Good morning brothers and sisters! God is with us always.

God not only was with us, God is with us. He has always been with us and always will be with us; and He is with us even now. From His coming to His going, God has been reminding us that He is with us.

Brethren, God is with us always means: He is with us in our hardship, pain, crying, doubt, fear, and struggles…He is with us in our temptations, sin, thoughts, and every action…He is with us when we’re alone, in a crowd, with a friend, or an enemy…He is with us in our joy, achievements, laughter, and blessings. He is with us always.

So I know I’ve been MIA for a long time. Mentally, I’ve been battling and have been feeling net. I didn’t want to post at all. I’ve been getting better and I’m continuing on persevering and growing in my relationship with the Lord. I’ve been so self absorbed and in my own head lately and now I’m in a space where I don’t want to do that anymore. It’s a toxic habit that I’m breaking.

I recently got back into the gym and my mom joined so I have a gym buddy! I’m on a new path to changing my diet and eating habits, so I’m very happy about those things. Growth, especially as a Christian, isn’t easy and picture perfect. It’s hard, but letting go and letting God be in control is the only way to see true change and find happiness in the ugly and messy. I’ll try to be more consistent on here with blogging my journey. We’ll see ☺️

Good morning brothers and sisters! Believe, Accept, and freely choose God.

But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15 NIV

There is an invisible and gentle current in each one of our lives that can peacefully carry us to happiness and Heaven. It is always there for us, whenever we want to let go and trust the way. Even in what might appear as the worst of times, that stream is flowing and can carry us to all things blessed. We can trust that we are being cared for, that our eternal happiness is the most important thing God has in mind for us, and that all of creation flows toward this end. Our choice is to believe this, accept it, and freely choose it.

Brethren, God provides constantly that the choice for good is always present, and continually lifts us up from our pain and our doubt to freedom to live and love again. The real question is, can we trust this? Can we find the good, or at least pursue it, and allow the force of love and life to lift us up? When we do this, we can heal and even grow. And this growth is eternal.
