surely that’s worth a reward right? at the very least a show. and if cid is feeling super generous maybe gav even earned a few participation points ??? 🥹🐥

YES, 100%!!!! i can see cid sharing with gav, especially since they’re close and he trusts him, he knows gav does everything he possibly can, everything in his power, to keep his lil princess safe when cid’s away, and cid greatly appreciates that. it enables him to leave her with minimal anxiety because he knows she’s going to be well looked after + taken care of, even if gav does spoil her a little too much, and cid comes home to a baby that’s extra bratty, extra entitled, extra clingy <3 (not that he necessarily minds, of course)

honestly, cid doesn’t strike me to be someone who is extremely selfish or possessive. i think he’s extremely protective, so like you said he wouldn’t share with just anyone, but people he believes genuinely have your best interests at heart, and people he himself loves and trusts, are okay in his book. if they’ve earned it, if he thinks they’re deserving of it, then yeah he’s up to sharing! i could also see him sharing with clive!!! lately i have this idea bouncing around in my lil head of reader/you/us being her bratty, slutty, needy self and being extremely playful and teasing with clive, especially when he’s v new to the hideaway c: just flustering him, ‘accidentally’ flashing him her pretty panties or putting a dainty palm a little too high on his thigh to be appropriate, generally seeing how far she can push until he breaks—gets mad or gives in, not knowing is half the fun!—and then getting to make it up to him (or get punished! by him or cid or both <3).

cid thinks it’s pretty cute, thinks it’s pretty amusing, can’t help but chuckle to himself with a fond shake of his head when he sees her bending over in front of clive or touching him or batting pretty lashes at him as she says something borderline indecent and giggles at the way he chokes on his words or sputters and gargles his drink or growls about how she’s being inappropriate and she should stop this instant <3 cid’s pretty curious to see just how far she can push, too, and how clive will react when he finally snaps and loses it. will he take matters into his own hands immediately, grabbing lil princess’s wrists in a single large palm and shoving her against the wall and snarling at her to cut it out already? will he give into all of her teasing because he just can’t take it anymore, bending her over the nearest surface in a thick lust-and-anger induced haze and pounding the life out of her without thinking twice about it? will he come to cid with shame in his eyes and remorse in his voice and express that he doesn’t know what to do or how to handle this, worried cid might get angry at him, or her, or both? it’s a game to them both <3

replaying kh1 is really interesting just from the sora riku kairi dynamics to sora donald and goofy becoming friends to the fact there’s no fucking map and moogle is only in traverse town but reminds me that kh always fills you with such nostalgia like i really want to rewatch disney movies now

a few highschools came to the College™ to check out the programs and my teacher had a few of us (including me, who was thrown into it without warning) demonstrate and have the kids take off wheels which was . not as bad as I thought it was gonna be . they actually listened to me and were respectful which was a nice change of pace fr

pros:

clive is a good mc, he’s nowhere near my fave character but i like him

i really liked a bunch of the side npc characters, such as gav, byron, and mid

the eikon battles are incredible (bahamut’s especially)

the combat isn’t that deep but it’s fun (i understand why some people hate it though)

dion exists

amazing soundtrack, inject it into my veins please

clive and joshua’s relationship makes me cry

cons are under the cut because it’s waay longer and spoilery

the story has such weird pacing. i haven’t played ff14 but from what ive heard from ff14 players, the game’s story structure feels like an offline mmo (i mean. it makes sense because the ff14 team made this game)

i know there needs to be downtime in between major story beats, but the mandatory fetch quests really grind the pacing to a halt

there are so. many. cutscenes. dear lord.

my favorite ff is probably 10, which also has a ton of cutscenes, so idk why the cutscene/gameplay ratio feels super off in this game, despite me liking other cutscene-heavy games

i really can’t articulate why ff16’s cutscenes feel so overwhelmingly long but they do

don’t get me wrong a lot of the cutscenes are great!!! but some could’ve been trimmed down and it would’ve achieved the same effect

despite being the female lead, why does jill feel underwritten to me

jill has all the components to be a great character but i feel like she’s never fully realized (she’s not horrible though, i still like her)

benedicta, hugo, and barnabas were all underutilized/wasted

the world is pretty but there’s nothing to really do in it, the game doesn’t reward exploration

why the hell isn’t there any party banter, ff7r and ff15 did party banter so well

jill is with you for a good chunk of the game but doesn’t really talk outside of main story sections, even generic battle dialogue like “watch out clive!” or “leave it to me!” would’ve been nice? sometimes i forgot she was even there while i was out fighting

where are the classic ff creatures, i mean there’s literally a moogle in this game despite its clashing aesthetic, so you’d think there’d be more? where are the cactuars and tonberries...

speaking of creatures, the lack in enemy variety started to really wear on me by the end of the game

a bunch of bosses were reskins of earlier bosses. they clearly put their whole final fantussy into the eikon battles so i guess i cant even be mad

the story transitioning from being a more grounded political plot to a typical jrpg “kill god save the world” plot isn’t handled that well

ultima is such a boring main villain im sorry

i think they could’ve cut 70% of ultima’s dialogue and his character would’ve been much better

speaking of villains, they really needed a “face” villain that they encounter consistently throughout the game before transitioning to ultima

barnabas should’ve been that face villain but he’s not relevant until the last quarter of the story

i definitely have more cons but i cant think of any atm
