Ex #1 – Choi Yeonjun [he is seen smirking at the camera]

Ex #2 – Choi Soobin [he smiles shyly at the camera in front of him]

Ex #3 – Choi Beomgyu [sits nonchalantly while "shooting" the camera]

And asked each about their experience dating her.

— So we met at?

Yeonjun: A dance studio near the area we both worked in.

Soobin: The bakery my aunt owns that I sometimes work at on the weekends.

Beomgyu: A pet store near my house.

— My type is?

Yeonjun: [he contemplates his answer before saying] Well me of course...just kidding she likes fun guys, the confident ones.

Soobin: The sentimental type maybe or the party guys.

Beomgyu: A guy who can hold their own but still love her.

— He was attracted to my?

Yeonjun: Her dancing of course. The energy along with it was always so captivating.

Soobin: Her smile was really pretty.

Beomgyu: Her energy, she was always smiling or laughing and I really liked that.

— And I was attracted to his?

Yeonjun: She always told me she loved the way I could "light up" a room just by walking in so I think the energy I gave and how I present myself.

Y/N: The way he presents himself to a room full of people he's never met will always leave an impact on me.

Soobin: My height and if she tells you otherwise it's a lie!

Y/N: His...caring nature? [she laughs as the producer calls her out for her blatant lie] okay okay! His height was crazy!

Beomgyu: My handsome face! [he gestures to his face and raises an eyebrow]

Y/N: His stupid jokes, as cocky as he seems the guy is funny as hell.

— Who made the first move?

Yeonjun: I did definitely.

Soobin: Surprisingly it was me, she would never.

Beomgyu: It was me she was too "nervous".

— Who made the first move? (cont.)

Yeonjun: It was during a performance we did together, all the emotions were super high so at the very end of the dance, I pulled her in and kissed her. Yeah best time of my life, the crowd went wild.

Soobin: She came in super late to the shop and asked for whatever croissants we had left but we didn't have any so I offered to make her some if she went out with me the next day

Beomgyu: We had been hanging out and I was bored so I just asked and surprisingly she agreed.

— His first impression of me?

Yeonjun: I thought she was going to be this cold partner that I wouldn't get along with, but obviously I was very wrong.

Soobin: She was a bit quiet but really sweet, then you get to know her and it's the complete opposite!

Beomgyu: I swear I thought she was crazy. I walked into the pet shop for some bird food and there she was fighting the clerk because he called her dog overweight. She is crazy but man I was scared.

— Our first date was?

Yeonjun: It happened right after that performance when I kissed her. We went out together and had burgers, then stayed up well past morning just messing around and talking at a playground near the venue.

Soobin: I took her to play mini golf. It didn't go too well since it has mini in the name and well...look at me. She laughed the entire time and instead of me helping her, she helped me.

Beomgyu: We went to an arcade and I beat her in every single game, then she pouted for the rest of the day till I promised to let her win next time we went back.

Y/N: no comment...

— Our first kiss was?

Yeonjun: Well you see...our first kiss kind of started it all.

Soobin: In her car after our, second or third date.

Beomgyu: Ha she was way too scared to kiss me so I did it when I walked her home after we hung out.

— We bonded most over?

Yeonjun: Our love for dancing and performing.

Soobin: We both had an affinity for baking?

Beomgyu: In the beginning our pets and then gradually just everything.

— I introduced him to?

Yeonjun: She introduced me to this entirely different view in life, it was just so uplifting.

Soobin: A new way of cooking, I dreaded it but turns out it can be fun if you do it right.

Beomgyu: A lot of new music came from her, my playlist if filled with it all still too.

— He introduced me to?

Yeonjun: A new outlook on dancing.

Soobin: So many places to eat and drink.

Beomgyu: To not worry what others think whatsoever.

— Did we say, "I love you?"

Yeonjun: [he leans forward and cups his hands around his mouth] We did but I said it first not her and if she lies then it's because she's a liar and hates me.

Soobin: She said she loved me after she met my family for the first time, and of course I said it back immediately.

Beomgyu: Yes, it was a phrase we often told to one another.

— In the morning I would?

Yeonjun: She wouldn't let me get out of bed to cook or shower or even pee. I mean not complaining too much but damn woman I had to pee.

Soobin: She would give me kiss then get up to cook.

Beomgyu: We didn't get up till like 11 if we were together we liked to just be with each other.

— In the morning he would?

Yeonjun: I always woke up first but never got up first since she would cling to me.

Soobin: Um hit snooze? Stay asleep.

Beomgyu: I would wake her up.

— He would call me?

Yeonjun: I didn't have one designated name for her but to get her mad I'd call her sugarplum or something really cheesy.

Soobin: Arm rest. [a smile finds its way on his faces as he's asked to elaborate] There isn't much to say she was my arm rest.

Beomgyu: Fiesty or crazy.

— I would call him?

Yeonjun: She was so mean she called me stupid head all the time.

Soobin: She always called me really nice things or something super mean like giant.

Beomgyu: She called me stupid head a lot and big baby.

— The best thing he did for me?

Yeonjun: I helped her open up a lot more I think.

Soobin: I always made sure she knew how special she was.

Beomgyu: No matter what I always spoken highly of her.

— And the best thing I did for him?

Yeonjun: She helped me with communicating. I get very upset very fast but she always made me feel better.

Soobin: She lessened a lot of my insecurities and that really boosted my confidence.

Beomgyu: Take care of me in a way no one before had ever done.

Yeonjun: Dancing.

Soobin: Making people feel comfortable/comforted.

Beomgyu: Getting her way? In a good way not bad I swear.

Y/N: Dancing definitely but also teaching others.

Yeonjun: Singing because she loved to dance but singing...wasn't her forte.

Soobin: Packing for trips. She overpacked a lot.

Beomgyu: Not fighting with the pet store guy.

Y/N: Being on time or toning down when appropriate.

— I loved to travel to?

Yeonjun: Any place with good food and people.

Soobin: Oh she liked going to sunny places.

Beomgyu: Where didn't she like to go.

Y/N: Places with good food or a nice sun.

— He knows I'm really proud of my?

Yeonjun: How far she's come with dance.

Soobin: She always took pride in how quickly she learned to be on her own.

Beomgyu: Just her life in general, she is doing what she wants and not many people get to do that.

Y/N: As much as I am proud of my dancing, I am so proud of how quickly I was able to go out and do things on my own.

Yeonjun: When people criticize her but have absolutely no background knowledge on what she's doing and why.

Soobin: People who project or are just bullies.

Beomgyu: Not being able to be independent.

Y/N: Not having freedom to do things I know I should be able to do.

Soobin: Dancing, I probably haven't mentioned it but she can dance really well.

Beomgyu: Her brain is huge and she uses it well.

Y/N: I know how to make people feel comfortable and I can cook really well.

Yeonjun: What kind of...man I don't know. Clothes? She had a lot of clothes.

Soobin: Shoes maybe, also like jewelry.

Beomgyu: One of those big extra dog houses for her dog.

Y/N: I want to buy my dog his own house.

Yeonjun: Being herself and taking no crap from others.

Soobin: Making people comfortable.

Beomgyu: Tossing small candies in the air and catching them in her mouth.

Y/N: I can make people laugh I think.

Yeonjun: People adding their opinions in situations that don't involve them.

Soobin: When she feels like she's being restricted from doing things she loves.

Yeonjun: Definitely me…but only because I need to make sure my fit is good you know?

Soobin: Of course her! We never made our dates on time but honestly she was so pretty it didn’t matter.

Soobin: Eight months.

Yeonjun: Our paths were moving in different directions and we began to not really know one another in a sense.

Y/N: Our lives were moving in different directions and we started to argue a lot, so we decided to split.

Soobin: I think we realized that our relationship was more like friends than a couple.

Y/N: He’s like my best friend, and that was all we started seeing one another as.

Beomgyu: Our communication was really bad, and we had a hard time being honest with one another.

Y/N: We weren’t completely honest with our feelings and thoughts towards one another. It caused a lot of problems for us.

— My worst habit was?

Yeonjun: She didn’t believe in herself enough.

Soobin: She had a really busy schedule and prioritized work.

Beomgyu: Workaholic.

Y/N: Impostor syndrome was BIG.

— His worst habit was?

Yeonjun: Didn’t spend enough time with her.

Soobin: I wasn’t the easiest to communicate with.

Beomgyu: Prioritized my bird over her dog.

Soobin: I didn’t and still don’t hate anything about her, honestly.

Beomgyu: She was bad at communication and so was I so it was hard to get things out.

Soobin: How serious I was all the time.

Beomgyu: I couldn’t take anything seriously, we’d fight and I’d laugh it off.

Yeonjun: Definitely, always will be.

Soobin: I think at the beginning yes we definitely were.

Beomgyu: Yeah no doubt.

Y/N: Yeah I loved them all, I think Soobin was more of a friendly or brotherly love but Beomgyu and Yeonjun were love love.

— We always fought about?

Yeonjun: Never seeing one another.

Soobin: Being with each other too much.

Beomgyu: How we never communicated with one another.

— I got over the break-up after?

Yeonjun: I wish I could tell you.

Soobin: After we both realized we wanted to same ending.

Beomgyu: What kind of question is that? I don’t know.

Soobin: It wasn’t too long, I think I’d accepted it long before it was over.

Yeonjun: Not the best, but we’re better now. We grew apart and it will take time to get back to a great place but right now it’s good.

Y/N: We hadn’t been a real couple in a long time so when it ended it was hard, it hurt both of us a lot but I think we’re getting better.

Soobin: It ended super well I think?

Y/N: It took a bit of space but we’re happier now.

Beomgyu: We argued so much, and that hurt our relationship a lot. I wouldn’t say it ended well.

Y/N: It sucked so bad at first, like I really loved him so much so the end not ending well hurt a lot.

[ending music switches on and the background behind y/n changes colors for one last time]

— Would we date again?

Yeonjun: I think if our schedules and paths aligned with one another, then yes we could.

Soobin: No! But I adore her always.

Beomgyu: Ummm well like assuming we’ve grown and gotten better at communicating with one another then yeah maybe? I don’t know? Yes?

Y/N: I don’t know, I guess only time can tell.

— Are we still on good terms?

Yeonjun: I think so? Could be better.

Soobin: Oh definitely. We have movie nights together.

Beomgyu: Could be better, but our animals have play dates so there’s that.

Y/N: Yes! I love them all, and like yeah some terms could be better but we’re working on it!

— We stayed friends because?

Yeonjun: I don’t think I could live a normal life without her.

Soobin: She’s like my best friend, of course we’d stay friends!

Beomgyu: I think I’d die if she wasn’t in my life, not to be dramatic or anything.

— He would say he misses my?

Yeonjun: Personality, she made me super happy and we had a great time together.

Soobin: I see her too much I have no answer for this!

Beomgyu: I miss her dog, but like I mean like living with him not just co-parenting him.

Yeonjun: One time we danced in the rain because she said it was on her bucket list of things and I wanted to do that for her.

Y/N: He helped me check off a lot of things I wanted to do in my lifetime and I appreciate that so much.

Soobin: When we made a giant, I’m talking four foot tall, gingerbread house for a contest and still lost but it was fun to do it.

Y/N: We have so many good ones don’t ask me to pick please!

Beomgyu: Walking in the park at night when it was peak golden hour and she looked so damn beautiful.

Y/N: Weekly walks around the park near his apartment.

— The best thing to come out of our relationship was?

Yeonjun: I think I gained a lot of knowledge from her and our relationship in general.

Soobin: Our friendship.

Beomgyu: I grew as a person definitely.

— He would tell my future boyfriends?

Yeonjun: Oh don’t even get me started, good luck is number one. Have fun.

Soobin: You’re very lucky, she’s amazing.

Beomgyu: [he adjusts in his chair and looks the camera dead in the eyes] I hate you. She’s mine. [he flashes a smile after]

[screen flashes back to y/n and all three exes sitting in our shot together]

Interviewer: Would you do this again?

Y/N: Possibly? I think it’s been fun to see their answers especially because they’re all such different people, special in their own ways definitely.

once you all had decided to drive over towards a water park that opened up about two hours away from the city, and boy, was he excited. “IM DRIVING. FUCK OFF NO, IM DRIVING.” slaps people's wrist if they reach over to change the music. doesn't let anyone but his bestie (aka taehyun) change the music. his car takes all da bois 🫦🤟🔥 is also the reason da bois are lost.

- people tend to romanticize being a cafe worker and while you love your job, the people can be… so here are our 3 fave cowboys comforting you after your hardest shift yet

- said some dumb joke when you walked through the door which happened to be right when you let out the biggest breath and got choked up

- he immediately became alarmed when he realized you were crying and started apologizing thinking his joke was too mean which made you cry

- seeing him so freaked out made you laugh a bit which just made him confused, looking like a puppy staring at you with his head tilted

- you tried your best to compose yourself so you could explain the shit day you had to yeonjun and after you did he gave you a kiss on the forehead/ cheek

- since you hadn’t moved from the entrance he pulled you into the living room, sitting you on the couch and started singing

- txt was just about to announce a comeback and ofc yeonjun told you abt it as soon as prepping started so here he is performing it for the first time to you to hopefully help you feel better

- eventually he gave up all seriousness and started to do choreographys very sloppy to help brighten up your mood

- since idol’s were normally left alone in s.k, soobin always tried his best to visit you at work whenever he could and all of your coworkers new he was your boyfriend

- today, he went to visit you but noticed you were more quite than usual so he asked you what was wrong so you told him everything

- no one else was at the cafe thankfully to see you on the verge of tears, telling him about the awful costumer that just yelled and yelled at you

- he knew all he could do at the moment was just listen but as soon as he left your place of work, he was on a mission

- later that day, you texted him you were on your way home and that was when he prepped

- when you arrived home you dropped your bags and took off your shoes and went straight to your room, but when you plopped on your bed you realized they were warm

- sinking farther into your bed you hear “ahem” from behind you, turning to see your boyfriend holding a little gift basket

- as he handed it to you, you can see all the items inside, pain killers (for the headache you might have from crying and the situation in general), water (for dehydration), your favorite sweets, and a candle

- you smelled the candle to find that it smells like soobin?? you, confused, looked up at him and he explained since he can’t always be with you to comfort you he figured he can make you candle that smells like him to do so when he can’t physically

- he took everything and placed them elsewhere so he could lay next to you and comfort you as finally let out all the pent up emotions

୨⎯ BEOMGYU ⎯୧

- beomgyu can definitely tell when somethings working with you, no matter how happy and unbothered you pretend to be he just knows you too well

- of course he won’t bother you about it if you don’t want to talk about it but he does act nicer and more “boyfriendy”

- he didn’t know when you’d tell him about it until he walked into your room, you curled in a ball crying your little eyes out

- he called out your name which made you sit up, he quickly got over and sat on your bed with you

- pushing your, now matted, hair out of your face he made eye contact with you, in return making you cry some more

- he stayed quiet until you were ready to talk to him and when you were, he listened but afterwards he got up and left…

- he came back into the room hiding something behind his back, revealing a teddy bear which he hands to you

- he presses a specific spot and it starts talking but you recognize the voice and look up at the boy that had hope in his eyes

- the bear had his voice inside but it was him singing your favorite song, one you always wanted him to cover cause you know his voice would be perfect

- he presses a kiss to your head and smiles but immediately after starts dancing around singing a more chaotic version of the song to which you get up and start dancing too, trying to follow all his steps

note: wrote this in one sitting 😵‍💫

entering the restaurant, checkered tiles and bright red seats light up the scenery upon first encounters. coming in for a good burger and fries, this sure seemed like the right place.

taking many pictures and selfies (with your matching bandanas) is a must— by the jukebox, with the intricate and thought out decorations all around the place.

“gyu, we have to go order now” you said as he took the nth picture of the day, even though you asked him to.

“im sorry, i just need to find the most instagram-worthy angle right now” he said as he took a picture from another angle of your pouting face.

beomgyu also knew he was hungry so he decided to stop taking pictures for a moment and order. “do you want anything to drink?” he turns around and makes eye contact with you as you’re getting a table to sit at.

“no i’m good for now, i’ll get a milkshake before we leave.” you said as you made your way to the booth you were eyeing once you guys were inside.

he came back with a tray of food and just one drink for himself. “do you like the last picture that i took?” beomgyu asked as you scrolled through the many pictures that he took.

to be honest, your favorite were the selfies of you guys goofing around and being silly showing off your matching clothes. would it be weird if you made it your lock screen?

“yeah it looks really good gyu, it might be the one i’ll post.” then there came the infamous goofy smile from your best friend. he felt so proud that only he could take the best pictures of you. and to think that you would always call him if you needed help with picking a photo. he never hesitated to choose the right one but would always end up saying that you look good in all of them.

suddenly, your throat felt dry just by the way he was looking at you. “hey, can i take a sip of that? my-“ beomgyu didn’t falter to hand it over to you before you even finished.

“thanks” you said as you took off the lid and drank through there instead of through the straw. once you weren’t as flustered you put down the drink and just when you were about to put the lid back on, beomgyu grabbed the cup. he looked right at you as he twisted the cup and put his lips right where yours were and pretended to also be dying of thirst. his eyes never left yours as he did so, showing that he was not affected if you used the straw or not. or did he mean something else by it? could it have been meaningless?

one thing beomgyu loves to do is tease you, and it became a habit of his to do so. maybe this was just another one of his ways to annoy you. except it was the exact opposite, he could see the pink tint coming up to your cheeks.

“are you okay?” beomgyu feigned concern. truth is, he wanted to let you know that he has the ability to kiss you and doesn’t think of you as just a friend. it took all of his courage just to be that bold.

“yeah” you simply said and as you guys got ready to go, before you left you ordered your milkshake and set off to watch the sunset, sitting in the trunk and sipping on your milkshake.

it’s best to say that you guys also shared that milkshake and something else perhaps. this was just the beginning of a great relationship with your best friend, beomgyu.

'JUNNIE!!' oh how he loved that nickname. it was one of your normal shopping dates around the local mall. in his words, its the highlight of his week.

as both of you walked down the busy roads of the night markets near the mall, looking for something to nibble on.

'jun!! look at the takoya-' GUUSUSHHHHSHSHS ( amazing sound effects am i right ) '-ki.' soaked, you both instantly ran to who knows where; and yeonjun still managed to insist for you to take his hand, and dance your hearts away,, in the pouring, cold rain.

it was mesmerizing. no hesitation in that. you couldnt help but stare at it. but yeonjun would say, 'its like yn, alluring and graceful.' honestly, he cant go a day without thinking about you.

and there you are, looking like the next la la land actors, twirling and spinning around as if theres more tommorow x together.

his hand wrapped around your waist and you softly said;

'there are more butterflies in my stomach for you than the drops of rain in the sky.'

'getting romantic, are we?'

rain cant even compare to how much i love you.

soobin

you and soobin were just in bed in cozy pjs & binge watching with your head on his shoulder; until your window curtain slightly blew from the weather outside. you slowly got up to try and close the curtain securely. as you approached the window..

the rain got slightly louder.

and louder,

and louder.

till you turned back to soobin, still watching tv, you proposed an idea. 'soob, would you be up for a small dance outside?'

as you stepped outside, in the chilly rain;

'will you take this dance, m'lady?'

and honestly, at that moment you couldnt ask for more.

he placed his hand on your waist and one to your hand, while you placed one hand on his shoulder and one in his hand. and there, you waltzed to your hearts content.

you plopped down on a nearby bench and spoke,

'isnt it beautiful, bin?' there was a pause, only to savour the beauty in the rain, staring in admiration. 'yes, yes it is yn.'

but, its not as beautiful as you.

'gyu, why would we buy all this at the gas station when we can just buy it at an actual grocery store.' 'its more cheap!! and priva-' suddenly, the automatic door opened to reveal a gushing rain, as muffled steps swished the water at the enterance of the gas station.

'yn..' 'yeah?' 'do you know what im thinking?' 'suddenly im telepatic.'

you guys immediately dropped your baskets at the door and rushed outside. the puddles splashed all over your pants, and probably got you sick, but its not like you guys minded. all that mattered was eachother. your presence was just enough for him.

your pinkies intertwined and your face flushed a little, but its not like gyu could see it. all the rain drops glided across your face not being able to see the intricate details. his hair was pretty wet, but stunning wet. ( ifykwim ) beads of rain streamed down your face and hair and honestly, he couldnt help but stare for a while till you looked back at him.

'yes, gyu?' 'i love you. more than our love for rain combined.' he blurted. you chuckled a bit, and answered 'i love you too, gyu.'

maybe the rain poured a little quieter when he said it. who knows?

even in the worst rains, your still a sunshine in my eyes. my sunshine.

you probably fell and when he reached out to help you he just brang his hand back before you could grab it. (then you restricted cuddles for a week)

YEONJUN, SON OF SLEEPING BEAUTY

rosy pink lips and a piercing gaze, choi yeonjun was the definition of the rose his mother was destined to represent. from his harsh grip on your waist to the soft, peppery kisses he'd leave on your neck when you'd sneak into his room after night curfew, choi yeonjun was casting a spell upon you. your heavy eyelids threatening to shut as he had his legs thrown over you while he spooned you, whispering “how pretty you are” and how lucky he is to have you. sharp yet maintained nails combing your scalp as he ran his fingers through your hair, the sensation sending pulses down to your toes.

choi yeonjun would fall asleep in a class, only to be woken up by a smack on his wrist and the threat of "DETENTION!". he'd have his fun with the gawking looks of everyone as he'd walk by, a pink mist of flowery drowsiness settling through the halls, making everyone's stomachs feeling like they'd just digested thorns.

but with you, oh, he was on his knees. puffy red lips and eyes bright n’ shiny when you'd kiss him, his lips leaving different shades of roses on your skin, like he was a rose himself— the color of his petals bleeding into the cracks of your skin. he'd find himself hiding between the alleyways behind the son of cinderella's shoe shop, your fingers tracing the wrinkles his smile would make near his eyes as he gazed at you like you were a happily ever after he was promised.

and he knew that even if his destiny didn't allow it, he'd prick his finger a thousand times only to be awoken by the drowning feeling of your lips on his own.

SOOBIN, SON OF SNOW WHITE

when choi soobin's mirror answered your name instead of his after he questioned, “who's the fairest of them all?” things got a bit messy. who even were you, making your way to ruin his happily ever after? rolling his eyes and shutting his locker, he'd come face to face with you, wearing a charming, a prince charming, smile and tilting your head at him. now, children of the prince (or now, king) charming weren't exactly his type, but god, who on earth gave you the right to charm him with that pearly, enchantingly cursed smile? even if you technically belonged in his destiny, you weren't supposed to rob off his title of being the fairest of them all, anyway.

but as he stared from across the classroom, he started to understand why tones of red and blue were such an eye-catching match. from the way you'd glow in the silvery moonlight with your blue, he'd watch from his window, gold in his candlelight, as you'd practice lifting the weight of a sword passed through generations of your family. he'd mumble to his pet animals, telling them how embarrassing it was for a son of snow white to fall for the princess charming before he could even choke on that fucking apple, before his roommate would tell him to shut up!

and when he finally buried his ego into the glass coffin he was destined to lie in, poisoned and cursed for eternity, he faced you—heart throbbing in his chest and silky black hair flowing in the wind as he took your hands. it was unsettling, how he went against his destiny at that moment just to find you and give you an untraditionally abrupt kiss on the lips, even if no one was poisoned.

but, his true love's kiss promised, it sure woke him from a slumber he didn't know he was already in, reality seeping into his eyes like a curse finally being lifted. and his chest heaved, breathless, staring at you like you were the apple of his eye—the true fairest of them all.

BEOMGYU, SON OF THE BEAUTY & THE BEAST

choi beomgyu was like streaks of gold sunlight peering onto a flowing river. with his sharp teeth and hair destined to flow perfectly in the wind, he would sprinkle his charm into any situation to win whatever he wanted. being the son of the beauty and the beast, he got the best of both worlds, athletically charming and annoyingly witty. and if you do say for yourself, unfairly attractive.

it was not irregular for choi beomgyu to intrude wherever and whenever he wanted to—a charming wink to a group of girls and they'd be squealing over him, or guys lifting him into the air when he'd score the winning goal for the bookball game, he had it all. and beomgyu wasn't really much to you, either.

except, when he'd sit with you in the enchanted forest, book in hand and pencil between his teeth, confused glances and nervous smiles as you tried to teach him the course for home evilnomics to impress a crush he had on a rebel. choi beomgyu didn't faze you— his smile cast no spell upon your senses; his beauty was meant to just be savoured by the eyes. his voice like honey didn't sooth your soul like it did to everyone else, and beomgyu was starting to realize that the more time he spent with you, the more he was drawn closer to you.

the genuinity in your smile set his cheeks rosy pink, the way your fingers would graze over his ever so slightly to show him how to cast a spell, the way you bit your lips and stared at him sheepishly when you didn't know the answer to a question he asked— you were finding ways to make him experience aspects of romance he's never witnessed first hand. and he'd find himself looking for you on the bleachers after scoring the winning goal for yet another bookball game. and he wouldn't shoot a wink to a group of girls who'd coo his name until he'd see you nearby. and he'd startle you from behind when you'd look for books in your locker, leaning nearby to shut the space between you two and watch your focussed eyes, a rosy tint in his line of vision.

you had the school's pride and joy wrapped around your finger, following you around like he were underneath a trance, head on your shoulder or arm around you as you roamed around town together. and you knew the rhythm of his heartbeat would change when you'd get especially close to him, finger on his chin as you'd smirk up at him. and you'd see the way his eyes would dart around your face, his light brown locks cast in front his eyes, glittering gold as his fingers would sneak up your blouse to feel the skin on your waist grow warmer at his touch.
