I wrote this over a year ago based on some headcanons about ancient Chiss Force Disciplines, and then held off on posting it since it would be spoilers for my D&D party. But they've reached that part, so I get to share it now! Enjoy :)

Summary:

The Chiss are a traditional people, but their traditions are those which suit them, and the rest are not so much discarded as buried. Much of their history has thus been confined to the darkest corners of Family secrecy, and, over the many years, lost to neglect or disfavor. Much of Chiss mythology has gone with it, for those old stories were told to succor a people through dark times, dark times that a modern audience prefers to forget. But some few tales remain to be told by those dedicated historians who refuse to lose that last reminder of their history. This is one of them.

My double agent chiss from SWtOR Elod'al'teris [Dalter] From my personal feelings on playthrough, the Imperial Agent story arc in SWToR is canonically tailored to a default human entirely loyal to the Sith Empire, but I had fun playing this story as Chiss. His original armor in the game has more details, but I changed its design because I wanted to bring it closer to the minimalistic style of SW.

Having an old man OC means there is SO MUCH going on in their life man. U just got an entire family tree and decades of biography to discuss!!

Atrem's family is a whole ordeal and this isn't even going into his upbringing and his fucking parents which is a fascinating case study on its own. I just wanted to release his husband and child into the wild for now because they deserve to be free :'D

His daughter, Tarai, works for Serenno's (and by extension the Seperatist) secret service. She also has a thing or two to say about how CIS operations are run since she sometimes feels as though their missions are being flunked from upstairs.

His first husband, Narix, was a rather famous podracer who (at least officially) died in a crash around 55 BBY. The official cause of death may or may not be related to Atrem trying to scalp price some garments he made for Hutt associates which led to them sabotaging Narix's vehicle. Atrem is more or less haunted by this. That being said they were both cheating on each other so make of that what you will
