Vampire Verity Feeding from Aislinn for the 1st Time

Aislinn Tanaka x vampire OC (Verity Wright)

Aislinn's hands trembled as she rushed to grab her purse. All she wanted to do was get back to Verity. After staring down the barrel of a gun and into the cold eyes of a killer, she just wanted to feel safe, and ironically it was a vampire that was the only one who made her feel safe.

She paused when she saw Verity's office light was off but relaxed when she saw them standing in front of their window. Dropping her things in a chair she walked up to Verity and wrapped her arms around the vampire. It felt as if she was hugging a boulder, Verity was so tense. Then she noticed they were glaring out the window, their eyes glowing blood red.

"Verity?"

"It's taking all my willpower to keep from tracking that-that man down right now. But if I do, he won't be in one piece when I'm done with him." Verity growled.

"It's okay, we'll figure something out, we may have lost Aliana's phone-"

"I don't give a damn about that phone Ash! Or about this god forsaken case anymore! I just..." Verity very carefully laid their forehead against the glass window in frustration. Aislinn comes around in between Verity and the window and is quickly pinned up against it. The look in Verity's eyes isn't anger anymore but desperate hopeless fear.

"Seeing that gun man standing over you...I've never felt so out of control. I've never felt such rage before" Verity's face twisted into something more inhuman at the memory but quickly softened at Aislinn's gentle touch. "I can't lose you. It would tear me apart, Aislinn." Verity says burying their face into Aislinn's chest right over her heart.

"Oh Verity. I'm okay. I'm safe. You kept me safe."

"Always." Verity's reply is muffled in Aislinn's chest but firm. Aislinn drags Verity's face up to lock their lips together and the kiss quickly turns hungry.

Aislinn pulls back just enough to frantically say, "I want to be with you, please, I need you Verity." Dragging a tortured moan from the vampire.

"I'm sorry, I need to feed, I don't trust myself right now."

"Then feed from me." Aislinn says, taking her white sash off, exposing her throat.

"Aislinn...you don't have to-"

"I want you to, Verity. I want to give you everything you need. Whatever you want, is yours." A thrill runs up her spine at Verity's whimper but a gasp escapes her own lips when Verity suddenly rips her suit jacket down her arms, tears her white shirt into shreds and hoists her up in their arms.

Verity's hair tickles Aislinn's neck and she throws her head back when they trail kisses up and down the column of her throat.

"I won't hurt you...I'll never hurt you, Aislinn." Verity softly says.

"I know baby, I know." Aislinn says her jaw dropping in a silent gasp, her eyes rolling back slightly as Verity sinks their fangs into her neck. Euphoria races through Aislinn's body as Verity groans at her taste and Aislinn knew she was in for a long but beautiful night.

I did a cursory research and learned that there is a significant Black Italian community of immigrants from Cameroon, so that's my headcanon for him and his family. I chose the Fulani surname Diallo because it starts with a Di like Di Vincenzo.

Marco Diệp

This face option is described in the asset files as "Asian". The most significant Asian Italian community is Chinese Italians, but I didn't find a Chinese surname starting with the sound Di that sounded right to me. So I went with the Vietnamese Diệp.

HOT SHOT

Casey Jamil

These face options are described in the asset files as "Middle Eastern". The Arabic surname Jamil was a spelling match for Jameson, and this spelling appears to be common in Syria and Iraq. So if they had this surname they could be Syrian or Iraqi.

IMMORTAL DESIRES

Cassius Han / Cassandra Han

These face options are described in the asset files as "Asian". The Japanese surname Harada is a spelling match for Harlow but I already used Harada for the LI of Guarded. Also, I keep seeing people comparing the masc face to this one Kpop singer, I forget who, so it gave me the headcanon that these faces are Korean. The Korean surname Han seemed like a pretty solid match for Harlow, and it's also a Chinese surname too so they could be Chinese with this surname. Also I know fem Cas's full name is canonically Cassie but like many others on this internet website I am a Cassandra Harlow truther because I think it sounds better.

These face options are described in the asset files as "Latinx". Couldn't find any Spanish or Portuguese language surnames that start with "Ad" so I went with a Spanish surname that starts with "A" and retains the "A-al-ar" sounds from Adalhard.

This face option is described in the asset files as "Asian". Almost went with the Korean surname Rhee but I already chose it for TPS LI and also I think the Korean surname Ryu looks cooler on a law firm plaque. lol

These face options are described in the asset files as "Arabic". Mansour was a close Arabic-language sound match to Monroe. This spelling seems to be common across all of North Africa and the Middle East. So I guess they could be from any of those places with that surname.

MY TWO FIRST LOVES

Noah Higuchi

This face option is descrbed in the asset files as "Asian". Another LI with a surname starting with "Har" which can correspond with the Japanese surname Harada but I already used that and also "Noah Harada" has too many open "A" sounds in a row for my liking. So I just chose a cool sounding Japanese name starting with the letter H because this face option looks Japanese to me.

This face option is described in the asset files as "Hispanic". Lozano was the closest Spanish-language surname I could find to Lawrence. The Spanish form of the first name Lawrence is Lorenzo, but it doesn't appear to be used as a surname like Lawrence is in English-speaking countries.

Mason Jiménez

This face option is described in the asset files as "Hispanic". Couldn't find Spanish-language surnames that start with the same sound as Jennings. If my memory is correct I don't think Spanish has that sound? Jiménez has a lot of the same letters though so? That should work?

These face options are described in the asset files as "Hispanic". I considered the Spanish surname de la Torre because it retained the D-L-T-O sounds from Dalton but I thought Delgado sounded cooler……?

I considered the surnames Giri (broadly Indian, common in Nepal I think?) and Ghauri (common in Pakistan as far as I can tell?) for sound matches for Gray but Gill (Punjabi) sounded cooler. Also there was nothing necessarily wrong with the names Callum and Samara other than I don't like them. So I assigned them new Indian names…….

Cadybear's Reviews Brief Thoughts- Laws of Attraction

Welcome to the thirty-first official Cadybear's Reviews Brief Thoughts! Today I'll be talking about Laws of Attracton, which I have ranked on the "Bronze Tier" at 5 stars out of a possible 10. My last and only playthrough of this was during September-December 2022 (and I finished it around July 2023).

Man, I have very mixed feelings on this series. 

I really wanted to like this one. But the first time I played Book 1, it actually bored the hell out of me. I could not follow the story, it felt like they were jumping from case to case far too quickly. And all the lawyer jargon made me tune the fuck out. Gabe and Aislinn were nice LIs tho, and I love all the electricity memes that people made of Gabe. 

The second time I played Book 1, I was slightly better at keeping up with the plot? But a lot of the earlier problems still held true. There was always a new case every chapter, only a few of which I felt they actually completed. 

Book 2 did start to take things in a slightly more interesting route with MC and friends starting their own law firm. The plot felt a lot more grounded and better-paced here, though it was still hard to follow the lawyer jargon. 

And holy fuck that finale was awful. I personally consider HSS:CA and LOA to have the worst series finales of all of Choices. Utterly inconclusive bullcrap. 

That all being said, I’d really like to give this series a second chance. I do like we have a flexible, proactive, and headstrong MC, where you can build up what kind of persona and motivations they have as a lawyer. Any story where the MC’s character is versatile like that and you have choices that matter always score major points with me.  

Also, anyone else originally thought this title was for a physics lab romance story? And… anyone else still think it should be that? And a better name for a lawyer romance story would be “Courting”?

Really annoying how in loa 2 they made us pay to build this firm etc. only for it to be for nothing and there to be no book 3.

Feel like they there won’t be a book 3 because they don’t want to wide release it and they know they would get hate if they put it in with the other sequels going into vip.
