I love how aggressively tumblr addresses The Chocolate Guy despite actually liking him. Tumblr loves tearing apart celebrities that are awful people and we make it known, but chocolate guy? We love that dude. He's genuinely a great and talented guy. We talk about him like he's some sort of mad man criminal but I think that's just how we're used to addressing people

the thing that gets me about chocolate guy is the amount of effort he puts into it. he’ll make an entire sheet of cake just to cut two circles out of it. just watched a video where he spent the time to cook and reduce beets in order to make something red, when he could have easily used food coloring. NOTHING but respect 😤

my fave thing abt amaury guichon/chocolate guy is how pleased he always looks with the whole process. like he looks very happy with himself to be making weird shit with chocolate and honestly good for him. when he eats his desserts at the end of a video with a 😊 face im always glad he seems to be having fun. it wouldn't be as interesting to me if he was stoic the entire time.

One thing I find hilarious is that whenever the Chocolate Guy shows up on anyone's feed it's never "Oh cool it's this guy" or like sincere amazement.
It's always like "Oh this guy again?! What the hell is he doing this ti- WHAT?!" and the video shows like, a chocolate giraffe or something. The man's whole appeal is confused rage on behalf of the watcher and I love it.
