Destiny Leo had a look.
“[In overtime] she was giving me a look in the huddle,” Cleveland State head coach Chris Kielsmeier said. “I don’t know what it was, but she gave me a look I had never seen, she was looking right through me. I think it was just ‘coach, give me the ball.’”
“I don’t even know if she knew she was doing it, but man she was staring through me. I don’t know if she was mad at me because I didn’t make the play call quick enough.”
For her part, Leo confirmed the latter explanation, saying that she did give a look after a late play call led to a turnover, but admitted that she didn’t know whether there may have been a second look and didn’t know for sure what her coach was talking about.
Regardless of the specific circumstances, it was the look of a player about to will her team to a 63-60 overtime win over Northern Kentucky in a Horizon League semifinal contest on Monday afternoon at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum.

AL headcanons: since Wisdom Cubes run on cognition, each shipgirl is vaguely influenced by their namesake
This can range between (relatively) on-the-nose cases, i.e. Hunter being... well, a hunter, to something like New Jersey somehow getting 50 pounds of wet spaghetti in your backyard. On complete accident.
(Side note: any ships named after Ohio, Florida, or their respective cities are absolutely deranged. This includes Cleveland, who is normally very good at hiding it... She still gets punted by Vestal twice a month because her (small) rat army keep somehow getting into the medicine cabinets, though)

I'm sure there's some in-context excuse but yknow considering Sol is canonically a queen fan meaning Queen exists in-universe (and presumably also all the bands/musicians they collaborated with) do you think Sol ever has any moments where he wonders why the majority of the people he meets also all happen to be named after bands and singers because it sure is one helluva fucking coincidence
YEAH LMFAO I have wondered that before. At least with Axl him and Sol probably had a conversation about their names since neither Axl Low or Sol Badguy are their birth names, but for everyone else Sol's had to have been curious about it lol
It would be really funny if the in-canon reason for so many characters being named after pre-y2k bands was that sometime between ~2050 and 2170 there was a huge nostalgia thing for all the bands that got lost by the Dawn of Revival/Crusades. Like how whenever a movie or TV show gets really big now, a bunch of people'll name their kid after whoever they liked the most but in GG it was with bands lmfao
Maybe a huge analog archive of old music got discovered somewhere that was mostly intact and it was such a massive win for cultural preservation that everyone went nuts haha
