Stardew Valley mod rec compilation
this is a regular question asked on the discord so I wanted to put together my own constant pack to link.
These are NOT all mods I use. These are the mods I’m **completely confident **in recommending together, that definitely work well, combine well and won’t create any cognitive dissonance.
(Note that I’m not listing any prerequisites. Whichever mod you’re installing, you obviously need to install its prerequisites too)
(Most of these are on Nexus, but not all. MARGO is on GitHub, for example. Search on Nexus first, then duckduckgo or google it if it’s not there)
Utility if-you’re-modding: (mods that maybe won’t improve your game per se and you don’t want to install Just Them if you’re picking and choosing, but if you’re already using other mods, you want to look at these)
Advanced Save Backup (obvious function is obvious, don’t let mod fuckups permanently ruin your save)
Generic Mod Config Menu (absolutely mandatory if you’re installing like… >1 other mod)
CJB Cheats Menu + CJB Item Spawner (the more mods you have the more likely you’ll need this to recover after glitches. There are vanilla bugs you might want this to help you with too)
Jump Over (or noclip, in case you get stuck somewhere)
Mod Update Menu (fully optional, but might be nice)
Quality of Life (mods that I’m completely confident work well together and will improve your game withough particularly changing it. You do want to meddle in config for many of these though. Increase complexity at your own pace)
Action Sitting
After Midnight Speed Buff
Easy Coal
Balanced Quarry
Better Artisan Good Icons
Better Beehouses
Better Chests
Better Ranching (turn off “prevent failed harvesting” in config, add Fix Animal Tool Animations for that functionality instead)
Bigger Backpack
Collapse on Farm Fix
Destroyable Bushes
Gift Rejection
Grass Growth
Horse Overhaul - Immersive Scarecrows
Immersive Sprinklers
Lucky Rabbit’s Foot
Mail Services Mod
MARGO - Tweex, Tools and Ponds modules
Remember Birthdays
Robin Work Hours
Expanded Big Shed
Sturdier Saplings
Time Speed
Zoom Level
Friendship QoL: (I’m putting these into a separate category because they specifically make one thing easier and might be unbalanced together - but if you want lots of custom NPCs they might be necessary as a breath of air)
Part of the Community
Passive Friendship
Friend of a Friend
Visual (This is specifically the combination I use, that I know for a fact works well and looks good together. These are mods that don’t alter any mechanics or add any content and mostly don’t impact balance, they’re purely to make the game look better)
Custom Menu Background
Better Water
Cuter Coops and Better Barns or Coop and Barn Facelift
Darker Vanilla Crops
Darker Vanilla Forage
Dynamic Night Time
Dynamic Reflections
Happy Fish Jump
Iridium Sprinkler Desaturated or Burnished Bronze Iridium Sprinkler
Less Ugly Spouse Rooms
Medieval Buildings
Simple Foliage
Skell’s Flowery Tools
Starry Night Interface (deleted from Nexus)
Vintage Interface (and this if you’re using Bigger Backpack)
Vibrant Pastoral Recolor
Way Back Pelican Town
Wind Effects
Yri’s Modular Flowers
Eemie’s Dark Wood and Gold Craftables - Scarecrow and Rarecrow Recolors - Climates of Ferngill
Swimsuit Selection
Spritemaster, and you can turn off the smoothing just for faster rendering everywhere with no visual changes
Dialogue + NPCs (Thoroughly vetted - exclusively the mods that don’t create any contradictory lore, fit fully with vanilla, and might make you feel like vanilla was always intended to be this way)
Dusty Overhaul
Community Wednesdays and Community Center Reimagined
David the Hamster
Demetrius Visits Farm Cave Redux
Diverse Stardew Valley
the ethnic wedding outfit collection (Emily Ukrainian Wedding Dress and others with the same naming scheme, entering “wedding” into search is a good way to find these)
Haley Reads Magazines (plug of my own mod)
Immersive Spouses
Jean and Jorts
Social Haley
Unlikely Friends
Immersive Sandy
Make the game more fun (This is a fairly diverse category - these are the mods that will substantially alter the game and give it a decidedly non-vanilla feel and balance, but that I’m willing to vouch for as fun, non-conflicting, non-glitchy and not making your life harder. Some of them are smaller than others)
Walk to Desert Redux
Archery + Archery starter pack
Artista
Cape Stardew
Cat gifts
Deep Woods
Farmhouse visits
Festival of the Mundane
Hot Spring Farm Cave (or another farm cave mod)
If It Fits I Sits
Improved Cindersap Forest (plug of my own mod)
Like a Duck to Water
Lost in the Mountains (or another custom farm map mod) (plug of my own mod)
MARGO - Combat, Professions and Taxes modules
Stardew Druid
Swim Mod
Wren’s Expanded Greenhouse (or another greenhouse mod)
Animals Need Water
Even More Secret Woods
NPC Adventures (and content packs for it)
Map Editor Extended
Free Love pack (This is for the people who think SV is nice in allowing the player to date multiple people, but unnecessarily restrictive in allowing them to only marry one of them. I’m putting other romance/marriage/parenthood mods in this category also) necessary: (these are the mods you need to make a multi-spouse household function smoothly, period. Need extensive configuring, usually, so pay attention when you install them)
Bed Tweaks
Custom Spouse Patio Redux (this one can glitch, but Map Editor Extended has fixed it for me fine every time)
Custom Spouse Rooms
Free Love
Wedding Tweaks optional: (these are the mods that can substantially improve your personal life if you’re into them, but Free Love functions fine without them)
Platonic Partners and Friendships
Bachelors and Bachelorettes stay friends
Fourteen Heart Events for All
Gender Neutrality Mod
Not In Here By Yourself (plug of my own mod)
Hugs and Kisses
Multiple Spouse Dialogs (+Tia’s and Liliet’s packs for it) (plug of my own mod uwu)
Planned Parenthood
Swimsuit Selection
Unique Children
Unique Children Talk - T’s Spouse Room

WELCOME TO THE FERNGILL REGION !
The people of Stardew Valley have been living alongside Pokémon for as long as the valley itself has existed. While a handful of Pelipper Town’s residents have taken up Pokémon training as a hobby, many of them are content to simply enjoy the company of their Pokémon and leave the battling to those more suited.
Not only is the valley teeming with Pokémon, it also has some of the most fertile soil in all the region. Crops grow faster in Stardew Valley than anywhere else in Ferngill, which makes the area ideal for farming. Just ask Winnie Foster, Pelipper Town’s resident farmer.
After moving in from the city to take over her grandfather’s old farm, Winnie’s worked hard to turn the neglected land into a prosperous and thriving homestead. She doesn’t do much battling herself, save for a few special occasions, but she does enlist the help of Pokémon to help her perform various tasks around the farm.
In Ferngill, Stardew Valley especially, everything revolves around the changing of the seasons. The Pokémon who live there are particularly sensitive to changes in the weather, and once the climate starts shifting, many will migrate or go into hibernation. As a result, most of the Pokémon in the valley can only be found during a specific season. Spring has no shortage of bug and grass types, for example, while Fall has an abundance of ghost and dark types.
Despite the sheer number of Pokémon that call the valley home, Pelipper town isn’t big or notable enough to have any gyms, especially with it’s fairly remote location. This hasn’t stopped the Joja Corporation from setting up one of their chain poké marts in the area, though. Morris, their Admin, might seem amiable enough on the surface... But there may be something more sinister hidden underneath that retail smile.
The best berries in Ferngill are grown in Stardew Valley, and the best berries in Stardew Valley are grown on Foster’s Farm. You’d be hard pressed to find tastier fruits & veggies anywhere else, but crops aren’t the only thing Winnie is known for. It is said that because of the strong bonds she forms with her Pokémon, all pokeproducts produced on Winnie’s farm are always of the highest quality. Her wooloos always produce the softest wool, her combees always produce the sweetest honey, and her miltanks always produce the most refreshing moomoo milk.
Winnie was not a trainer initially, opting instead to focus on tending to her farm. However, after spending some time with the other trainers in the village, she eventually tried it out on a whim. She quickly developed a talent for battle, and the rumor among Pelipper Town’s residents is that she may even be on par with the valley’s strongest trainer. Thanks to her work with Pokémon on the farm, Winnie has also gained some impressive physical strength of her own. She may be somewhat reluctant to accept challengers, but should she choose to accept, know that she’ll have no intention of going easy on you. Despite her fierceness in battle, however, she will always heal her opponent’s Pokémon afterwards.

Gonna make a fanon city in Stardew Valley based on my hometown just for the hell of it (under a readmore so I don't clog the tag)
I'm not the best at worldbuilding but here we go:
North of Pelican Town and east of Zuzu City is Ostori Town, a small rural community that's slowly becoming urbanized due to the influence of major businesses (coughJojacough). While the population is certainly larger than Pelican Town, it is nowhere near the size of Zuzu City. On average, 5,000 people call this town home every year (my hometown is actually at about a population of 13,000 but that seemed too big so I downsized a bit). The climate is similar to the midwest of the United States; warm summers and frigid winters, with moderate rain throughout spring and fall. The most common natural disasters that happen here are flash floods, thunderstorms, and tornadoes.
The economy is mostly sustained through agriculture, although manufacturing is a close second. Factories are commonly found within the more urbanized districts (most notably the Downtown district), ranging from automotive parts to textiles. Popular supply chains have rooted themselves near the factories, chasing out local competition. Some family-owned shops do thrive, however, simply out of pure spite from the owners and the community.
Entertainment wise, there's... Not much to do in Ostori Town. Unless you're into nature walks through the park or taking photography of wildlife, your next best bet is the pubs and bars.
One thing Ostori Town is famous for is the sheer number of trains that pass through every day; at peak hours you could count at least 100 trains from all over the Ferngill Republic (and once in a blue moon the Gotoro Empire). Every year the town hosts the Rail Festival, on the 3rd of fall (this is an actual event! The past few times I went it was hosted on the last week of September, once even on my birthday, and it was honestly really fun!!). Train enthusiasts, locally and internationally, gather at the Iron Triangle, a rail park that earned its name from the shape three intersecting tracks made. The history of trains is shown and explained here, and a functional 1800s steam engine is paraded through the park; a handful of lucky people win a raffle that allow them to get a ride in the engine. There's also a subsection of the festival dedicated to making model trains, and you can even buy supplies so you can build your own little train town (not everything is accurate to the real Rail Festival, I took some creative liberties. However the model train part is mostly true, I bought some tiny trees and got an enamel conductor's pin there).
There is a public school system here; there are two schools split into kindergarten-6th grade and 7th-12th grade. The high school gridball team is called the Conductors (haha trains), and a famous athlete calls Ostori High his alma mater. There is a visual arts and performing arts department, which aren't well-known due to being overshadowed by sports (hiss), but the marching band is the pride and joy of the school, second only to the gridball team.
Both my farmersona Lychee and their older cousin Kien are Ostorians; born and raised in Ostori Town until they both moved to Pelican Town.

docharvard’s stardew mega modlist v.2
Tumblr media
howdy doody everyboody!
my last modlist did pretty well with regards to notes, but there have been some major changes to both stardew and my modlist since then, so i thought it was high time i made a new one! once again, this is mostly graphical overhauls, with a few gameplay tweaks and cheats here and there. most of these mods are fairly popular, so chances are you would already know them, but i hope this compilation finds its use anyway. now, without further ado, the list starts under the cut!
one final warning before i proceed, as of today 21st of February 2020, some of these mod’s official releases do not work with Stardew 1.4.5, but they do have unofficial patches floating around on the forums that update them to work with this patch, and i will be linking to those instead of the official releases for those mods (you will need a chucklefish forums account to download them). if you see this in a few months or weeks time from when it is posted, it is probably in your best interests to check the official releases for updates.
ENGINES/PRE REQS most of, if not all, the mods on this list will require some combination of the following engines to run. i know nothing about coding, so i cannot give an apt description of what they do or how they work, but trust me, you will need them. if you don’t download all of the mods in this list, you might not need all of them, check the requirements segment on a mods nexus page to see which of these engines you will need to run it.
SMAPI - SMAPI is the modding API for Stardew, necessary for all modding (besides old xnb mods).
Content Patcher
Custom Critters
Json Assets
Mail Framework Mod
More Grass
PyTK
SpaceCore
TMXL Map Toolkit
QUALITY OF LIFE mods that don’t change the game significantly, but slightly improve the base mechanics to make it easier/better.
Auto Animal Doors - automatically opens all barn and coop doors at a set time every morning, and closes it once all animals are back inside at night.
Big Silo - increases the hay capacity of silos to around 200k.
Casks Everywhere - gives the player the ability to put casks anywhere, instead of only in the basement of the house.
Crop Transplant - gives the player the ability to move crops and trees without destroying them.
Mod Update Menu - puts a handy-dandy extra button on the main menu that shows you your modlist and whether any mods are out of date. clicking on a mod in the list will take you to its web page, if you want to download the updated version. (sometimes, like SMAPIs console, it is wrong. occasionally will tell you a mod is out of date when it isn’t, but is more often right than wrong.)
No Crows - removes crows, no more losing crops to those thieving corvid so-and-so’s.
No Fence Decay - fences no longer decay and break down over time. they stand for time immeasurable, like the monolith in space odyssey, or the empty shell of a blockbuster video.
Safe Lightning - lightning will only strike lightning rods, or if none are available, it will not strike at all.
Stack Everything - gives the player the ability to stack every item in the game, items like casks can now be stacked instead of having a 1:1 ratio in inventory/chest space.
UI Info Suite - ui overhaul(ish) that adds things like being able to see if you’ve pet an animal that day, whether the travelling merchant is in town, what your luck is for the day, or how many days a crop/keg has until it’s finished, etc. this mod is a must have for any playthrough, even if you’re going completely vanilla. possibly the most useful mod that exists for stardew.
GAME TWEAKS things that add mechanics or change gameplay. immersion (i don’t know what else to call it)
Babies Take After Spouse - makes your children actually look like the offspring of your chosen spouse. also adds some more outfits for toddlers, if you’re into that.
Canon Friendly Dialogue Expansion - adds a metric buttload of new dialogue for all of the friendable characters, in case you’re sick of seeing the same four sentences on loop.
Cat Gifts - bit of a misnomer, makes your pet (either cat or dog) occasionally bring you gifts of random items. it’s pretty darn cute.
Climates of Ferngill - expands the games weather system, as well as tweaking the original one, to add new things like fog, and weather that changes over the span of a day instead of being one set thing.
Eemie’s Bees - adds bees! they hang around your beehives! very cute!
Lunar Disturbances - adds a rad lunar system to the game, including an overhead moon that goes through phases. also adds stuff like eclipses and blood moons.
Mizu’s Flowers - adds so many new flowers to the game. frankly, it’s quite homophobic how few variations are in the base game.
Oasis Greenhouse - completely reworks the greenhouse to be way bigger (on the inside, it doesn’t take up more space on the actual farm) and have more rooms in which to do greenhouse things, like spots to grow trees.
Seasonal Villager Outfits - stardew residents will now change clothes on the reg, including during different events, depending on the weather, and with the seasons.
Slime Hutch Winery - retextures the slime hutch to look Not Garbage, and adds a customisable inside space that you can combine with Casks Everywhere to make a usable winery.
cheats there is only one mod in this section but i couldn’t figure out what other section to put it in.
CJB Cheats Menu - it’s a cheats menu. for cheating. amongst normal cheaty things like infite health and stamina, gives you the ability to increase your movement speed, and harvest crops with a scythe, which i find immensely useful.
AESTHETIQUE who needs the orignal graphics when you’ve got soft pastel versions? most of these are by elle, aka junimods. she’s good at aesthetic overhauls, sue me.
Bathroom Replaces Spouse Room - replaces the spouse room with one of three nicer looking bathrooms, in case your spouse has decided to have an unchangeable hideous colour scheme that does not go with the rest of your house, like all of them do.
Better Artisan Goods - retextures the artisan goods (milk, cheese, fruits, etc) to look prettier/more accurate.
Elle’s Cat Replacements - highly customisable cat retexture, including fur patterns, and the colour of its collar.
Elle’s Critter and Butterfly Replacements - retextures the little critters and butterflies that hang around the valley.
Elle’s Dog Replacements - same as the cat replacements but for dogs. the nomenclature is difficult to grasp, i know.
Elle’s New Barn Animals - retextures of all the barn animals, with a whole bunch of customisation options to choose from for each.
Elle’s New Coop Animals - same as the barn animals one. shocker.
Elle’s Seasonal Buildings - highly customisable retexture of all the buildings on the farm. pick from a bunch of designs and colour palettes to make your farm the best representation of you it can be. or don’t, i’m not your dad, i can’t tell you what to do.
Flippsie’s Alternative Lamp Posts - retextures lamp posts to look a little more victorian and aesthetic-y.
Garden Variety UI - customisable ui colours! let’s you customise the look of all the menus, inventory bar, etc, from a buuuunch of different colours and designs.
Industrial Kitchen and Interior - retextures the kitchen appliances and benches to a softer aesthetic.
Starblue Valley - reshades the whoooole of stardew to make it colour gooder. greens are more green, blues are more blue, and the whole game looks a lot less yellow and harsh. much softer and easier on the eyes.
Wildflower Grass Field - retextures and adds a bunch of variation to the grass that grows around the valley. instead of one grass texture everywhere, there is now over 50 possible combinations, really makes the whole place look much more realistic and varied.
Yellog’s Wood Craftables - retextures and redesigns the craftables (chests, beehives, kegs, cheese press, etc) to have a softer palette, with a rustic wooden aesthetic.
and that’s that folks! i also use these two harvey dialogue expansion packs, but that’s because he’s my favourite bachelor, so i kept them off the general list. i hope y'all found this modlist useful, sorry it took me so long to get around to making/updating it. thank you so much for all the followers on this newer sideblog of mine, it’s really cool to see other people enjoying a game that i love so much. catch y'all on the flipside! ^-^

punkesweet’s stardew mega-modlist
Tumblr media
howdy doody everyboody! i’ve spent way too much time on stardew valley *cough* 200 hours *cough*, and i thought i’d give back to the community by making a modlist for the mods i use. mostly graphical overhauls and small tweaks here and there, and most of these are pretty popular so you’ve probably already heard of them, but hey it’s whatever. the list starts under the cut! engines/pre-reqs most, if not all, these mods require some combination of these engines to run. i know nothing about coding so i can’t give apt descriptors of exactly what these do or why they’re needed, but they are.
Content Patcher
Custom Critters
Json Assets
SMAPI - SMAPI is the modding API for Stardew, necessary for all modding (besides old xnb mods).
PyTK
quality of life mods that don’t super duper mess with the game, but just slight improvements or changes to the original General
BigSilo - Increases the silo capacity for hay storage to around 200k per silo.
CasksAnywhere - Allows casks to be placed and used anywhere (this can sometimes interact weirdly with other mods that add new locations).
Stack Everything - Allows normally unstackable objects (eg. casks) to be stacked, saving on inventory and storage space.
Starblue Valley - Redoes some of the colouring and filters. Blues are bluer, greens are greener, and the whole game looks a lot less yellow and harsh.
game tweaks things that add mechanics or change/expand gameplay Immersion (i guess?)
catGifts - Misleading title, dogs also have the same effect. Pets will occasionally leave you items.
Climates of Ferngill - Expands the weather system, adding custom weather like fog, as well as tweaking the original weather system.
Happy Birthday - Allows the player to set a birthday for themselves, on which npcs will give them gifts and wish them happy birthday.
Lunar Disturbances - Adds an overhead moon and a lunar cycle to the game, with some parts of the cycle affecting gameplay.
Gameplay
Mizu’s Flowers - Adds more flowers, because let’s be real, it’s frankly homophobic that there are only 8 types in the base game.
More Trees - Adds more trees (and by extension more fruits and wines).
Canon Friendly Dialogue Expansion - More dialogue babey! Ever get tired of hearing the same 4 things over and over? Well be tired no more, you’ll now hear 9 things over and over. Or 1500+ I guess, but who’s counting.
Places/Buildings
Oasis Greenhouse - Expands the greenhouse to have an even grid, as well as adding a basement and location to plant trees.
Slime Hutch Winery - Replaces the (let’s be honest, functionally useless) slime hutch with a winery! It’s customisable so you can have a cool looking bar, or work it in conjunction with CasksAnywhere to have a secondary basement-thing.
Spouse Rooms Redesigned - Redesigns the spouse rooms to be a little more aesthetically pleasing and reflect your spouse more (this does interact weirdly if you change the flooring of your house).
aesthetique™ we all know that the most important part of any game is making it look as good as possible, stardew is no exception. most of these are done by elle aka @junimods, who is a goddess at designing cute stuff. Animals
Elle’s New Barn Animals - Redesigns barn animals to look cuter (customisable).
Elle’s New Coop Animals - Redesigns coop animals to look cuter (customisable).
Elle’s Cat Replacements - Redesigns the cat to look cuter (customisable).
Elle’s Dog ReplacementsI - Redesigns the dog to look cuter (customisable).
Elle’s Critter and Butterfly Replacements - Redesigns the little squirrels that run into trees and butterflies that flap around to be cuter.
Eemie’s Bees - Adds bees! Who doesn’t love bees!
Buildings
Elle’s Seasonal Buildings - Redesigns for alllll the farm buildings, including the house, barns, coops, etc.
Items
Fence - Redesigns wooden fences to be cute little rope/dark wood fences.
Fippsie’s Alternative Lamp Posts - Redesigns lamp posts.
Kawaii HatsI - Replaces all the hats with cuter versions/new hats. Who doesn’t love having bows in their hair.
Yellog’s Wood Craftables - Redesigns all craftable objects (i.e. furnaces, chests, cheese makers, beehives, etc.) to fit one nice aesthetic.
General
Ali’s Flower Grass - Replaces grass with a prettier, greener, flowery-er grass. Probably my favourite mod tbh.
Babies Take After Spouse - Retextures your little chiddlers to look more like your spouses offspring than a random child you definitely didn’t kidnap. Also adds more clothes for your toddlers if you’re into that.
Garden Variety UI - Overhauls UI to look more aesthetically appealing. Customisable by choosing from a variety of colours.
cheatsy doodles most of these aren’t quite cheats because i don’t play that way, but they’re like, cheat adjacent.
AutoAnimalDoors - Animal doors automatically open and close at a set time every morning and night.
CJB Cheats Menu - It’s a cheats menu. Allows you to change movement speed, pause time, instantly grow crops, change heart levels, etc. Cheat menu stuff, y’know.
No Crows - No more pesky crows eating your crops.
No Fence Decay - Removes fence decay.
Tree Transplant - Adds the option to move trees the same way one would move buildings, by visiting the carpenter (instead of having to cut them down and replant).
UI Info Suite - Honestly a must have, even if you do everything else vanilla. Adds functions such as being able to see how long a crop has left to grow by hovering over it, whether or not you’ve interacted with an animal, the ability to check the calendar/community centre from your inventory, keep track of whether you’ve given an npc gifts that week, track npc’s on the map, etc. The best mod everrrrrrr.
and that’s that folks! i also have a handful of harvey dialogue expansions because he is and forever will be the best, but i decided to omit them in order to give this list a more widely applicable experience.

Hello dear nonny and thank you for your interest in Aurora Farm! ♡ Even though I’ve made this save file for SV 1.2, most mods *should* still work! The witchy/magical aesthetic for this one was very dear to me and I’m really happy to share it. Note: Back in the times of Aurora Farm I used most mods as XNB mods since CP wasn’t a thing there, so I linked you to the CP versions instead now, hope this is okay for you! ꒰•̤▿•̤*ૢ꒱

🌟 Stardew Mods #2: For the Long Haul 🌟
This mod masterpost will be featuring mods that are meant to help keep gameplay fresh as you rack up hours on your farm! You can pick and choose when to install the mods based on what makes sense to you, but I recommend using most of these once you’ve played 1-2 years on your farm. Enjoy!
Essentials:
SMAPI - needed to run Stardew Valley mods
Content Patcher - needed to run all mods that require Content Patcher
Json Assets - needed to run some of these particular mods, namely those that add new crops and recipes to the game
SpaceCore - needed to run some of these mods, namely those that add new crops and recipes to the game
🌟 Longevity - Aims to give the game more longevity by reducing farming profits, increasing prices for profitable seeds, making crops sold out-of-season more valuable, and introducing taxes and bills
🌟 Stardew Valley Dialogue Expansion - Adds about 1800 new lines of dialogue across all 33 characters who have a heart level
🌟 Weather Illnesses - Adds stamina drains in severe weather, such as blizzards, storms, and heat waves (Note: I highly recommend using this along with the Climates of Ferngill mod!)
🌟 Help Wanted Quest Fixes - Unlocks more variety and adds customization for the "Help Wanted" quests on the town bulletin board
🌟 Fruits and Veggies - Adds 45 new fruit and vegetable crops to your game, such as carrots, ginger, onions, spinach, and tea!
🌟 More Trees (Fruits and Veggies) - Adds 30 new growable tree varieties to your game, such as cocoa, fig, pear and vanilla trees!
🌟 More Food (Fruits and Veggies) - Adds 65 new recipes to your game to go along with the new crops! Cook things like avocado toast, sweet potato fries, and various tea blends!
🌟 Even More Recipes - Adds 109 new recipes to your game! Now you can bake cheesecake, rich tiramisu, lavender donuts, and waffles!
🌟 Mizus Flowers - Adds 17 new flowers to the game, such as seasonal roses, herbal lavender, and chamomile!
🌟 Artisan Valley - Adds 20 new artisan machines and over 150 new items. Use the oil maker to make essential oils out of flowers, the glass jar to brew tea and mushroom kombucha, and the butter churn to make milk and nut butters!
Extras:
Fantasy Crops - Adds a few fantasy-style crops
Farmer to Florist - Adds 21 new flowers and lots of new craftables
Starbrew Valley - Adds 65 new alcoholic beverage recipes
X - Extreme Difficulty for Stardew Valley
🌟 Warnings under the read more! 🌟
Warnings:
Be sure to read the mod descriptions carefully so you can make sure that:
You install the necessary dependencies before adding them to your game - the essentials I listed cover some of the more common but not all of the dependencies for these mods
The mod won’t conflict with any other mods you’re running
The mod is updated to work with the latest version of SMAPI
Removing some of these mods, especially the crop and recipe mods, without taking proper precautions can cause your game to crash. Be sure to read the uninstallation instructions before removing these mods
Some of these mods are buggy or incompatible with multiplayer. I recommend checking out the bug report and comments sections for these mods so you can make yourself aware of any existing issues or conflicts

ashreecar’s SDV Mods Masterlist
okay so like Stardew Valley is my favorite game in the world. I can play it over and over and over again and I will never get tired of it - its probably to the point that my love for this game is annoying to my friends BUT WHATEVER.
So I play the vanilla version of SDV on my switch and I play a ridiculously modded version on my PC. After playing through my PC version, I decided that it was about time I actually made a masterlist of all my mods so bear with me... there’s a lot
Let’s start with some rules of like SDV modding:
Firstly, I would say to avoid xnb mods buuuuuuuuuuuut you’ll see later on that I don’t >>  but really I would try to avoid using these as much as possible since they can be a hassle
Secondly, YOU NEED SMAPI OMG DO U NEED SMAPI and it needs to stay updated. ALWAYS.
Thirdly, YOU ALSO basically need to use Content Patcher bc a lot of those old aesthetically-pleasing xnb mods you want to use are now a content pack!! (Use the stardew valley wiki’s modding compatibility xnb list to find unofficial updates for these [link]
Fourthly, back up all ur main game files - you know just in case.
Fifthly, if the mods are making ur game too slow or is too much for ur computer to handle then... just play the vanilla version of the game! ITS FUN FFS I only started modding my PC game after I had completed the community center, gotten married and had one kid lol sorry i didn’t want another kiddo
Sixthly, if you need help, go ask the modding community in the stardew discord - they’re super nice people and a lot of them are like the og modders. they’re like literally amazing.
I can’t think of anymore like “rules” per se but you get the gist.
