So, the famous Todoroki - Deku convo about the All Might figurine, confirming that:

Shouto recognizes Deku’s pencils 

They study English in Shouto’s room

Shouto does actually have emotional intelligence - he tries to cast his comment about Deku’s overwhelming amount of All Might-merch into positive light by joking about having something in his room

Deku wants to give one of his most treasured figurines to Shouto immediately

Shouto listens without interruption to Deku’s fanboy rambling and then pauses to think, before realizing he would never appreciate that merch the way Deku does

When he sees Deku being dejected over his refusal - he finds the win-win solution - Deku will keep the figurine and Shouto gets visitation rights.

So now that School Briefs 5 is out in English, I finally got a chance to read the full Todo-siblings chapter.

My favourite part is still Natsou returning home and finding that Shouto lit incense at Touya’s altar…

The fact that Natsuo and Fuyumi were both home, when Rei burnt Shouto and it makes sense, because it seems like early morning.

Fuyumi giving head-pats to Natsuo and Shouto looking at it strangely. This chapter has so many moments just showing how close Natsuo and Fuyumi are, but then also how Fuyumi is a surrogate mom for Shouto. But Shouto and Natsuo are basically strangers.

It seems also that some of the distance was self-imposed, which explains Natsuo’s own feelings of guilt of not being the kind of big brother to Shouto he could have been. Then again his fear of getting close makes sense considering he lost Touya and his mom too.

This is the first time for them ever bathing together. It sounds like Shouto bathed alone after Rei was gone, and probably he only started to bathe with his people once he moved in the dorms. We saw in the bathing chapter the splash wars - I wonder how it was for Shouto to experience that for the first time.

Oh, Bakugou 😤😢 why do you have to be such a tsundere. But can we appreciate confirmation that Shouto was really trying to befriend Bakugou here?

The sauna chapter by the way tells us that Bakugou thrives on Todoroki’s heat. Shouto makes him sweat, and the more he sweats, the stronger he becomes.

Basically the LN says, TDBK are extremely compatible.

Also, coincidentally, this is really great Medic!Shouto content right here. He’s treating injuries, while keeping up his job as sauna.

Aww, this chapter also proves moving in with Bakugou would be torture. He’d be the type of guy rearranging every picture frame endlessly until it’s completely centered and level.

Excuse my question, but do you know if Tokoyami appears in light novel 5? The one you're currently reading, I think. He's my favorite 1A student, and I just wanted to know at least, if he has any appearances in any of the chapters, before searching for it and reading it. Again, I apologize for the question if it sounded rude or something, and it's fine if you don't know, whether he appears or not. I just thought of asking you since you're reading it is all.

Yes, the chapter I'm reading right now is about Iida, Kirishima, Tokoyami, Shoji and Kouda finding the tunnels of the UA defense system that Nezu describes in Ch 323

There is quite a bit about Tokoyami & Dark Shadow.
