Hello und Guten Tag, my dear people!

An introduction is always a great & important thing to start with, especially if you haven't been around for quite a long time. Perhaps the RP community has changed on this app within the years but since I've already made my experience with Instagram, I'd like to try my luck here again!

To tell you a bit about my humble self, my name is Bella and I'm the most oldfashioned gypsy woman you'll ever meet! I live in Germany and I'm absolutely in love with literature, the early decades of the 1900s, classical movies (and Christoph Waltz, ofc). I also have a huge passion for the circus buisness since I was born into a circus family myself. It's a magical world and even if it's not that modern anymore or especially bc it's NOT that modern, I find it quite fascinating.

It's also one of the reasons why I decided to write for my fav fictional character of all time; Herrn August Rosenbluth - the ringmaster from WFE. My portrayal will be based on the book & movie since I've chosen the actor to be my face claim. (gffjkhg I'm completely smitten by that man but ugh can you blame me???) For everyone who's not familiar with the book/movie - August isn't the kind of person who could be called a protagonist. He knows how to run his buisness but - well, let's say things can get a little bit out of control since he's mentally unstable. (I'm going to post an proper intro so no need to worry if you have no clue about the book/movie). But even though if August is portrayed as an insane man, I'll portray him in a different way means - I'm going to portray him at a point of his life when he decides to change his way of living. (I don't consider him a bad human being. He's a man under a lot of pressure and gosh - people can change so let him try). I did change a couple of details and gave him a background story since the movie & book don't tell much about his past.

Enough about me; I'm really looking forwards for my time around here so...just drop me a line if you like to get in touch. I'm actually not THAT psychotic myself.

Nestled away in the rolling green hills is the town of Penbrier. Penbrier is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone. The center of town flourishes with roses and lilies around the original fountain that stands in the very heart of the town square. For as long as anyone can remember the fountain was said to bring luck to the town and all of its folk. There is a history of wishes coming true at the drop of a penny, romances beginning with confessions by her side, and the belief that prosperity looms in those shallow waters. What luck will you find in the town of Penbrier? Will you find fortune, comfort, or everlasting love? Or will you just be one of the many, just here for a good time (and hopefully a long time)?

Penbrier HQ is a small town 21+ Discord rp centering around characters based on classic literature and theater (from all cultures!) from the beginning of time to 1945. We promote character development based on interactions, and the idea that no character is bound to the rules of their original story.
