Former ‘Bachelorette’ Clare Crawley marries Ryan Dawkins
Clare Crawley finally got her final rose. The former reality star, who searched for love on four shows in the “Bachelor” franchise, married her fiancé, Ryan Dawkins, on Wednesday. The couple exchanged vows during an intimate ceremony in the bride’s native Sacramento, Calif. “If I had to do this day over every single day for the rest of my life … I wouldn’t change a thing,” she told People.…

only the option with the lowest percentage will be eliminated! propaganda under the cut (and more is always welcome!):
tim drake and stephanie brown:
Tim and Steph are a thing for most of their history. Then stuff happens and they break up and soon after that Tim is confirmed to be bi and starts dating Bernard (former random side character who nobody thought would ever be relevant again)
lisa cuddy and gregory house:
The show spends 7 seasons hinting that House is going to end up with Cuddy, and then writes her out in season 7. In the finale, he has a flashback of people who impacted his life and she doesn’t even show If House and Wilson can’t be together, then House and Cuddy should
nell serrano and edward:
Not Dead Yet? More like Not Together Yet
ash ketchum and misty:
They’re basically set up as a kind of enemies to friends story and they make recurring jokes about how she clearly has a big crush on him, but nothing ever happens My childhood, i shipped them when I was 10
matthew and mary crawley:
They spend multiple seasons full of tension to get their happy ever after. There are so many tropes used between these two. They finally get their shit together and get married, and then have a beautiful child together. Matthew is so happy about his child being born that he doesn't pay attention to the road and fucking DIES IN A CAR CRASH. And that's how their story ends. It makes me so livid every time I think about it lol they really killed him off like that right after and I mean RIGHT AFTER his child is born. It's so foul and every man that they set Mary up with after that doesn't feel nearly the same
maka albarn and soul evans:
Throughout the series, they have a deep friendship with each other which is consistently extremely important to the story's narrative. In order for them to be able to fight, they must get along and resonate with each other, and due to the mechanics of their world, fighting independently of each other is extremely difficult. In multiple instances, they are shown to be willing to put themselves in harm's way to extreme degrees to keep each other safe. They are even shown to live together. They are The Singular Straight Ship I have ever shipped and I love them. Also they are really cool and Soul can turn into an awesome scythe weapon that like only Maka can wield. And they fight really awesomely together.
grace blackthorn and christopher lightwood:
Okay so basically in Shadowhunters there was this family tree, and on it it stated that Christopher and Grace got married and had a kid. And in the book series they were just good friends. Cassandra Clare (the author) has said it’s inaccurate. But like cmon you said they were going to get married 😭😭
kipo oak and benson mekler:
It only lasts a few episodes, but this is a very clear INTENTIONAL straight bait from the writers, as it's a female main character with a male major supporting character, and Benson even takes Kipo to a carnival, which Kipo interprets as a date, until she confesses attraction to him, where he tells her he's gay and just wants to be friends.
cali and flynn:
It starts off as a one-sided crush on Flynn’s side, and later becomes mutual when Cali develops feelings for him in the Skylanders IDW spin-off comics, their romantic tension lasts for most of the franchise (five games, a chapter of a spin-off comic, and a few bits and pieces in the spin-off books and mobile games), so far they’ve never gotten together as the franchise is currently still in hiatus mode (says this while on extreme copium) I think we need to appreciate the tropes in Calynn: Opposites Attract, Tough Girl x Himbo, Smart x Dumb, “You’re stupid, I like that in a man” vibes all over this ship! Seven year old me didn’t see Cali calling Flynn her guy in the sky whilst Flynn looked at her with heart eyes to lose to some other pairing!
good luck everyone! now go vote!

Bachelor in Paradise. Season 8. 7.4/10
I wouldn't recommend this season to my friends. I wouldn't rewatch this season.
Still attractive: Serene, Teddi, Sierra, Michael, and Brandon. My surprise when I saw them on the season: Michael A., Rodney, and anyone returning to the episode after leaving.
I'm dead at the fake cat Jill brought. I was not expecting Kira to say she could've been a pornstar. I cannot believe Michael A. is here. He also really is so ripped. Omg at Sierra not having a pinky and people not realizing. Omg at all of us listening to Wells's story about Clare Crawley being the other woman for Jared. Genevieve and Shanae starting a friendship is revolutionary.
I love the dance battle at the Sadie Hawkins dance.
It's so crazy polar this season. Sierra is so amazing of a person. Her breakup with Michael is heartbreaking. Why is she so understanding? What kind of man ever takes rejection in that way? Brandon and Serene are amazing together in the perfect way. Aaron says random funny things. I love how much everyone likes Michael A. Michael and Casey having a commentary on the people is like the muppets grandpas--Statler and Waldorf. Victoria Fuller is like the most stable to me here. Like no expectations, no problems. Brittany is a homie, and she can be my homie anyday. She confronts people for their shittiness. Why was Jacob eating the pineapple like that? Eliza's happy reaction to having both Rodney and Justin pursue her is gold. If it were anyone else, would I still think so positively about them? idk, but she was so cute and real and you go girl. Love Aaron and Genevieve talking through miscommunication and insecurities stemming from Justin. Love Victoria and Johnny talking about their fears within their relationship. All good communication. I though Genevieve was overreacting about being scared of a spider, but that mofo was huge. LMaoo at Victoria and Eliza reacting to Aaron and Genevieve fighting and making up. We love the support too, especially girls who support girls.
Romeo making bad decisions and crying so severely because of it is pathetic to me. I know people who don't realize their bad decision making while living the consequences, and while it does suck, you left behind hurt people on the way. Him leaving with Kira. He's such a loser to me. Like, find something authentic instead of being desperate. I don't like Kate. On a separate note, she talks in random sayings. I do hate how Shanae is being treated based on her past behavior, but I also do understand what it's like to feel some typa way about a bully. Same thing with peoples' treatment of Lace. I honestly feel like the men on the beach reacting to Lace coming back for Rodney is disrespectful. Peter is a horrible being. How can your view of yourself make you so delusional about the world? How can you so easily diss and stamp down others to keep yourself high? The Ashley peeing in the ocean thing is weird. Justin is not cute to me or great in personality or humor. He is not a hot commodity and is also a gaslighter. Same with Logan. I don't like how the men relate women's anger with natural disasters. It's so disrespectful. I feel like making the ladies leave and replacing them with new ladies..is just awarding men. We don't like that. People's reaction to Casey's fainting is kinda not great. They're just like aw that's horrible. Lace doesn't feel grown up to me. Kira taking Salley's vibrator is so weird to me. I also don't like how everyone opened her stuff. I would've preferred if Michael A. made more sense in his rejection of Sierra. I don't feel it was truly honest. Ency dealing with Andrew is so toxic. She's like someone who either has always gotten what they want in life (which I don't believe) or they're just soo not ready for a healthy relationship. Editors did do Ency wrong by making her so pathetic. I did not like how Brittany and Victoria seemed so over their breakup in the finale. Like, hearts were broken and ya'll are like I've moved on, and what's the problem? Love was on the line.
Memorable Quotes: "Hey, yo, I brought us tacos. What's going on?" "Ew, heartbreaks are the worst." "Paradise is built different." "I called the police. They're on their way actually cuz I've reported a murder of the vibe." "You never come in peace." "I'm going to need so much therapy after this, it's not even funny."

Bachelor In Paradise: The Downfall Of Brendan and Pieper
SEPTEMBER 16, 2021 14:41:14 BY ANASTASIA
So the talk of the town in Bachelor Nation surrounds Bachelor In Paradise contestants, Brendan Morais and Pieper James, who thought they could crack the Bachelor code and were caught red-handed. After they were exposed for their plan, Brendan lost at least 86,000 followers, and Pieper lost 9,000 (talk about a plan backfiring).
This season of Bachelor In Paradise was long-awaited because last year’s season was cancelled due to the pandemic. But a season right after a pandemic brought some complexities to the show that we’ve never seen before. Since a summer season was skipped, franchise favourites were meeting up for parties, hangouts, and flirty trips that have resulted in the show feeling less authentic than other years. The Love Island-esque extension of the franchise puts together men and women from various seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette trying to find love on a beach in Mexico. The men and women alternate for the power at the rose ceremonies each week, where they couple up with whoever they’re vibing with. Anyone without a rose gets sent home. And of course they send more contestants to the beach to shake things up, because this is reality TV and we need drama and heartbreak. So watching the contestants come down to the beach and pretend like they didn’t know each other was super annoying for me and any other fans who follow them on Instagram. But these contestants depend on Bachelor In Paradisefor a follower bump, and since the season was cancelled last year, they made their own unofficial Paradise.
Brendan, who was on Tayshia Adams’ season, was one of the original cast members on the beach in the first episode, and when I saw him, I was a little confused because there were reports that he was with Pieper, from Matt James’ season, outside of the show. I quickly brushed it off because of course he wouldn’t show up on the island with a girlfriend. He was a fan favourite when he was on The Bachelorette, and was my ideal winner for Tayshia, so there’s no way he could ever do something like that on the beach, right? (SO wrong). He ended up getting cozy with Natasha Parker, who was on Peter Weber’s Bachelor season. While Natasha was expressing her feelings for him, he was being super reserved. Despite him acting really sus, he still reciprocated feelings for Natasha with words, and they exchanged roses every week…until Pieper came along. As soon as she came down to the Island, she asked Brendan to the date right away without speaking to any other guys, and that was that, they were together.
The most frustrating part about all of this is how smug they were about it. They know that the drama of it all would make their names huge on social media, and we even see Pieper saying she doesn’t care that people may see right through their little plan because “she’s not stupid” when it pertains to gaining followers on the beach. Brendan didn’t care that he used Natasha until Pieper showed up, because he figured that even if he was a villain, he would still get engagement on his accounts.
I am confident that if it wasn’t for the producers’ hand in this, it might not have resulted in the way that this all has. Like I’m sure Brendan and Pieper thought, there have been plenty of moments on this show that created villains, but it never resulted in this much of a loss of followers. There are also recent moments where social media got in the mix with no repercussion from the show, or Instagram followers. Former Bachelorette, Clare Crawley, ended her season early because she knew she wanted to pick Dale Moss after the first night, but what was shady about that was how she had already known of him before filming through Instagram because of the abrupt filming delay due to the pandemic. Although fans weren’t so happy about that, the show celebrated her decision to follow her heart. It’s been over a year now, and Clare and Dale are living it up together (with no loss of Instagram followers). https://77b0ce55a363e6f5b2acec44ddf07dee.safeframe.googlesyndication.com/safeframe/1-0-40/html/container.html?n=0
The thing about producers is that they know everything. Of course they knew that Brendan and Pieper were dating, which is why they put space between their appearances on the island. So the only difference between this moment of villain behaviour versus others is that Brendan and Pieper tried to play the show’s format for their own gain. The show thrives on true relationships formed in front of the cameras, not behind them. The show doesn’t want to follow along blindly because they don’t want other people to think they can get away with it, because the show would completely crumble if people were to see this work.
Another bad move by Brendan was picking Natasha as the one he would use to coast through. Natasha is a co-host of Clickbaitwhich is an official Bachelor Nation podcast. The show is going to want to protect Natasha at all costs because she recaps the show on the podcast, and if she isn’t happy with how things are portrayed, that could mean she takes a stand against the show by stopping the recording of the podcast. But all of that business stuff aside, Natasha is also a person, and she should not have been disrespected the way she was. Not only did Brendan blatantly use her to get through the show, but he also repeatedly said that he doesn’t understand why she’d be so upset because no one else would be interested in her on the island in the first place. It is difficult to see a dark-skinned Black woman on the island told that, especially because the show has had a past of portraying Black women as undesirable through micro-aggressions and editing. Colourism is a huge issue in the world of dating, and it has been put under a magnifying glass because of the show as well. Thankfully, the Bachelor franchise has shown that they are making strides towards being better, and everyone rallied around Natasha and supported her through this.
When Brendan and Pieper were confronted by contestants of the show, which led to them leaving the island together, Natasha was given a rose by the show to give her a second chance at love because it was taken away from her. As much as I’d like to believe that this was solely because they wanted to support her through this hurtful time, it’s definitely also a statement to any future contestants not to mess with the process, because you will be caught.
The support is rampant on social media as well, because Natasha has gained over 200,000 followers since the blowout. Brendan and Pieper have also released statements connected to the matter, and it turns out that they aren’t even an official couple right now. Is this the reset that the show needed to restore its integrity? The show is losing whatever shred of authenticity it had because everyone is able to slide into DMs, or meet up for the sake of boosting engagement, but with that comes the lack of care for actual...engagements. Brendan was a fan-favourite, cherished by the whole nation, so if the producers are willing to throw that under the bus to prove a point, that shows that they are not happy with it.
Now, he is most likely facing monetary consequences from this, because followers are money, and I don’t think there’s any way to gain those followers back any time soon. Hopefully this debacle will demonstrate to people that when the show becomes involved, the consequences can be serious. Most importantly, I hope the show makes it a habit to protect people who are walked over, because as much drama as it was to see the situation play out, it was even more drama to see the bad guy actually taken down.

🌹 Ex-'Bachelor' Stars: Epic Transformations & Current Lives Revealed!
Roses and Reality Woes: A Bachelor's Bouquet of Drama 🌹 You know, it's funny how some things stand the test of time, like that ancient gum stuck under your shoe or your grandma's questionable meatloaf recipe. But let's talk about roses, shall we? Those delicate blooms that, quite frankly, have a better chance at surviving a horde of ravenous rabbits than some folks do on The Bachelor. Ah, The Bachelor, the show that hit our screens like a glitter bomb back in 2002. Remember Alex Michel, the guy crowned the world's most eligible Bachelor? Well, more than 20 women flocked to him like moths to a reality TV flame. And just like that, the reality TV gods cracked open a fortune cookie that said, "Prepare for drama!" Fast forward a year, and voila! The Bachelorette strutted onto the scene, proving that even the universe can't resist a good spin-off. Now, if you're doing the math, you'll realize that 47 brave souls have stepped into the Bachelor/Bachelorette spotlight since the dawn of time, or at least since the dawn of Neil Lane engagement rings. Brad Womack, bless his indecisive heart, had two rounds in the hot seat. Talk about getting more chances than a contestant at an all-you-can-eat buffet! But hold onto your rose petals, folks, because the year 2020 rolled in like a rogue wave and delivered the twist of all twists. Tayshia Adams swooped in to save the day—or at least the season—when Clare Crawley found herself head over heels for a contestant faster than you can say "Reality TV therapists needed." Yes, siree, less than two weeks into the official engagement ring hunt, Clare and her beau-to-be were outtie like a bunch of teens ditching a calculus test. Tayshia stepped up like a champ, juggling suitors like a circus performer with a knack for handing out roses instead of juggling pins. Tayshia accepted Zac Clark's proposal in the end, but surprise, surprise, their love train took a detour to Splitsville in November 2021. And remember Clare and her instant love connection, Dale Moss? Well, their journey was like a roller coaster that got stuck upside down—briefly split in January 2021, then finally crashed and burned in September. Oops, looks like that Neil Lane magic isn't as potent as we thought. Now, in a world where reality TV twists are as common as avocado toast on Instagram, you might wonder if there's any hope for our Bachelor and Bachelorette heroes. Well, my friends, buckle up as we take a wild ride through the treacherous terrain of fame, love, and rose petals. It's like the real-life version of trying to find a needle in a haystack made entirely of shredded Bachelor application forms. And so, dear readers, whether you're a devoted fan or just someone who can't resist a good ol' mess of reality drama, grab your popcorn and get ready for a tale of love, loss, and the eternal quest for that Neil Lane fairy tale. 🍿🌹# Roses and Reality Woes: A Bachelor's Bouquet of Drama 🌹 You know, it's funny how some things stand the test of time, like that ancient gum stuck under your shoe or your grandma's questionable meatloaf recipe. Clare Crawley Says Dale Moss Engagement was Crushing: "It Brought Out the Worst in Me"
Remember when Clare Crawley didn’t just fall hard for Dale Moss… … she fell SO hard for Dale Moss that she agreed to marry him after just a few weeks as The Bachelorette in 2020, becoming the first series lead to depart the show before her finale was even filmed? Feels like ages ago, doesn’t it? This past Tuesday, Crawley was a guest on the “Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast,” opening up to…

Downton rewatch thoughts:
Edith should have told Cora and Robert about Marigold from the beginning, or come back from Switzerland with Marigold as a ward she picked up there. Alternative storyline I shall definitely produce at some point.
Mary being oblivious to all of it for as long as she was. I know she had her own concerns, but she's as sharp as the dowager at times and this was really one of those where she should have noticed.
Sybil's character is wasted. I know Jessica Brown Findlay wanted to leave after three seasons, this was made clear to the show creators and cast from day one, but they could have done so much more with her. Starting off as a young wannabe suffragette before becoming a nurse during the war. Instead of marriage she could have gone off to London medical school and Tom Branson becomes the land agent and waits for her. This would have covered her absence. The whole marriage, death in childbirth always feels such a waste whenever I watch it, especially as they have to bring in Rose Mac Clare, there was clearly a void which needed filling.
Daisy's marriage to William is forced on her by superior pressure and really doesn't seem right. It pays off in the end, with her inheriting the farm, but it feels like a moral injustice to start with.
Matthew Crawley annoys me at times. His whole moral high ground regarding the Swire fortune, his attitude towards Mary, expecting her to defend and support his opinions after they're married when he knows how independent she is. It's very typical of the period, yet seems out of character for him, considering his desire for her to inherit his share of Downton. His attitude towards Gregson and Edith, as if the latter should obey his disapproval and not get involved with a married man, as if he has authority over her now he is her brother in law. Again typical of the period and yet feels out of character due to his support of Tom and Sybil, whose relationship he really shouldn't support due to difference in rank and fortune, yet he does. His highhanded attitude with Rose, treating her like a child when he takes her home from the nightclub in Soho. All of this contrasted with his hypocrisy when he kisses Mary while still engaged to Lavinia. His arrogant entitled attitude.
The whole Patrick Gordon/Crawley plotline was closed too quickly. How does he get access to the house when it's not clear who he is, why does he go away so soon after Edith shows her doubts from what Mary said. It is never answered properly whether he was a con or not, although the amnesia after the ship sinking was a bit much.
A New Era has a few continuity errors. Firstly Henry resumes a racing career that he gave up in the final season. I know this was due to COVID and filming commitments, but it doesn't work. Only because he was barely in the first movie, again for the same reasons, is the excuse. And there are still a lot of fans who miss Matthew Crawley. Caroline, their daughter is rarely seen, quite forgotten, along with the second hand car shop as Tom Branson is suddenly elevated into the ranks of the aristocracy. We see little of his romance with Lucy, which shouldn't have gone smoothly because this is Downton, yet the assumption is there precisely because we don't see it.
I shall probably add to this as I continue.

Bachelor Alum Sarah Herron's "Beautiful Son" Has Passed Away After Premature Birth
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Sarah Herron (@sarahherron) Sarah Herron of "The Bachelor" gave birth to son Oliver with fiancé Dylan Brown on Jan. 28 when she was 24 weeks pregnant. Tragically, Oliver "passed away in his dad's arms shortly after." Herron shared her heartbreak via Instagram on Feb 1. "There are no words for the magnitude of loss and pain we're experiencing," she wrote in the caption. "It's beautiful and simultaneously tragic. He had my nose and his dad's mouth and long fingers." Herron described their "beautiful son" as an "IVF miracle" who had already fought "many hard milestones" before being born. "He has taught us so much about the integrity of life, love and death," she added. "Oliver filled our home and hearts with so much love and most importantly, optimism. The stars aligned to create Baby Oliver with a deep, meaningful purpose bigger than we'll ever understand. His body was small, but his legacy will always be larger than life to us." She noted the memories she'll cherish, including their simple morning routine with her dog, Rio (aka Oliver's "brother"). "Our time together was short, but we are grateful for the days we had with Oliver in my belly," she said, referencing the time "Oliver swam with sea turtles" and when he "kept me company while I recovered from a broken knee." She added, "Most of all, Oliver loved his morning routine of laying heart to heart with his brother, Rio, on my lap." Chris Harrison and others from the Bachelor franchise shared their condolences in the comments. "God bless you all Sarah," Harrison wrote. "We love you." Clare Crawley added, "Sarah you are the most amazing mother and your strength through to everything to fight so hard for your son has been nothing less than beautiful to witness." Herron, 36, included a black and white photo of Oliver lying on her chest with her husband kissing her forehead. "While our hearts are shattered beyond comprehension, we are comforted knowing that our son's soul only ever knew love and will not suffer in a body that wasn't built for this life," she said. "We'll never understand the cruelty of it all, but through the darkness, Oliver remains so so bright. We love you so much, baby boy. You will never be replaced." https://www.popsugar.com/family/sarah-herron-newborn-died-premature-49077090?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=tumblr
