“Who... who are you and what have you done with Shigemori-san?!” Cure Swan didn’t need Bonnet to sense the dark aura emanating from the other girl. Even if this other girl looked like Tamami somewhat, she didn’t feel like her. Was this other girl some kind of dark copy or was her fellow Cure under someone else’s control?

Cure Swan got into a fighting stance, ready to defend herself or save her friend if she needed to.

Hide and Seek (chromalumina)

It had just been a passing joke. With Tamami nearby, Hana had mentioned that sometimes Michiko could simply vanish from sight. “You turn around, and she’s become one with the shadows. Even with her hair the color it is, she just blends in with the crowd, and the only way to find her is with a keen of sense of smell.” Hana touches the side of her own nose.

“I believe my record for going undetected is about fifteen minutes.” Michiko says.

“Hiding on the roof of the school doesn’t count.” Hana sticks her tongue out.

“Well then, we’ve got a big mall full of people. What say you ladies try to find Tamami and myself?” Michiko suggests. “That would be a true test of your skill, Hana, to find two targets in such a large crowd.”

Hana looks over to Tamami, as if trying to convince her to convince Michiko that this is a foolish bet. “Well, what are the stakes? What do we get if we find you both in a certain time?”

Michiko considers. “We wager food all the time. How about this: Winners get a gift card to...” Her eyes fall on a nearby boutique. “There. Not a large gift card. Enough for each winner to pick out one pair of shoes. What do you say, Tamami? Want to play?”

On the day of the Myodo Academy School Festival, Tsubomi was hard at work, passing out flyers for the day. They had chosen not to do a fashion show this year, but had instead decided to do a fashion workshop- invite people in and teach them the basics of designing and making clothes.

“Excuse me!” She called out, holding out a flyer to the brunette passing by. “We’re the Fashion Club! Please come to our workshop!”

“I don’t see why that wouldn’t work on Halloween! I have contemplated doing it before, but I settled for purchasing a Cure Swan costume. I assume it’s easier to keep my secret when I have my normal hair length and color,” Tsubasa responded, rubbing the back of her head. “Plus, I’d have to go out of my way to keep things like my enhanced strength a secret if I tried outright transforming...”

“Thanks for your help, Cure... um...” Cure Swan paused when she realized something important: she had no idea what this other Cure’s name was! She’d honestly been so focused on taking the monster before her down that she’d forgotten to ask. But now things had calmed down. Swan froze, providing a few moments of awkward silence before Bonnet flew down and gave her a small nudge.

“Wh-what was your name? I assume you’ve heard of me, considering my team is known to the public, but I’ll introduce myself anyway...” Swan’s smile was a tad awkward as she took her fairy into her arms. “My n-name is Cure Swan. I-It’s nice to meet you!”

The timid behavior Swan was showing now was a far cry from how she was acting just mere moments earlier. It was so easy to act like a brave legendary warrior when there were people to protect!
