Public service announcement!
If you see a service/emotional support clown in public, DO NOT INTERACT!! I’m tired of hearing story after story from my friends about how someone was distracting their service clown. If they have a vest on they’re working, end of story! Don’t try to get them to honk, show you a magic trick, and especially don’t try to feed them. Just pretend like they’re not there. Thank you

God I hate how media represents scare clowns...
The way they are shown on TV and in books make people so waerie of them and because of that they end up on the street and in kill shelters.
I have a Party/Scary mix that took most of her appearance (colors, markings, size, clothing style) and general demeanor (she is very friendly and happy to play and preform once she knows someone well enough) from her Party clown side, but got the diet (raw meat and bones) and sharp teeth of her Scary side and so people are so quick to love her when they first meet here but then go screaming that she needs to be put down when I go to feed her and they see her eat raw meat with very pointy teeth.
Meanwhile, they and their kid has been playing with her all day with no issues! Looking at you Aunt Karen. I don't want your snot nosed crotch goblin near Lollie-pop anyway.

Hello, hoping I can get some advice.
I recently saw something odd when looking through some clown adoption ads on Facebook Marketplace. Not looking to adopt at this time but was just looking at local breeders in the area.
I came across someone claiming to be selling a pure bread Bard, no crosses, not mixed at all, pure bread 16th century clothing wearing bard. Complete with a Lute and what looked like handmade parchment. With pictures to prove it.
I was wondering if there has been some kind of mistake in my presentation of clown species. I was under the impression that Bards had largely gone extinct or have been cross bread with other species into non identifiable subspecies. If anyone has any insight on the topic I would love to hear it.

Hello!
I made this blog after I found this little guy just outside my house :D
Tumblr media
I've named her Lemonade and she she seems to be doing fine living on Peanuts and cotton candy so far.
I want to find out if there's anything else she needs but I can't seem to find what kind of Clown she is. Can anyone here help me identifying it?

Hey, so I've been looking into clowns for a little while, and I'm planning on getting one when I move out, but I still can't find a lot of information out there about them, and I want to make sure if I'll be able to take care of them properly
I want to maybe see if I'm able to get a jester-mime crossbreed, and a purebred scare clown (of the evil variety if I can) but I don't know if those two types would be able to cohabitate. If they can't I was also looking into getting a jester-scare clown crossbreed.
I am unfortunately not able to find a lot of info about how to care for these specific types of clown, and I definitely dont want to get one if I'm unable to properly care for it :(
I know that mimes are mostly carnivorous, but there's not much about the diet of a crossbreed, and it's the same with scare clowns too!
If anyone can help that would be wonderful!

Hi, I recently adopted my first rodeo clown but he keeps rejecting everything I feed him.
I've tried chicken fried steak, rocky mountain oysters, as well as more clown paleo (food that closely resembles what their ancestors ate) options like cow pies and barbed wire, but he keels rejecting everything.
I keep him in a free range rodeo arena populated with various bulls and goats to tease, and bring him to local rodeo tournaments to enrich him.
Am I doing anything wrong???

Anyone know how to stop a clown biting? Zipp likes to nip other clowns and smaller animals, and I really don't want to muzzle him. He's never really hurt anyone, but he's part railroad and you know how people get about the wilder breeds. Any advice appreciated!

hello! my friend and I are thinking of adopting a clown together. we are new to the hobby so I was wondering if you had any recommendations for beginner breeds? we would prefer something small. thanks!
Hello there!
Now this may be a basic answer but if you're looking for something small and beginner friendly I recommend a Porcelain Teacup, which is what breed Topaz is.
They're very popular and not hard to find, I have a post somewhere on my blog (I can't find it right now unfortunately sorry) on where I got my clowns, basically you can find them on eBay and Etsy with relative ease, but they can also be found at some thrift stores and local clown shelters.
Hope this helps and that you're able to find the perfect clown for the both of you!

Saw this specimen today at a clown shelter in Portland. I asked the employee what breed it was, and they said they're a miniature jester/freak show hybrid. However, they seemed unsure. I guess the shelter staff wouldn't necessarily be well-versed in clown breeds.
They were around half a meter tall, or about 1.5 feet tall. Their hair was a radiant orange, their nose a crismon color, and their clothing was yellow, cyan, and bubblegum pink. The stripes on their arms and legs were deep purple and orange. The symbols on their shoes are card suits. Hope these details help someone recognize this breed!

Taking Laz to the clown doctor for his yearly checkup, and it’s raining so bad that his whole clown shoe is filled with water. I now have a very upset clown.

I forgot to add this in the last post but I got the picture that the vets took of her!
She really hates cameras for some reason so the only way they got this was promising a treat afterwards.
Does anyone know what breed she is?
Look at that hair!!

Hey Clownblr! I'm back with another question!
I think I saw a clown hiding in a haunted house? I don't know what breed it is but it's a rather big mansion and seems abandoned. Is this safe for the clown? Should I call someone about this? Who should I call?

Clowning on the peasants: ep.2
A young harlequin peers out eir window. Tire skids wet with red remains decorate the street corner below eir apartment. The scream ey heard belonged to eir father.
Herbal-Pot: (scrambling for eir phone and dialing 911): Dispatch! DISPATCH! Can you hear me for fucks sake!
Grenda: Yes we can hear you. Please remain calm.
Herbal-Pot: My father was just ran the fuck over! Remain fucking calm? I will spread your fucking brains across some fucking toast like there was a sale on mediocre jams at trader fucking joes!
Grenda: Ok, where are you?
Herbal-Pot: The corner of twenty-sixth and sterling. His names Honey. Honey-Pot. And Ill tell ya that no good Marlianne better be the first on your shit list
