[Maim belongs to @bunny-j3st3r !! I just decided to give them an updated design since the [first post] of them and also finally design Cagney!!]
--(info below)--
Cagney was a fellow coworker of Sai (Ferrol's host / @bunny-j3st3r) working alongside them in the field of marine biology studies. However, unlike Sai, Cagney wasn't opposed to performing a little malpractice within their field to get their way and get what they want. These actions had eventually, finally, been discovered and Cagney was promptly fired from their job. Since then, they hold an unbridled vendetta/grudge against Sai for getting them fired.
Some time after Sai & Ferrol met and bonded, Ferrol birthed its second symbiote child, Maim. Main ran off and was far more unruly and mean, cruel, than Matcha, the first born. It found and bonded to Cagney, gaining its name and gaining extra freedom to go a bit crazy and cause chaos.
While Cagney is more of a main villain for Sai/Ferrol, Cagney isn't against the idea of toying with Acedia as a means to get back at Sai in any way they can, seeing as Acedia and Sai are such good friends. (Also an effective way to get Sai to come out and "play" with them)
Cagney and Sai are on opposite ends of the chaotic spectrum, Cagney is evil while Sai is good. Maim, the symbiote, however, is more chaotic neutral. It chooses on its own to leave Cagney on occasion to go off and do its own thing, much to Cagney's distaste. Maim sorta keeps Cagney's evil in check, the two don't often see eye-to-eye or get along.
Cagney & Maim are the Cletus & Carnage of earth-4622!
We're taking a break from our usual Nintendo character posting for some Marvel stuff.
I don't get to draw Cletus Kasady or Shriek much, but I do really love their characters. Also Symbiotes are fun to draw, even if I'm not good at them.
Also I'm a sucker for villain couples lol

Actually I loved how this one turned out and I love the concepts and the symbolism and all that, the movie could've been more edgy but anyways, fanfics exist for a reason 👍
Talking about fanfics xD I made one based on those artworks, you can read it Here.
