Hello Clown Husbandry Tumblr, I would like to introduce you all to my boys

These are Hammer (yellow) and Franklin (purple)

They're siblings, however, Franklin is the older of the two.

They're from a rehome/rescue situation, and this is my first pair of clowns, so I'm really not entirely sure how to properly care for them.

I'm also unsure of their breed? My best guess is that they're mixes, but I'd love some expert insight!

Gamzee Makara is so fucking cute🥺 

He’s so sloppy and messy and he always tries his best. Sure he was born into a society literally brought into existence just to torment him and his friends and half of his soul belongs to pure evil because a bratty kid saw his sister’s fanart and decided to bring them to life just to kill them off and the only way to fend off the control over his soul is to fall deeper into his drug addiction...😶

But he’s a good kid underneath all of that😔 He’s so nice to his friends even when they don’t appreciate him and are really mean to him sometimes. His friends literally tell him that his gods are fake every time they talk to him and he still gives everyone a chance😊 So forgiving, so kind, so clowney🤡 Most of his training was just on being a clown, juggling, riding a unicycle; it’s implied in his introduction that all of the old purple blood murder rituals have been limited more or less to metaphor by his era! He could’ve been and in my heart is, best boy.🤗 The way he thinks so optimistically and is always ready to lounge around and relax with just about anyone😄

😲What? How is his personality unpleasant?🤨 My man is literally just a lonely religious kid who loves his friends😤 Even Terezi felt bad for him! Hell she would’ve been a better moirail than Karkat, at least she’d apply the right amount of pressure and actually pities him.🙄 

 To set something straight😑; I don’t excuse his abusive behavior in that horrible kismesissitude😟🤢 but I do think it’s important to consider how people come to adapt certain abusive behaviors.🤔 You know, like drug withdrawal and demon possession and realizing that your life is a lie and that no matter what you do you’re reality will end horribly at the hands of your own gods who are also you and no one in your life really cares about you the way you care about them 🙃

Gamzee was playing a platonic moirallegiance for his whole friend group and nobody gave a fuck😡- nobody cared until he came to realize and believe that his whole reality was a joke, that the tragic life he lead was actually a comedy🎭. Only after his will was completely broken and he was content with the destruction of his world, with the death of his friends who cared so little about him, that’s when people took him seriously😔

My boy deserves a redemption arch 😩 A real one!!!😫

I took Georgie to a clown-friendly library, and he made a new friend!

His name is Pringles! Georgie is usually super shy but the two little clowns were able to easily bond over joke telling and doing flips. I’m so glad he was able to meet Pringles!! Hopefully they can play together again soon!
