from a list of five award-winning foreign language films. The featured films were: A Fantastic Woman (2017), I Lost My Body (2019), Flee (2021), Burning (2018), and Andhadhun (2018).  The six members voted and the results ended up in a tie between A Fantastic Woman (2017) and Flee (2021). The the finalist was determined by coin flip. This month the Sgt. Poro's Lovely Film Club Band is watching “A Fantastic Woman” (Spanish: Una Mujer Fantástica) - a 2017 drama film directed by Sebastián Lelio, written by Lelio and Gonzalo Maza, produced by Juan de Dios and Pablo Larraín and starring Daniela Vega and Francisco Reyes.
