I'm just torn between whether I want to flesh out Winterhome into an actual functioning town or play up all the inconsistencies and nonsense until I'm left having to conclude that no one actually even lives there except during the holiday season and everyone rolls in from other towns about two months before Yule and starts getting everything set up.

The goal of this scam is to get you to click on a sketchy link, or worse, get you to fill in personal information about yourself (here they're asking for you to give them your address; they might also ask for you to restate your credit card information just to "double check").

Don't do it. Don't click anything. It's a scam.

If you're worried it could be real, go to the website you bought the item from and log in there. If there's an issue with your shipping, it will be stated there.
