I think some part of me will always be that kid walking out of a huge movie theater into a grey overcast afternoon not realizing her world was about to be permanently changed but feeling changed already herself by the animated Disney film she'd just seen that she would spend a year acting like she was too cool to be affected by, even though she'd never cried at a movie before that and and the cries from the speakers were still ringing in her ears on that cold, overcast afternoon, right before her world changed

#so I saw big hero 6 when it was first in theaters but not at my hometown theater bc we'd been visiting several hours away #and decided to see the showing at the movie theater in that bigger city while we were up there #it was the first movie I'd ever cried at and I pretended to be too cool for school even though I knew #even at 12 years old #that that movie had deeply affected me #i will not bring this anecdote back around to where you all probably assume it's going bc for once that isn't the point #the point is. it changed me and I think there's a part of me that is still in that wet chilly damp parking lot #walking out of the regal theater in fairbanks alaska #this is definitely inspired by Eden's batman 2020 post btw I just. some things stay with you or you leave a piece behind #and that can in many ways be good #Lu rambles

Wolf isn't the only one that deals with nightmares about the past, especially the nightmares about losing the love of your life.

But the nightmares are just that, bad dreams that tell a story of fear and things that never came to be, as when these nightmares pass come the comfort and reassurance that what was seen wasn't real, and that they are both still there and alive.

The picture is post inauguration into the Toppats, with Wolf not quite a picture taking person but is very happy for the moment and Lex's eye being wrapped up after being looked at and properly treated by the Toppat medical team.

Adding some curious facts:

1️⃣ Edo Erza is now royal by marriage, obtaining the title of "Consort Queen" that is a bit of a contrast with James bc even if he is from royal family, he is going to become king by marriage, so, he is going to obtain the "King Consort" title, that gave us one "Erza" and one "Jellal" with the "Consort" title in their royal status.

2️⃣ Erza will not inherit the title "Queen" from Irene, bc that Kingdom does not longer exist, so Jellal is not going to obtain the "King Consort" title neither.

3️⃣ Even so, Jellal and Erza rule my heart, so that makes them royal; the King and Queen from my heart. 🥰❤️💙

I idiotically deleted (something I do far too often) Sam's post from yesterday and was unable to recover all the screenshots🤡

But basically, Sam Norwood, Coraleye's best friend from childhood usually enjoys his solitude, but his empty big city apartment was starting to get lonely, so he asked his sister to Eden to move into the spare bedroom. It feels just like old times. (can't remember my original caption word for word sorry 😔)

In efforts to make this into something new, I offer a part 2 to this arbitrary but adorable casual gameplay post:

Later that day, Eden and Sam run into the neighbor across the hall, Arun Bheeda, and Eden, who is for some reason chilling in her panties in the hallway develops an immediate attraction for Arun.

Sam, who's only known Eden his entire existence, instantly picks up on this and not-so-subtly hints during conversation that Arun is a happily married father of two. Sam: And how are the kids and Jesminder? Your wife, Jesminder? That you're loyal and devoted to? For better or for worse? Sickness and in health? For richer or for poorer? How's she doing?

While Arun responds, Eden sends Sam a text, explaining that men who are in loving, loyal, unbreakable, unwavering relationships are always the sexiest 😍💦

Have you watch Fairy Tail by any chance? I'm curious because you like One Piece and I wanted to know if you also like (or at least don't hate) Fairy Tail. It's very difficult to find someone who doesn't dislike it :(

My feelings on Fairy Tail are fairly mixed because back in Uni I was DEEP in the show.

Loved all the fights, loved the power system, loved Natsu, Erza and loved Gajeel a lot! The soundtrack is an absolute banger and I managed to read the manga till the end and watch the anime till the beginning of the last arc.

However, at around the Tartaros arc I started to become aware of certain uh…let’s say the way the author treats his female characters was starting to wear me down. And eventually I lost interest in keeping up the hype.

I did try to read Edens Zero but the “fanservice” in that one was like 1000% worse and really started to disgust me, so I couldn’t stomach reading anymore.

Sorry if this isn’t what you wanted to hear but know that I still have very fond memories of the show and frequently go back to watch moments I love!

"Levels of aggression and violence have been shown to be significantly lower among individuals who have some nearby nature outside their apartments than among their counterparts who live in barren conditions. Surveys exploring these results show residents with green views report using reasoning more often in conflicts with their children rather than violence. They also report less use of physical violence in conflicts with partners compared to those living in buildings without trees.

There is a strong relationship between higher levels of tree canopy and lower levels of crime, regardless of socioeconomic factors. In New Haven, Connecticut a 10% increase in tree canopy was associated with a 14% decrease in property crimes and a 15% decrease in violent crime. In Chicago, an old rail corridor turned tree-lined trail had the unexpected result of a rapid decrease in the local crime rate.
