About English Breakfasts

You know something!? I'm gonna rant and at the same time support one of the most underappreciated breakfasts today: the english breakfast

You see peeps this dish saved my fucking life.

Alright story time: Your man Leo went into a pub worried about his wallet (we have pubs in Brazil but this ain't a tradition, so the people that attends this places are high-middle class and above). At the time, the wee lad didn't have the habit of drinking but this didn't stop him to ask for a vodka based cocktail anyway, he thought to himself: "They mix this with juices and all other shit so this can't be that strong".

When the cocktail came he sip by the straw and thought: "See, it can't be that strong.". However this inner-monologues came respectively after that: "Whoa there cowboy!"; "It burns."; "Why did I ask for that?".

Leo was thirsty and felling a little oozy after that but since the only beverage availible was the cocktail in front of him (and he didn't wanted to spend more money) he kept drinking it for a while.

After a few more sips and a little time this man was swinging on his chair like a happy a monkey on a tree. But he wasn't happy, oh no, he was desperate, repeatedly asking himself how the fuck did he get in this situation and how would he get out of the chair without falling.

In the situation, the only thing he knew for real was to spend the money he was so worried about, so he bought the elixir of sobriety called: English Breakfast (since it was the cheapest option on the menu).

He was struggling hard to keep control of his etilic body, maintaing his balance was like maintaning the Yin Yang of the Universe itself but then, the almighty flavourfull savior came and he not only ate it, but discovered this arcane and blessed dish. The bread was massive and toasted to a burnt brown giving it a subtle nut-flavor, the beans were plenty and slightly sweet which perfectly aligned with the salty eggs and sausages, truly a breakfast sended by the goddess Brittania.

i love questing characters so much. characters who are chasing after one particular thing with all the strength they have and have been for so long that it’s not even really about winning anymore but about the fact that the quest has become their whole identity. characters who can’t imagine their future because it’s dominated by this one enormous unattainable goal and they know on some level it’ll never happen but they don’t even know if they want it anymore, just that chasing it is the only thing they know how to do

My Degenesis OC Alex (Chronicler). Base coloring, still needs to be shaded.

He is disabled and can't walk. Alex is a rather open-minded and cheerful person for a chronicler and likes to crack jokes, even about himself and his disability. Despite this, he has never lost his joy of life, even he is often in pain. Alex loves an orderly chaos and where anyone else wouldn't find anything, Alex knows exactly where he did put it. Nothing is really dirty or filthy, he is just chaotic, except when it comes to his codes and programming, here he is extremely meticulous and does not tolerate any deviations and everything must have HIS order.

The man can be very persistent, even annoying, when he absolutely wants something. He often then annoys the person until they end up giving it to him, just to get rid of him, which is especially the case when it comes to data files that he does not have yet (movies, games, music). Alex was born former #Greece into a family with quite poor circumstances. His parents were farmers who took the meager harvest from the land to sell it to different tribes. His three older siblings (two brothers and a sister) had to start helping on the farm at an early age and this fate would also have befallen Alex. However, at the age of 6, Alex fell into the paddock of the only bull the family owned and the aggressive animal almost trampled the poor young boy to death. Alex survived but due to the injuries to his spine and the lack of proper treatment he was not able to walk anymore and thus a burden to the family, a little glutton who could contribute nothing.

His parents tried to sell the young boy to make some profit out of the child but none wanted him cause of his disability. A chronicler took heart and bought the boy in the name of the Order, even if it was not sure that the boy would bring any benefit to the Order, but he felt sorry for the child. He didn't regret it, because Alex turned out to be quite gifted in handling technology and the will to prove to everyone that he wasn't a useless cripple.
