Wassup IG Fam. It’s officially been 8 years of me living in #LA 😯 lol. People ask me all the time, what is some good advice for ppl wanting to make the move to LA pursue their dreams like you did. Me: 🥴🤢😑 Cringe!! LOL. What always comes to mind is first congratulating them on even wanting to take such a step. So many ppl stay in their towns with dreams that just needed a fearless push. But then based on what’s said to me, I know if their ready for the real or not. (In my head) What you really coming to LA for? These dreams new orrr you actually been working at it for some time?? Do you Know yourself yet? Do you have standards... limits? Or you plan on figuring all that out in LA? Not even thinking about their talent yet. Cuz theirs many other ways to get booked in #LA 🤧 LOL, on the real.... my best advice is to TAKE YOUR TIME and Get Ready!! Prepare Mentally, Physically, Emotionally and for sureeee Financially. California Gov. Gavin Newsom and state lawmakers to get 4% pay raise 🍿 @gavinnewsom 🖕 Reporting from Sacramento — A state panel granted a 4% pay raise to Gov. Gavin Newsom, legislators and other elected officials Friday, citing the booming California economy and big budget surplus. The raises will bump the base pay of California legislators to $114,877 on Dec. 2, while Newsom’s pay will jump to $209,747. Four-percent raises will also be received by the state attorney general, treasurer, controller, insurance commissioner and other statewide officials. The pay hikes were approved by the state Citizens Compensation Commission, which is appointed by the governor and required to meet annually to set the pay of elected officials. During the recession of a decade ago, the panel cut salaries, but it has routinely granted raises in recent years. While raises drew criticism from taxpayer groups, others said they were justified and noted that state officials are underpaid compared with counterparts on city councils and county boards of supervisors.
