Chapter 14 Prologue Part 3:

We start with narration about theater city and behind the theater is a slum called "Whitechapel", lined with countless brothels. Narration begins talking about “Jack the Ripper”. It is said that he always cut off "parts of his body" and left them at the crime scene. But in the real world such a thing doesn’t exist. This horrifying "theater-type crime" has made the inhabitants of Theater City go crazy. Even if the crime existed in this city it will just be seen as entertainment. Yurakucho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, a place connected to 23 different worlds is Tokyo’s theater city. We cut to a police officer on a undercover investigation in. He found some evidence and was trying to call headquarters but the calls can’t connect and he got attack by the Driver Mobs. They played unsettling music that takes over a person’s mind.

We cut to MC in theater city waiting for Bigfoot. Flashback to when Bigfoot met the summoners. Bigfoot is here a messenger for the Entertainer. They want MC to come to their base alone. Bigfoot assures that MC will be safe and he left as quickly as he arrived. Shiro thinks this is a trap. But MC wants to go to gather info. Back to the present, Bigfoot welcome MC to Yurakucho. Bigfoot takes MC to the Pool resort where they meet Barong. He introduce himself to MC and tells MC that they are a VIP guest and have fun.

We cut to the police officers, where Oguchi complains about the smell of the area interrupting the search. Hogen tells him that one of their investigator have gone missing and they can’t find any traces of him. We see Tadikarao yelling at Horus and Nobumichi. Oguchi noticed that their uniform looks different. Hogen tells him that they are the Special Judicial Police Officers. They cooperate with prosecutors and investigate organized crimes. There has been rumors that the body parts killing have started up again. The culprit and victim are still unknown. The Entertainers have been suspicious, with rumors of human trafficking. Plus the Ripper killings and the missing investigator. And now parts of a policeman body have been found. They found the investigator’s arm and if they can find the main body they can reattach it. But only if the man is safe and alive. They need more information.

Later that night, we see MC bumping into Barguest, who is working at the resort. Barguest tells MC it’s been awhile. Flashback to how Barguest met MC back in CH5. Back to the present, Barguest thanks MC for helping him that time. The base he and Kenta (and the Wanderers) were hiding in has become a object so they move from place to place. Barguest said he’ll help MC any way he can while they’re here. Bigfoot shows up to ask how MC is doing. MC ask Bigfoot what the hell he’s up to. Bigfoot says there no plotting they just want MC to be happy (yeah right we heard that one before -_-). Bigfoot grabbed MC’s hand and placed it on his chest to tell MC that he’s the Shaman of the Great Spirit. He tells MC that he loves MC and wants to please them (Nope don’t trust like that).

We cut to Bertro talking to AI Issac. Bertro said he never thought the day will come that they will talk again. Isaac says long time no see and ask how’s Duo is. Isaac say it should be time for Bertro to contract the same disease that killed his original. Small talking aside, Bertro said they are here to discuss the Rule Makers and their rule violation for letting the Entertainers into the game. Curren enters the conversation as well to tell them that she’s still working. Curren thanks them for this meeting and says this will be the last time the three geniuses will talk to each other. Isaac said it’s been a long time since the three of them talked together. Issac asked Curren why the Entertainers are entering the game. Curren just thought she would be here to say goodbye to her siblings, thank them for their hard work and that their role is over. Curren explains that her Plan C involves cooperating with other, thus explaining the alliance between the Rule Makers and Entertainers. The Dues ex machina, the one person who can solve everything, doesn’t exist in this world. The stage is set, it’s time for humanity to graduate from their childhood. What coming next is a script like no other. A script only for a true genius. And communication cuts and then silence.
