Synopsis
From the executive producers of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, Bob Odenkirk is Lucky Hank. An English department chairman at an underfunded college, Professor Hank Devereaux toes the line between midlife crisis and full-blown meltdown, navigating the offbeat chaos in his personal and professional life – oddly proving tantrums get better with age.
Honestly props to Chris Diamantopoulos cause obviously he nailed all of Brock Thunderstrike but he NAILED Zachary Levi’s Eugene laugh. It’s uncanny how similar it is. And I wouldn’t be surprised if they purposely had Brock and Eugene laugh at the same time to emphasize that similarity

This movie was predictable, but it was still pretty good. Ryan Reynolds is not super believable as an action-type character, but he’s not the worst I’ve ever seen. I just feel like he plays the same character in every movie he’s in, but I guess that’s part of his charm. My problem is I’m not sure if it was supposed to be more of a comedy or more of an action movie, and then whether it was supposed to be totally serious or not with the fight sequences and stuff. I don’t know if that makes sense to anyone but me, though. Anyway, I would say it’s worth the watch, but don’t expect something like James Bond.
Sex/nudity: 3/10 (kissing, multiple innuendoes and sexual references as well as talk to genitalia)
Language: 6/10 (one full f-word and three partials, many uses of sh*t, some others)
Violence: 5/10 (lots of fights, not much blood if any)
