I work inside I coffee shop. I see a lot of orders and a lot of the common stereotypes people have for coffee orders are less likely to be true than you might think. Let’s try and figure out what each Link would order then, shall we?

—————

Time:

- Started off by just getting plain black coffee.

- He felt like that was expected of him because he got into coffee when he was already a bit older.

- At some point, he got a sip of Malon’s drink and LOVED IT.

- Now he loves the seasonal flavors.

- Pumpkin Spice? Sign him up.

- His baristas love him because he stepped in when some dude got uppity.

- (Sometimes they will undercharge him, but do not tell their boss.)

Twilight:

- Not a big Espresso dude.

- Used to get Hot Chocolates

- Had to stop because he turned into a wolf and, quite frankly, he was worried he would be allergic so he just ordered something else.

- Learned that Steamers were a thing and started getting those.

- It’s literally flavored warm milk. He can’t go wrong with it.

- He still gets a cup of whip cream every time, though.

- His baristas will see him in the parking lot, grab a small cup, and just write his name on it. Everyone who works there knows it’s for whip cream.

Wind:

- Really wants black coffee. Frankly, he would love having it.

- None of his adults let him have that, though.

- They kept telling him to pick something else.

- He started getting frappuccinos so he could still get caffeine.

- Carmel Ribbon Crunch or a Mocha Cookie Crumble became his go to choices.

- Eventually, he starts taking himself and just gets a small black coffee.

- His baristas joke around with him a lot, especially after he starts taking himself.

- They recognize him and will start making a freshly brewed container just for him.

Wild:

- He started with the Pumpkin Spice Latte before discovering other things.

- He has tried the entire menu.

- His favorite is probably, weirdly, cinnamon dolce or plain vanilla.

- Even still, he likes to spice it up when he does swing through.

- At least, until he got sick and his Zelda made him try the Honey Citrus Mint Tea, also called the Medicine Ball.

- That stuff WORKED.

- Now he gets that regularly, while grabbing a dragon drink or several shots of espresso in a cup for his Zelda.

- His baristas more often talk with Zelda than they do with him.

- (Bro spent so long examining the menu trying to figure out what he wanted that Zelda had to hold conversation to keep it from being awkward.)

- Newer baristas tend to get confused when he gets tea and she gets plain espresso, handing out the orders backwards.

- They’ll learn.

Warriors:

- Red eye, Black eye, and Green eye were his choice drinks for a while.

- Plain black coffee with one, two, or three shots of espresso respectively.

- At some point he learned that blonde espresso has more caffeine and started getting that.

- He was always in there at weird times in the night and his baristas (and friends, if we are being real) started getting worried.

- Straight up got cut off. Too much caffeine at midnight every night.

- Started getting teas and refreshers.

- Really likes the pineapple one.

- His baristas worry about him.

- He always came in at odd times ordering so much caffeine.

- He seems a lot calmer now than he did before, and they will take whatever victories they can get.

Sky:

- You know that “don’t talk to me until I have had my coffee” thing?

- That’s him.

- He just wants a regular hot latte.

- In fact, that’s all he says.

- “Medium hot latte.”

- He puts his payment on the table and goes and sits down.

- Once he has had a few sips, he can hold a conversation, but until then?

- Nah.

- Not happening.

- At some point, his baristas recognize him and just key everything in before he gets to the till.

- The grunt he lets out in thanks made one barista keel over in the walk in freezer laughing.

Legend:

- Whether or not he has a person with him will drastically change his coffee order.

- If he is alone, he will get a peppermint hot chocolate.

- No whipped cream.

- Extra chocolate and chocolate curls.

- Coconut milk.

- As Hylia intended.

- If he is with someone else, he gets a plain black coffee.

- Somehow, he thinks it’ll make him appear more masculine.

- (He hates it. Desperately wants the sweet drink he gets every other time.)

- His baristas recognized this pattern and started either sneaking him sugar packets or just making his peppermint hot chocolate and saying it was the black coffee.

- He almost cried.

- Almost.

Hyrule:

- This dude either loves plain espresso or loathes it, depending on the day.

- He likes the Vanilla Bean Frappuccino, which has no caffeine or coffee taste at all, on his hating espresso days.

- On other days, he just gets 5 shots of espresso over ice with vanilla cold foam on top.

- Other than that, he doesn’t change up his order at all.

- One time he drank the whole iced espresso in one gulp.

- His baristas were shocked by that.

- Not… judging… but definitely impressed.

- And a little bit confused.

- Wasn’t he sat in the corner, literally kicking his feet over what is basically a milk shake YESTERDAY?

- ???

- Okay, maybe more confused than they are letting on.

Four:

- He orders a lot of things, but not nearly as much as Wild did.

- If he has a different color shouting in his head about something, their usual order may take precedence over whatever else he wanted.

- On his own, he likes to get either a plain latte or a caramel apple spice.

- Literally warmed up apple juice and caramel syrup.

- It’s sweet. It’s warm. He likes it.

- There’s not much else to say about Four when he is not dealing with inner turmoil, so let’s get to how the baristas see him, yeah?

- They love him.

- He is so respectful all the time, asking about their lives, telling jokes, swapping stories.

- An absolute sweetheart.

- One barista almost jumped over the counter because someone made a short joke. (That’s how Four learned how protective the baristas were of him.)

- (They also undercharge him, again, do not snitch on them. They have their favorites.)

BONUS!

Red:

- Pink drink.

- He wants extra berries in it.

- He might add a cold foam to it, vanilla and mocha being his two preferred flavors of foam.

- He talked so excitedly about his favorite drink that one barista decided to try it.

- Unfortunately, it was the one who does not like sweet things.

- They coughed it out.

Violet:

- Earl Grey tea.

- That’s it.

- That’s the tweet.

- He just wants a hot black tea.

- He’ll settle for English breakfast if he needs to, but he likes Earl Grey the best.

- His baristas sigh in relief with his order. Half the time he shows up, it’s at the end of a rush, and his order is easy enough to complete.

- He’s very calm about everything, and that attitude seems to rub off on the other people in line.

Green:

- Chai tea latte.

- Hot or cold doesn’t matter too much to him.

- Sometimes he will add flavors to it, but his base remains with that chai tea.

- He also always seems to come in after a rush.

- He’s not too picky about it, which takes some of the stress off the baristas when they make the order.

- He loves to swap stories with the baristas while he is there.

Blue:

- Water.

- He just wants water.

- Cold, filtered water.

- Look, the water tastes good, okay?

- He’s gonna get the largest size water.

- He calls it the “big boy” for some reason.

- Actually, maybe he’ll get a second.

- The water tastes nice, after all.

- His baristas laugh a lot.

- Honestly, he is just there to joke around and relieve a bit of stress.

- It’s a great way to wind down the day, drinking water and telling jokes.

Shadow:

- Shadow doesn’t really order anything directly.

- He’s there, listening in, but he doesn’t talk.

- That’d probably scare somebody.

- So instead, he’ll add his order on to somebody else’s.

- His baristas were confused, initially, hearing a voice that was so close to the person in front of theirs yet wasn’t.

- One of the baristas caught on, however. Setting a cup of whipped cream down beside the drink.

- They watched out of the corner of their eye as it disappeared into the shadow of the man that had just ordered.

- From then on, they consistently did so. Never prying or even really mentioning it. They just set the cup of whipped cream down and moved on to another drink.

Fierce:

- It would be too easy to say a black coffee, so instead…

- Carmel macchiato.

- Iced.

- Extra caramel drizzle.

- Sometimes he will ask for a topping, but most of the time, that’s enough.

- His baristas were intimidated, to say the least.

- Bro is tall.

- He just likes sweeter drinks, and frankly, he likes listening to people talk.

- He loves listening to the baristas spill tea.

- If you listen really closely, sometimes you can here him whisper out a “that b****” while he hears a barista talk about their ex.

Hahaha oh my God, VS this is amazing! First of all, Twilight and Violet's orders have me DELIGHTED!!!

I know only a few of the boys' sections say they stand up for the baristas, but they all would tbh.

Time

I think he's glad to have found something other than black coffee.

I think he would love seasonal flavors! Would probably like the chocolate cherry flavor, a shop I like does for hotcboclates in febuary

ALSO, I think he'd like mint tea when he's not feeling great.

He KNOWS they undercharge him sometimes BUT he tips very very well

He learns the names of all the batistas and will step in if someone is harassing any of them.

Twilight

He absolutely loved hotchocolate, maybe even with cinnamon on it!

He would love steamers, though, and he is always thrilled to get that cup of whipped cream.

I think he'd also probably like to order some sort of ham and cheese croissant

He likes to hangout in a window seat when he stays for a while.

Wind

Oh boy does he want coffee

He would definitely like frappacinos

I think he'd like a drink called Unicorn Blood. Dutch brothers sells it as part of their "Rebel" drinks. It's kind of like a blended energy drink with added flavor and sugars

Once he comes by himself he'd probably switch between unicorn blood and black coffee

He loves joking with the batistas of course.

He'll bring Tetra and they'll just laugh

Wild

You're absolutely right he definitely tried all the menu

He might have Bribed one or two baristas to make something new

He spreads the word about the coffee shop to everyone who will listen

He thinks it's funny when people mix up his and Zelda's drink

Warriors

His baristas frequently try to slip him extra food when he orders it

He also probably makes friends with a college student or two, since they'll at be there at 3 am

Will often do a coffee run for Zelda and Impa

He has a favorite Barista, but is of course fond of them all

New baristas are a little startled when he comes in at unholy hours and is perfectly coherent despite his designer eye bags

Sky

Yeah, he's sweet and all but he seems like he could give me a run for my money on being grumpy before caffeine

He appreciates that the batistas accommodate his lack of talking and is always sure to wish them a good day before he leaves after he drinks his coffee

If he comes in mid day I think he'd probably like a Carmel blonde or something

Legend

This man is definitely thrilled his baristas are helping him save face and enjoy his drink

He definitely talks the place up to others

He will start problems if another patron is harassing any of them. (Especially the younger ones)

I feel like he has also let one of the younger baristas cry on him after a nasty customer. Cause like, customer service is hard and he's not going to push that kid away

I think maybe a few of the baristas start a (playful) better pool on if he'll want espresso that day. It's probably things like a candy bar or a shift change

Was surprised to find the baristas are protective but he's flattered

Don't worry he'd protect them too. (HAS pushed past a rude customer a little harder than needed with a 'whoops!')

I can see him liking that stuff!

He is probably why the baristas remember to drink water at work

I love the idea that ONE barista is like "Sure the sentient shadow wants a cup of whipcream"

He's polite but again, not really talking

Will encourage the others to talk the place up

Slips a tip into the jar

Carmel machiatto-

Yes

Once the baristas warm up to him he adores listening to them talk

He uses his intimidating appearance to keep creeps and rude customers in line

Will in fact go "no they didn't!" Quietly when he listesn to gossip

Bonus bonus:

Malon

Just put her espresso INTO her hotchoclate. No, not a mocha she doesn't want to taste the coffee thanks

Will alternatively order peppermint lattes with utter glee

LOVES whipped cream amd asks for chocolate drizzle

First

He likes his coffee strong, but sweet.

No cream, though

Just an unholy amount of sugar

It looks like black coffee but it IS NOT

Will stare ypu in the eye as he puts in like 12-15 sugar packets depending on the day

Tips well!

He's not as close to the haristas as some of the others, but he's friendly and will always offer a (clumsy) compliment

Tetra

She seems like she'd like lavender tea maybe?

For caffeine she just wants a Carmel Frappuccino though, with chocolate drizzle and lots of whipped cream

She's cheerful and always ready to listen to the varistas vent about an ex

Tips pretty well and come in with wind a lot

2nd Day of Christmas

A Sweet Mishap

Summary/Prompt - Spilling hot chocolate/coffee/a hot beverage on the other and insisting on paying for a new drink and new clothes for them.

Pairing - Jensen Ackles x Reader

The Christmas pay is great, but dealing with the influx of customers – everyone in a rush to get their Christmas shopping and preparations finished – sucks. You’re well into the morning rush having made to your best estimate near a hundred coffees in just a few hours. You’re already exhausted and sick of people; many of whom have short tempers due to needing their daily caffeine hit ASAP. Somewhere around the 30th coffee you burnt your hand on the steamer and it has been in pain since, but you need the money so you ignore it and push on. Not that you’d have time to dwell on the pain even if you wanted to; the orders just keep piling up.

Peppermint Mocha Latte with extra whipped cream and crushed candy canes.

Gingerbread Latte with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.

Chestnut Praline Frappuccino with caramel drizzle.

White Chocolate Peppermint Hot Chocolate with marshmallows.

Winter Wonderland White Hot Chocolate with white chocolate syrup.

Almond Joy Latte with coconut and almond flavours.

And so on and so on into oblivion. Maybe it’s your fault for choosing to work in a cafe that prides itself on its range of festive flavours. But despite the exhaustion, you serve every drink with a smile and never-dwindling love for the holidays.

Your steady pace and rhythm are jolted by your coworker getting into your personal space. “Come on Y/N! It’s time to switch, I can’t keep weaving through these crowds with hot drinks and dishes! I need space! Please!”

You add the finishing touches to the drink you’re currently working on and then nod at her. “Fine. I’ll deliver this one and go from there. Just start from the next hot chocolate there.”

She nods enthusiastically, pulls out a mug and gets started. You take the fancy hot chocolate out to table 5 as per the order card. You and your coworker, fall into perfect harmony quickly. She makes drinks and you deliver them seamlessly until a tall, well-built guy comes bursting through the doors straight in front of your well-worn causing you to dump an entire Peppermint Mocha Latte on him. The mug and saucer shatter on the tiles by his feet as your hands immediately cover your mouth to hide your embarrassment. But the shock quickly wears off as you jump into action, gathering napkins to wipe the mess while you apologise profusely. You don’t even look up at his face as you continue to attempt to clean out the stain.

“I am so so sorry! Whatever you want is on the house, I’ll cover it all. New shirt and jacket even. It’s all on me. I am so sorry, sir,” you ramble as you continue dabbing at the mess.

Noticing everyone’s eyes on the two of you and customers starting to get restless, he wraps his hands around your wrists to make you stop and look at him properly. “It’s no problem, really. It’s all good. I wanted a reason to buy a new shirt anyway.”

“Please, at least let me get you a coffee to go then.”

“To go?” He questions.

“Yeah, so you can go change.”

“But you did such a good job cleaning me up.” A blush sneaks onto your cheeks at his words. You hear your coworker calling you from behind the counter. “Sounds like you need to get back. Just surprise me with something when you get your break. But make sure you’re the one that makes and delivers it,” he says with a wink as he releases his grip on your wrists.

You quickly compose yourself as you rush over to grab a broom and mop to clean up the mess as your coworker attempts to manage the impatient customers.

After about half an hour the morning rush finally starts to die down and your other coworkers arrive for handover. You finish adding some whipped cream, chocolate powder and marshmallows on top of the white and milk chocolate peppermint mocha lattes you made and then untie your dirty apron. Thanking your coworkers you take the two festive mugs to the table in the corner where the now dry man is waiting patiently reading a newspaper. You place them down carefully on the table causing him to look up at you.

“I was starting to think you forgot,” he says.

“You kidding me? I still feel so bad, but it gets so busy here during the holidays.”

He takes a sip of the hot chocolate closest to him and then says, “I can see why. I’m used to straight black coffee, but I can get on board with this.”

As you go to take a sip from the other mug you get distracted by a bright flash from outside the window causing you to spill your drink all over yourself. Looking in the direction of the flash, the man jumps into action. He passes you some napkins and stands up.

“That’s my fault. Should’a known word would get out if I stayed here this long. That’s my fault,” he says apologetically.

“You nab at your now stained shirt and say, “I guess now we’re even.”

He slides a coaster across the table to you. “I’m so sorry.”

He shrugs his jacket on and walks away. After a second you go to call out and stop him but the door’s already closing behind him. You look down at the coaster and see a phone number written in neat handwriting. You slip it into your pocket and smile.

Modern AU Scroogeverse: Starbucks orders

@rom-e-o and I joked around about it a little this morning, so I thought it might be fun to do.

Disclaimer: I, personally, am not a coffee drinker at all. I hate everything about coffee--the smell, the taste, the noise the coffee maker makes as it brews. And I never have dealings with Starbucks because I think they're a little overhyped and expensive.

Note: Americanized Bess has absolutely influenced these people's taste on things like iced and cold beverages. As she should. Cold drinks are lifeblood.

Ebenezer: First off, nobody makes coffee like his beloved Bess (she does it the old-fashioned way on the stove and adds just the right amount of heavy cream and cinnamon) so that's usually where Eb gets his coffee (she'll pour it in a thermos and send it out the door with him). But on the occasions Bess' coffee is unavailable for various reasons, Starbucks is an easy stop on the way to work. His drink of choice: the dark roast, tall, cinnamon powder, heavy cream, and two pumps of cinnamon syrup (if it's the holidays, he'll add a pump of the peppermint) to make up for the lack of Bess' TLC. It's good, but still not as good as Bess'; every sip of her coffee is like her love in liquid form and you bloody hell can't beat that. If he's had several late nights at the office, Ebenezer will also add a few shots of the signature espresso. If he has to attend a morning business meeting he's been dreading, the man has also been known to fill a flask with a little "feel-good" juice and spike his drink just enough to get through the meeting. He doesn't get anything else from Starbucks. He might try something Bess gets, but, as stated before, Starbucks is merely a handy substitute: He's not about to take time to explore their menu. Note: They never get his name right. Ebenezer is now simply known as 'Ed' at the local Starbucks.

Bess: For warm weather: a grande iced dark chocolate mocha with heavy cream and light ice. The number of espresso shots depends on how busy work has been. For cold weather: a tall caffè mocha, with warm heavy cream, light foam, and six mocha pumps. Again the number of espresso shots depends on work. If she's in the mood for something particularly sweet, Bess will usually go for one of their chocolate chocolatey frappucinos. She doesn't have a particular favorite--she likes them all--but always gets them in grande. Note: You think they'd be able to get Bess, easy enough, but no; she's been called "Bed", "Bless", "Beth", "Bet", "Bast", and "Bath". These people aren't even trying, are they?

Bob: Doesn't go to Starbucks--it's not on his way to work and it's too expensive (he's got lots of kids to take care of, even if now being partners with Mr. Scrooge makes life so much easier and comfy). He stops in at a local mom-and-pop place called 'The Grinds' and gets a large, cowboy coffee with a little milk and sugar. (He's also sweet-talked the barista into adding some espresso shots. The man has like a dozen kids, okay?! He needs it to get through the day!)

Ethel: Unlike Bob, will occasionally patronize Starbucks--mostly when she is out with the other girls. Because this is only an occasional thing, Ethel likes to treat herself (she deserves it!): a venti strawberry crème frappuccino with vanilla sweet cream, extra whipped cream, five syrup pumps, two espresso shots, toasted vanilla syrup, cookie crumble topping, mocha sauce, and extra strawberry puree. Leave her alone--she's affording herself a rare treat--it's fine. Note: Don't always get her name right either, but they get it right more often than with Bess.

Harry: Does not have a favorite. Man gets something different every time he goes and has liked everything equally. He does have a particular fondness for their frozen fruit beverages though, but only in summer. When the weather gets cold, he'll go for their hot apple drinks. The only customization he insists upon is extra cinnamon or peppermint during the holiday season. After all, he loves Christmas--it's his favorite time of year! He always gets the largest option. Note: Yes, his name always gets spelled right, usually accompanied by little Harry Potter flourishes. He finds them so charming and tries to keep them all. Hela eventually throws them out when he's clearly forgotten about them--usually after a week.

Hela: Usually goes for their teas. It's a toss-up between a short honey citrus mint with light lemonade and an extra pump of honey or a short, regular matcha tea latte. Note: Only gets her name spelled right if she's served by a fan of Marvel.

Tom: He is a very simple man. In the cold, he beelines for their hot chocolate: grande, steamed whole milk, doubled mocha pumps with extra whipped cream, and extra caramel drizzle with caramel sauce lining the cup. In the heat, it's a regular mango dragonfruit lemonade with extra ice. Note: Once got named "Dom" at Starbucks. The barista winked at him as she passed him his drink. Addie was with him and did not appreciate it; she absolutely took a cue from her cousin and groped his ass on the way out. The ride home was very long after that, but the events that played out at home were a blast.

Addie: In the cold, she loves the white hot chocolate. She'll usually get a tall with oat milk, extra foam brown sugar syrup with a mocha cause lining, and chocolate mint cookie sprinkles with light whipped cream. In the heat, her go-to is a grande iced brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso with salted caramel foam, mocha drizzle, whipped cream, and caramel crunch topping. Note: Often gets called "Abbie", but one time, somehow, she got called "Baddie". She rode that high for a week.

Ernie: Isn't really a coffee man, so he mostly sticks to the teas. He goes for the classic Earl Grey with a little lemonade, honey, and a pinch of cinnamon. If he's looking for something cooler, he just goes for the lemonade. Nothing very complicated. Note: Absolutely gets "Bert" added in with his name like 80% of the time. The joke is getting old now, folks.

Ella: Honestly, she doesn't do Starbucks. She had one drink once--a huge chocolate java mint frap, loaded up with all the best goodies. It was so good. But the stomach flu was going through the Cratchit household at the time and she got hit with it right after she had that heavenly delight and... yeah. Ruined the entire chain for her. Just the mention of Starbucks makes her stomach roll. Ernie doesn't drink Starbucks around her and does his best to shield the very logo from her view.

Granny: Simple and surprising--a doppio of espresso macchiato. regular except for eight shots of espresso instead of the standard two. She's in her 80s and surrounded by young folks, okay? How else do you expect her to keep up with them all?

Josie: Doesn't do Starbucks either. She thinks it's overrated and too trendy, and will go out of her way to find small, independent establishments to patronize. She enjoys hazelnut lattes with a little touch of cinnamon and mocha sauce. Will always ask the barista to make the most unique design they can with the cream and asks if she can watch.

Mickey: Just like his love, he doesn't do Starbucks. For one he could never afford it; for two, he tried some once and he didn't find it all that great. Certainly wasn't worth the hype everyone seemed to have about it. He chooses to support the independent coffee houses as well, often taking Josie out on dates to them. He likes the cowboy coffee with only a little milk; he enjoys the rusticness and simplicity of it. Josie isn't a fan of the flavor but she loves the smell of it on Mickey's breath afterward and she doesn't mind the taste coming off his tongue and lips when he kisses her either.

Jules: He can't drink coffee as it makes him sick, but he enjoys the iced teas. His favorite is a blended grande black tea lemonade with some apple juice and strawberries. And definitely extra ice. Always extra ice. In the winter, he gets a regular caramel apple spice. Note: Often gets his name spelled as "Jewels". Once he had an older barista that was a big fan of Jules Verne though, and he got that written on his cup--that was fun.

Martha: The chocolate java mint frap, tall, with coconut milk, double-blended with frap chips, hazelnut syrup, two extra pumps of the mint sauce, mocha sauce lining, toasted cookie crumble, light cinnamon powder, and whipped cream--that's this girl's game. Kathy: Girl is a fiend for the espresso shots! That's what happens when you're studying to be an L&D nurse, I suppose. She gets a quad of the blonde roast loads it up on six shots and hammers it. But after she's had a couple of those, she'll get a short, dark chocolate mocha with heavy cream and honey to sip on. Note: Has been called "Catty" more than once. She does not appreciate it.

Millie: VENTI. PUMPKIN. SPICE. LATTES. With extra cream and cinnamon and caramel sauce lining. She lives for this stuff and literally has an emotional breakdown whenever it goes out of season. After that, she falls back on the vanilla bean crème frap, venti size, with almond milk, extra whipped cream, frap chips, macadamia syrup, caramel lining, white chocolate mint sauce, honey blend, cinnamon, mocha drizzle, and caramel crunch topping. And, ya know what? It's still nowhere near as good as the pumpkin spice. Why don't they just sell it all year?! It would be their number-one seller! They could just start a whole other Starbucks offshoot just for the pumpkin spice and rake in the money! Note: Absolutely tells the barista how to spell her name and double-checks to make sure they got it right.

Gil: Decaf roast, tall, black--plain, simple, easy. He likes the bitterness; reminds him of the earth and nature. If he's craving a little sweetness, he might add some honey. Note: Usually gets called "Dill". Does not complain--he gets his coffee either way. And he kinda like the name "Dill" actually.

Tim: He's not allowed to drink coffee, as he gets way too hyper. But he does like their frozen fruit drinks. The pineapple passion fruit is his favorite; he always gets extra pineapple in it. He gets the largest size and sticks it in the freezer whenever he's had enough to snack on for a few days. The stuff tastes even better when it's frozen enough to eat like ice cream! Note: Tim is so cute, most of the time the baristas don't even hear him say his name because they're so focused on his cherubic smile or sparkling blue eyes, so they just write "Angel boy" on the cup. Tim just blushes and beams.

Beryl: She doesn't like coffee, but she is also a serious businesswoman, and serious businesswomen drink coffee. Beryl gets the espresso con panna in the smallest size with extra whipped cream and three espresso shots. The whipped cream is the only way she can stand the taste of the stuff. Sometimes she needs a little mocha drizzle to get it down too, even while she's holding her nose and trying to swallow it down without letting it touch her tongue. Ebenezer has pointed out to her time and again that it's okay if she doesn't like coffee--she can drink something else if she wants to--but Beryl refuses. "Businesswomen drink coffee! It's a staple!" And no one is going to convince her otherwise. Note: Never gets her name spelled right, so she has taken to telling them at her name is "Bear". That always gets spelled right and she gets comments on how "cool her name is". Beryl might be considering changing her name to "Bear".

Milagro: a venti iced White Chocolate Mocha, with a spinach, feta, egg white wrap. She feels classy with them and no one can take it from her.

Irey: a venti Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino, with a baked apple croissant. It’s one of the few things she likes from Starbucks, plus high calories for that over active metabolism.

Mar’i: a trenta Frozen Mango Dragon Fruit Lemonade Refresher, plus a dozen cake pops. She will give her friends each a cake pop but the rest are hers. And she doesn’t drink a lot of coffee

Damian: a tall Honey Citrus Mint Tea. He’s allergic to almonds and this feels like the safest bet for him.

Jai: a trenta Iced Caramel Macchiato, extra caramel. Same as his sister, but he doesn’t like the crunch and it’s a little less sweet.

Jon: a grande iced Caffè Latte with almond milk, but will also order Pumpkin Spice Lattes and Peppermint Mochas when they’re in season. His regular drinks have to be labeled so he doesn’t kill Damian.

Colin: a tall Pink Drink Refresher. Coffee can occasionally trigger a flare up, so he tries to limit it. Plus he likes how the Pink Drink tastes

So I drink coffee so sweet I'm not sure it even qualifies as coffee anymore. Like if I'm making coffee at home...there is so much sugar and lowkey probably chocolate syrup in it because I can not with the bitterness. I drink almost exclusively frappuccinos.

If I'm in a tight spot I'll settle for a peppermint mocha, if I absolutely need something warm

I went bungee jumping in Ecuador because, and I quote my thought process: "this is only 20 dollars, that's so much cheaper than anywhere else, I should totally do it"

I taught myself to swim because I was a little independent(tm) brat and didn't want my mum or dad to teach me. That's also why I never got the "Seahorse-badge" (but I love swimming)

I love peppermint chocolate, peppermint frappuccino, peppermint chocolate thingy with espresso shot, peppermint chocolate ice cream and peppermint with whatever chocolate/coffee thing a shop can come up with. I hope I did make my love clear, im clearly team after-eight (but not nestlé, I only buy the off brand shit)

Nicknames- Lady of Winter, Princess of Ice by the people of Olympius

Age- 18 (immortal)

Location- The Underworld

Personality- To most people, Chione seems detached, icy, cold, calculating, and vague. There's so much more to her. She's intelligent and methodical. She has feelings of uncertainty at times and she's known to cry a lot when she experiences loneliness. She’s single.

She has the standard abilities of a goddess- except shapeshifting. Being the goddess of snow, ice, & winter, her abilities include summoning blizzards and other snow related calamities, flight (due to her frost white sparkly wings), cryokinesis, limited aerokinesis (as it pertains to cold winds, & creating many weapons/offensive attacks out of ice & snow.

She's a cousin to Zephyrus (god of the west wind), Boreas (god of the north wind), Notus (god of the south wind), & Eurus (god of the east wind). Her mother is Pagoniá (goddess of ice). Their relationship has always been distant, but they do geniunely care for one another. Chione doesn't mind her aunt Eváeros (goddess of air & the zodiacs) or her ambrosia salad.

Because of the "eternal summer" in Olympius, she prefers the domain of the Underworld, where it's always cold.

Chione lives in an extravagant chateau. The inside is painted in shades of white, silver, gray, blue, and gold. There's an intricate chandelier made of ice in her living room. The entire place is carpeted and also includes fur pillows and blankets.

Her go-to drink is a white cranberry cosmopolitan. She also likes martinis, sparkling water, & peppermint tea. A usual for her from The Roasted Bean is a large peppermint white chocolate frappuccino with extra whipped cream!

Chione is a co-chair (along with her mom) of the Thracian Ice Festival!

Her favorite treat is a frozen vanilla custard topped with shredded coconut.

Chione is often mistaken for a nephelai (cloud nymph) due to her albinism.

Her favorite meal is chicken fettuccine alfredo. She also likes a shaved kohlrabi salad with basil & parmesan.

In her free time, Chione enjoys figure skating, going to the opera, writing, carving ice sculptures, reading, ballet, doing yoga, watching movies (is a fan of mysteries, drama, romance, & suspense), and jewelry making.

Her favorite nail polish color to wear is Olmorfia's "No Place Like Chrome", a metallic silver color. She also likes "Frosted Snow", a glittery white color.

In the pantheon, she's had high-profile relationships with Apollo, Hermes, and Poseidon. She tried introducing herself to Arke (goddess of the faded rainbow); twin sister to Iris, but was ignored. Chione's good friends with Aeolus (god of wind), Hymenaeus (Naeus) (god of weddings), Nephele (goddess of clouds), Hygieia (goddess of hygiene & cleanliness), and Aether (god of the upper atmosphere, celestial bodies, & heavenly light). Chione's BFF is Despoina (goddess of the arcadian mysteries, frost, winter, & shadows). She can't stand Artemis (goddess of the hunt).

Chione has a successful business. She earns money through her jewelry brand (Ice Stones)- specializing in diamond and platinum jewelry. It has been gaining popularity with a store in the Underworld and an official website. A new store is going to open in the Skyline neighborhood of New Olympus. She makes extra income by endorsements & modeling, particularly for Pheme's Diamond Ave. brand. With her other personal endeavors, Chione is currently drawing up two business proposals to present to Hades- a hotel for out-of-realm tourists that's made entirely out of Stygian Ice and an ice themed amusement park. She feels that these potential businesses will bring in extra income and more tourists!
