I often forget that Silena and Clarisse pulled a Achilles and Patroclus.

Silena died due to that drakon, which then died by the HANDS of Clarisse who continued to drag that dead drakon body behind her chariot and slashed down any monster in her way. She was raging and got the bless of Ares, and never ever let ANYONE bash or talk shit about Silena. She didn't care that she betrayed her and her camp because Clarisse loved Silena unconditionally

pjo takes that i feel like should just be common sense at this point.

walker scobell is going to be a great percy jackson in the same vein that leah is going to be a great annabeth. i know i’m a little late on this one but the fact that the fandom attacked a little girl for being black is insane to me. if you were part of an ounce of that hate, fuck you. her not being how you imagined her looking is fine! hating her for her role in the show is not! that’s all i’m going to say about that because it’s just nonsense

clarisse la rue is not a skinny girl. she is big. i’m very disappointed we didn’t get a big girl playing her. on a similar note, i’m also very happy to see another woman of color in the show.

i read somewhere that luke’s actor is freshly eighteen. whether this is true or not, he’s clearly young, and so i think, legal adult or not, it should be common knowledge not to sexualize him. i am seventeen. if a bunch of people on the internet started sexualizing me overnight because of a character in a show i was playing, i would be more than a little freaked out. that’s all i’ll say about that. he’s a real person and i don’t care if he’s eighteen or not. it’s weird as fuck

i want all the lukabeth shippers to look at charlie and leah. their age gap is very similar to how it was in the books. i seriously need you to look at the differences in them. lukabeth is gross. “but luke developed feelings for her when she was older!!” yeah, i don’t care. i do not care.

in the same vein, luke and percy are the same amount of weird. when percy is first introduced in the series, he is twelve, the same age as annabeth. when luke is introduced, he is nineteen. that is a wacky age gap, especially at those ages. and even when luke has feelings for annabeth, later on in the series, she’s still a minor. he’s still an adult. if you don’t get it now, i don’t know if you’re ever going to get it

also, luke does some really horrible stuff, so i’m just going to say it now: hate the character, not the actor. i don’t want to see charlie getting hate for playing a shitty person. i also don’t want genuine luke apologists just because of the way charlie looks.

to wrap this up, disney just sucks. pirate the show. cancel your disney+ or don’t buy it at all. @ughdomenico said it a lot better than i am so go check that post out

but yeah. i just wanted to say something because some of the shit that has been circulating around this fandom is absolutely absurd and it makes my head hurt
