Only Time Will Tell Chris Evans fan fic part 1
Tumblr media
Summary: Reader and Chris evans are friends and have hung out every so often and have known each other for a few years and meet up again at a mutual friends’ party and reader gets cheated on and Chris might be her new chance at love but only time will tell.
Warnings: mentions of cheating, fluff, angst, mentions of being sad, mentions of anxiety, very sweet. Let me know if I’ve forgotten anything by the way this will be a 4 part mini series.
I was invited to a friends’ party for my best friend Natalie’s birthday and I just got a text from someone that said they slept with my boyfriend & I went to find my friend Natalie and told her I needed to go out for some air.
I said “hey Natalie I’m umm.. gonna go outside to get some air..”
Natalie said “ok, are you alright though?” I just nodded and walked outside & I sat there crying feeling broken and I saw someone sitting down by me and it was none other then Chris Evans. Chris saw the state I was in and wanted to make sure I was ok.
Chris said “hey Y/N what happened hun?” Feeling concerned.
Chris and I have mutual friends so we’ve hung out every so often for a few years and I’ve had a crush on him but never told him since I was with my boyfriend Alex at the time.
I looked at Chris and wiped my eyes and said “I umm.. I found out my boyfriend cheated on me..”
Chris looked at me with a sad look and hugged me and said “you deserve so much better Y/N you’re such an amazing person I can’t believe Alex cheated on you. He didn’t deserve you.”
I said “thank you Chris that means a lot to me.. could you take me home?”
Chris nodded and said “yea of course Y/N come on let’s go I’ll buy you some dinner too.”
Chris and I drove to a diner close to my place and I ate slowly and looked out the window a lot which Chris noticed.
Chris asked “what’s on that pretty little mind of yours?”
I looked over at Chris and said “I just.. I thought he loved me I don’t know.. I’m sorry..” I kept eating my dinner for a few minutes.
Chris put his hand on mine and said “hey sunshine I’m here it’s gonna be ok I promise.”
I smiled at him briefly and we got in the car and got to my place and I said “would you mind staying with me..? For a bit?”
Chris smiled at me and said “of course I will Y/N..”
Chris hugged me for a few minutes which felt weird at first but I started to relax and hugged him back not wanting to let go and I started crying.
Chris said “hey shhh it’s ok let it out you’re ok.”
After a few minutes I was able to calm down and I tried to apologize to Chris but he shook his head.
Chris said “no no, none of that, feel better?”
I nodded and said “yea.. it felt good.”
Chris smiled and said “need anything right now sunshine?”
I said “not really just maybe a nap.”
Chris heard his phone beep and he checked it and he groaned and said “I forgot I gotta go out of town for a few short days.. will you be ok until I get back?”
I nodded and said “yea .. will I see you when you come back?..”
Chris kissed my forehead and said “I’ll call you as soon as I get back I promise.”
We hugged and then he left and it’s weird I already missed him so much I can’t wait to see Chris Evans again.
Hope you enjoy xx

A lot of stories can be very triggering, please do not skip past the warnings they are there for a reason, my intent is never to hurt anyone, I just simply want to put my work out there for the people who can handle it and enjoy it
anything with a (tw) next to indicates it’s more triggering than the others and it’s just extra precaution for my readers
Hi guys, I know that currently almost none of my links are actually working and I swear I’m working on it I just have next to no free time so it really dwindles my motivation to write and then on top of that have the remake my entire masterlist 😭 please be patient and thank you so much for everything I luv uuuuuu ❤️❤️❤️
I know I barely write anymore and am lucky if I put out one story a month, and it’s honestly because school is really just making it difficult to find the time and then on top of that motivation. I don’t have the same drive I used to when it comes to writing and it’s not as exciting or as much of a hobby as it used to be but I don’t want to stop if that makes sense. I love it but at the same time I don’t feel like doing it most days. Idk. I do my best and that’s all that matters. Love you 🫶🏻

AI anon here. I don't know if you want to publish this but this it's what the AI created. You're right, it's a good catharsis, it's not fun for Chris, but it's quite therapeutic for those of us who are sad about the situation.
WARNING, THIS IS CONTENT CREATED BY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE.
"Title: Chris Evans Moves Forward After Disastrous Marriage To Alba Baptista
Introduction: Captain America actor, Chris Evans is moving forward after his disastrous marriage to actress Alba Baptista. The two were married for only a short period before their divorce was announced. Fans speculated that the marriage was a PR relationship, and Evans' reputation took a hit due to Baptista's behavior with the press, which included making rude comments and displaying a bad attitude towards reporters. Additionally, there was controversy surrounding Baptista's past, which included racist comments made by her friends in the past. Despite these setbacks, Evans is working to rebuild his relationship with fans and his career after the fiasco of his marriage.
Body:
Chris Evans, who is best known for his role as Captain America on the big screen, recently announced his divorce from actress Alba Baptista. The two were married for only 6 months before calling it quits, and the breakup shocked fans. While the exact details of the divorce are not known, fans have speculated that the two had a PR marriage or a relationship that was solely for publicity purposes.
Many fans were also put off by Baptista's behavior towards the press during the couple's short-lived marriage. Baptista, who is 16 years younger than Evans, made rude and condescending comments to reporters, and her attitude towards them was not well received by the public. Baptista was also embroiled in controversy due to racist comments made by her friends in the past.
Since the divorce, Evans has been working hard to rebuild his relationship with fans and his career. Evans is known for his charming personality and his commitment to his work. He has previously spoken about the importance of kindness and respect in the world, and many fans have taken to social media to show their support for Evans.
In terms of his career, Evans has a number of projects in the works. He recently wrapped up filming on "The Gray Man," a thriller directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, and he is set to reprise his role as Captain America in the upcoming film "Captain America: New World Order." Evans is also scheduled to star in the miniseries "Defending Jacob," which is based on the best-selling novel by William Landay."
Alright, AI might have the possibility of being dangerous. But damn does it have the ability to create some of the best fucking things in the whole wide world 😍😍😍😍😍

Thank you, An🫶n! The catharsis is real 😍😍😍😍😍

But beneath its shimmering surface, five forgotten people are about to make history...
Tor Client is a shaper. On their pirate streams, Tor evangelizes the revolutionary potential of the Internet. World’s Finest: Teen Titans will spin out from Batman / Superman: World’s Finest and will give a modern retelling of the early adventures of the original Teen Titans. “Led by Robin, the Boy Wonder, a new super-team has burst onto the scene—meet the Teen Titans, DC’s grooviest group full of super-teens with super-problems. When they’re not fighting alongside their Justice League mentors, they’re managing their image and cultivating the rabid fan base that helps them save the world…as, all the while, a danger from the shadows intends to tear these friends apart before they ever reach the big time.” (DC Comics)
World’s Finest: Teen Titans #1 goes on sale on July 11, 2023. The comic features a main cover and a 1:100 variant cover by Chris Samnee, open-to-order variants by Evan “Doc” Shaner and Jim Cheung, a 1:25 variant by W. While the world wants to say good riddance to Luthor, Superman will go to the ends of the universe, through different dimensions, and across time to save his foe. But just why does he want to save the person who’s spent his life trying to destroy him? And will he even be able to find the solution?” (DC Comics)

Destry Allyn Spielberg’s Directing Debut Will Be ‘Please Don’t Feed The Children’; ‘Downton Abbey’s Michelle Dockery Starring
By Mike Fleming Jr
March 22, 2023 8:30am
Michelle Dockery is set to star in Destry Allyn Spielberg’s directorial debut, Please Don’t Feed the Children. The elevated genre feature film will begin production late April in New Mexico. Scripted by Paul Bertino, the psychological thriller is produced by Jason Dubin and his Perry Street Films, Josh Kesselman and Michael Hagerty.
In Please Don’t Feed the Children, after a viral outbreak ravaged the country’s adult population, a group of orphans heads south in search of a new life, only to find themselves at the mercy of a deranged woman harboring a dangerous secret.
Spielberg, daughter of The Fabelmans helmer, will do this film before the one on which she originally expected to make her feature debut, Four Assassins (and a Funeral). The latter, a Kingsman-meets-Knives Out meets-Succession-style script by Ryan Hooper that made the 2021 Black List, will percolate a bit longer but is still in the works from Basil Iwanyk & Erica Lee’s Thunder Road Pictures. The pic will just move back as the other one was ready to go.
Spielberg won Best Thriller at City of Angels Women’s Film Festival in 2022 for her short film, Let Me Go the Right Way. She co-wrote the screenplay with Owen King, and it premiered at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival, with Hopper Penn and Brian D’Arcy James starring. Her work as an actress includes Licorice Pizza and an episode of the miniseries I Know This Much Is True.
Said Spielberg: “I am so grateful to have the opportunity to bring this story to the screen with such a collaborative and inspirational team. This picture is so much more than just a horror film. It’s a dream come true to work with a talent such as Michelle Dockery. I am excited to elevate the genre with our incredible cast and crew.”
Dockery is Emmy nominated for playing Lady Mary on Downton Abbey and its two film spinoffs. She also was Emmy-nommed for the Scott Frank-created limited series Godless and co-starred in the Guy Ritchie-directed The Gentlemen and opposite Chris Evans in the Morten Tyldum-directed Apple TV+ limited series Defending Jacob and the SJ Clarkson-directed limited Netflix series Anatomy of a Scandal. She just wrapped Stephen Knight’s six-part limited series This Town.
Dockery is represented by WME, Anonymous Content, Hamilton Hodell and Johnson Shapiro Slewett; Spielberg is repped by WME, Sugar 23 and Gang Tyre.

lol well I thought I finished all the Chris evans movies from the library but when I went to today to pick up my holds I had 5 more. The losers (seen not that long ago I clearly wasn’t paying attention to what I picked out) Scott pilgrim vs the world (always down for a good nostalgia movie) what’s your number (cheesy but good for background watching); puncture (I thought I watched this last week) and defending Jacob (now I really know I wasn’t paying attention when I placed my holds because this was a struggle to watch once - might be returned unseen)
There’s one librarian who is thrilled when I picked up my holds during movie watching months because there’s always a huge stack of stuff for me. I had 9 movies (well 8 and one miniseries) 2 art books and a normal book. I’ll need more movies before the week is up. Well I’ve got a bunch I want to watch on Tubi streaming so I won’t need more library movies until, hopefully, next week

movie may RANKED worst to best i think is more fun so let’s go <3 ok there’s only 30 because i didn’t feel like including the comedy special in the ranking. anyway.
30. starting off DEAD LAST NO CONTEST. not another teen movie (day 16 pt 1). it was bad. movie that claims to critique misogynistic tropes in teen movies while upholding a worse more disgusting misogyny. wow. also i didn’t laugh once. however i do think chris evans should have been contained to this genre instead of superhero movies this is literally where he belongs. anyway. movie was bad
29. friday night lights (day 5). listen the show isn’t the best thing ever but truly this movie made it look genuinely groundbreakingly progressive. i don’t really even remember this movie but i remember that it sucked
28. after ever happy (day 15). easily the second worst after movie.
27. all the wilderness (day 27). frankly. i don’t know why i watched this it wasn’t on my list it just has a guy in it. anyway it wasn’t that good but it wasn’t the worst thing i’ve ever seen
26. naked singularity (day 24). movie based on a book i didn’t read and i feel like the book is probably much better and makes way more sense. but john boyega is kinda fine soo…. also my buddy bill skarsgard was there. and olivia cooke. and she was hot. there are worse ways to spend 90 minutes. see number 30.
25. romeo and juliet 2013 (day 17). julian fellowes tries to ruin romeo and juliet. fortunately there was enough slay in the flop that it didn’t suck that bad. my friend benvolio :)
24. the lost girls (day 30). like if the sisterhood of the traveling pants was about wendy darling. and bad. but bad with a Vision. feminism win also. love it when women can’t act
23. three months (day 8). not good but made me cry so. and troye sivan was there
22. 80 for brady (day 11 pt 1). LOVE comedies about old women!! who are WEIRD about that man!! (tom brady). yeah it was as bad as you expect it to be but it was fun <3
21. footloose (day 19). there was so much flop in this movie. and yet there was enough slay to even it out in the end. i loved ren and willard’s gay little dance lesson montage so much…
20. shakespeare in love (day 29 pt 1) if a good movie was bad. if a bad movie was good. yeah
19. the count of monte cristo 2002 (day 22) some would call this movie bad. they’re right of course but also WRONG AS HELL. you had to be there. teenage henry cavill is there and that’s not even the weirdest part
18. merlin’s apprentice (day 13). HATERS will hate this two part three hour miniseries. they did not understand it though. first of all the two romantic leads of this got real life married after they met here and now have three kids. and one of them is meghan ory of abc’s once upon a time fame. so love is real jot that down
17. game night (day 4) FUN movie. and rachel mcadams was there
16. the beguiled (day 18). i liked the part where they killed him :) also i think sofia coppola slayed the aesthetics of this so i will never be watching the original peace and love xoxo
15. murder mystery 2 (day 23). i had SO much fun at the adam sandler jennifer anniston murder mystery sequel….
14. moxie (day 16 pt 2). very good movie for what it is, i think it should be required viewing for all teenage girls. however if you expect it to be really deep and a Perfect representation of feminism… you’re asking too much lmao.
13. the craft (day 3). loved it however i think those girls should have lezzed out wayyyy more also i hated the boyfriend stuff
12. dating amber (day 9). movie made me cry like a little baby so fuck this movie but also yes it was very very good and i WOULD recommend
11. the guernsey literary and potato peel pie society (day 11 pt 2). too many downton abbey actors but it’s pretty good anyway! sad though. however the primary reason i’m ranking it so high is because of how they did the end credits. some movies have a post credits scene, THIS movie has the characters talking and laughing over the credits instead of music it’s so slay seriously watch it it’s so good
10. promising young woman (day 28). well you all were there when i watched this. it was. an experience. some thing i didn’t mention however that i liked was how we never see nina at all but her presence hangs over the entire narrative and informs everything. her seymour slaughterhouse rulez swag. her laura palmer realness
9. palm springs (day 14). it was just cute! and it made me cry. and my buddy was there. can’t divulge more info than that i don’t like to talk about that but. well. always fun to hang with the old pals!
8. cyrano (day 29 pt 2). MASSIVE SLAY. what if there was a movie like 2017 beauty and the beast but it was really actually good and didn’t have an over abundance of cgi. sorry i keep making that comparison it’s just real yk. except that the beast kind of sucks and cyrano would literally never. he’s a feminist
7. not okay (day 12). caroline calloway was in this. the movie about an influencer scammer with depression… also it’s insane
6. crazy rich asians (day 25). yeah i’ve seen this movie before so maybe i shouldn’t have put it in my ranking but i just like it <3 THE movie to watch with your mom this summer! for the 5th year in a row!! god my mom loves this movie, you would not believe…
5. the map of tiny perfect things (day 31). goes so crazy…. like. what if we broke the time loop with love…… holy shit….
4. practical magic (day 2). LOVED the witch movie about men dying!! ty and livvy could do this also. that’s not relevant to the movie being good though. i LOVE you sandra bullock and nicole kidman!!!!
3. freaky (day 1). literally an insane slay. whoever thought of this concept needs their shit sucked so serious. sorry for saying that in that way i just really believe in it… and kathryn slayed… and also, and i didn’t even expect him to, vince vaughn slayed really hard as well…. also i loved the love interest boy soooo much he literally wanted to kiss her so bad he did it WHILE SHE WAS IN THE KILLER’S BODY. ok freak.
2. moonrise kingdom (day 21). i loveddddd this one…. this is the only movie may movie i’ve already started rewatching i just want to hang out with it…. i want to eat this movie like a buttery flaky perfect croissant. i also want to swim in it. it’s complicated. i loved it though <3 also it was soooo emma and jules core
1. the secret of moonacre (day 6). GIRLFANTASY WIN!!!!! this was a perfect film for me… it has EVERYTHING. AND the protagonist has a gay boyfriend. AND it was directed by my close friend gábor csupó. of jess fame…. it’s so good it’s so everything to me. i need to acquire it on dvd immediately but i haven’t yet… i can’t recommend it because if any of you watched it and didn’t feel this passionate about it i would kill myself. but i loved it for me <3
