1.
This is the secret of the Holy Graal, that is the sacred vessel of our Lady the Scarlet Woman, Babalon the Mother of Abominations, the bride of Chaos, that rideth upon our Lord the Beast.
2.
Thou shalt drain out thy blood that is thy life into the golden cup of her fornications.
3.
Thou shalt mingle thy life with the universal life. Thou shalt keep not back one drop.
4.
Then shall thy brain be dumb, and thy heart beat no more, and all thy life shall go from thee; and thou shalt be cast out upon the midden, and the birds of the air shall feast upon thy flesh, and thy bones shall whiten in the sun.
5.
Then shall the winds gather themselves together, and bear thee up as it were a little heap of dust in a sheet that hath four corners, and they shall give it unto the guardians of the abyss.
6.
And because there is no life therein, the guardians of the abyss shall bid the angels of the winds pass by. And the angels shall lay thy dust in the City of the Pyramids, and the name thereof shall be no more.
7.
Now therefore that thou mayest achieve this ritual of the Holy Graal, do thou divest thyself of all thy goods.
8.
Thou hast wealth; give it unto them that have need thereof, yet no desire toward it.
9.
Thou hast health; slay thyself in the fervour of thine abandonment unto Our Lady. Let thy flesh hang loose upon thy bones, and thine eyes glare with thy quenchless lust unto the Infinite, with thy passion for the Unknown, for Her that is beyond Knowledge the accursèd one.
10.
Thou hast love; tear thy mother from thine heart, and spit in the face of thy father. Let thy foot trample the belly of thy wife, and let the babe at her breast be the prey of dogs and vultures.
11.
For if thou dost not this with thy will, then shall We do this despite thy will. So that thou attain to the Sacrament of the Graal in the Chapel of Abominations.
12.
And behold! if by stealth thou keep unto thyself one thought of thine, then shalt thou be cast out into the abyss for ever; and thou shalt be the lonely one, the eater of dung, the afflicted in the Day of Be-with-Us.
13.
Yea! verily this is the Truth, this is the Truth, this is the Truth. Unto thee shall be granted joy and health and wealth and wisdom when thou art no longer thou.
14.
Then shall every gain be a new sacrament, and it shall not defile thee; thou shalt revel with the wanton in the market-place, and the virgins shall fling roses upon thee, and the merchants bend their knees and bring thee gold and spices. Also young boys shall pour wonderful wines for thee, and the singers and the dancers shall sing and dance for thee.
15.
Yet shalt thou not be therein, for thou shalt be forgotten, dust lost in dust.
16.
Nor shall the æon itself avail thee in this; for from the dust shall a white ash be prepared by Hermes the Invisible.
17.
And this is the wrath of God, that these things should be thus.
18.
And this is the grace of God, that these things should be thus.
19.
Wherefore I charge you that ye come unto me in the Beginning; for if ye take but one step in this Path, ye must arrive inevitably at the end thereof.
20.
This Path is beyond Life and Death; it is also beyond Love; but that ye know not, for ye know not Love.
21.
And the end thereof is known not even unto Our Lady or to the Beast whereon She rideth; nor unto the Virgin her daughter nor unto Chaos her lawful Lord; but unto the Crowned Child is it known? It is not known if it be known.
22.
Therefore unto Hadit and unto Nuit be the glory in the End and the Beginning; yea, in the End and the Beginning

(XXXVII) Those Who Stand Together (الصافات Aṣ-Ṣāffāt) Meccan
CLXXXII And praise to God, Lord of the universe.
CLXXXI And peace upon the emissaries.
CLXXX Glory to your Lord, Lord of Power, transcending whatever they describe.
CLXXIX and watch, for they will see.
CLXXVIII So avoid them for a while,
CLXXVII When it descends into their arena, then miserable the morning for those who were warned.
CLXXVI Is it Our punishment they seek to hasten?
CLXXV and observe them; for they will see.
CLXXIV So avoid them for a while,
CLXXIII and that Our forces would be triumphant.
CLXXII assuring them they were assisted,
CLXXI Our word has already gone out to Our servants sent as emissaries before,
CLXX they reject it; and they will find out—
CLXIX “we would certainly have been sincere devotees of God,”
CLXVIII “If only we had instruction from the ancients,
CLXVII Even though there have been those who do say,
CLXVI “and we are those who are always glorifying God.”
CLXV “and we are those who stand together, ranged in ranks,
CLXIV “And there is none among us but has a determined place,
CLXIII any but those who actively leap into hellfire.
CLXII cannot seduce away from God
CLXI for you and what you worship
CLX —excepting the sincere devotees of God;
CLIX Glory to God, transcendent beyond whatever they assert
CLVIII They also impute a kinship between God and the sprites, though the sprites themselves do know they are surely subject to the summons.
CLVII Then produce your scripture, if you are telling the truth.
CLVI Or have you authoritative evidence?
CLV Won’t you reflect?
CLIV What is the matter with you? How do you judge?
CLIII God has chosen daughters over sons?
CLII God has begotten children? They are certainly liars!
CLI Isn’t it from their own falsehood that they say
CL Or have We created the angels female, with them as witnesses?
CXLIX Now ask them their opinion: does your Lord have daughters, while they have sons?
CXLVIII and they believed, so We let them live for a while.
CXLVII and We sent him as a messenger to a hundred thousand or more,
CXLVI and We caused a gourd vine to grow over him,
CXLV But We threw him onto a wasteland, ailing;
CXLIV he would have remained inside its guts until the day they are resurrected.
CXLIII If not for the fact that he was one who glorified God,
CXLII Then the whale swallowed him, and he was blameworthy.
CXLI he cast lots, and was condemned.
CXL When he fled to the loaded ship,
CXXXIX Jonah was one of the emissaries too.
V
CXXXVIII and nightly—so won’t you understand?
CXXXVII You pass by where they were, daily
CXXXVI and We destroyed the rest.
CXXXV except an old woman among those who stayed behind;
CXXXIV We saved him and his people, all
CXXXIII Lot was an emissary too:
CXXXII for he was one of Our faithful servants.
CXXXI For that is how We recompense those who do right;
CXXX “Peace on Elias and kind!”
CXXIX And We left for him in future generations,
CXXVIII except the sincere servants of God.
CXXVII But they rejected him; and so they will be summoned,
CXXVI “God, your Lord, and Lord of your ancestors of yore?”
CXXV “Do you pray to Baal, while neglecting the best of creators,
CXXIV He said to his people, “Won’t you be conscientious?
CXXIII And Elias was an emissary too:
CXXII for those two were among Our faithful servants.
CXXI For that is how We recompense those who do good;
CXX “Peace upon Moses and Aaron!”
CXIX and We left for them in future generations
CXVIII and We guided them to the straight path,
CXVII and We gave them the clear scripture,
CXVI and We helped them so they would be the victors,
CXV and We rescued them and their people from tremendous trouble,
CXIV We also blessed Moses and Aaron,
IV
CXIII And We blessed him, and Isaac too; but while some of their descendants are good, some are clearly oppressing their own souls.
CXII We also gave him good news of Isaac, a prophet, a man of integrity.
CXI for he was one of Our faithful servants.
CX That is how We recompense those who do right;
CIX “Peace upon Abraham!”
CVIII and We left for him in future generations
CVII as We redeemed him through a tremendous sacrifice,
CVI for this was certainly an evident trial,
CV “You have already authenticated the vision For that is how We recompense those who do right;
CIV We called to him, “Abraham!
CIII Then when both had acquiesced and he lay him down, on his forehead,
CII Then when he had come of age to work together, he said, “My son, I see in a dream that I sacrifice you. Now let’s see what you think.” He said, “Father, do what you are commanded; you will find me, God willing, bearing it calmly.”
CI So We announced joyful news to him, of a good-natured son.
C “My Lord, grant me sound progeny.”
XCIX He said, “As for me, I am going to my Lord, who will guide me.
XCVIII Thus they conceived a plot against him, but We made them the lowliest.
XCVII They said, “Build a structure for it, and throw him into a fire.”
XCVI “when God made you and what you manufacture?”
XCV He said, “Do you worship what you carve,
XCIV and [his people] rushed at him.
XCIII Then he turned on them, striking with the right hand,
XCII “What is the matter with you, that you don’t speak?”
XCI Then he turned on their deities and said, “Don’t you eat?
XC and they turned their backs on him.
LXXXIX and said, “I am sick,”
LXXXVIII Then he took a look at the stars
LXXXVII “Then what is your idea of the Lord of the universe?”
LXXXVI “is it falsehood, deities other than God, that you have in mind?
LXXXV he said to his father and his people, “What is it you worship—
LXXXIV he went to his Lord with a sound heart;
LXXXIII But Abraham was certainly a follower of his:
LXXXII then We drowned the rest.
LXXXI for he was one of Our faithful devotees;
LXXX for that is how We reward those who do good;
LXXIX “Peace upon Noah among all peoples,”
LXXVIII and among later generations We left for him
LXXVII and made his descendants the survivors:
LXXVI and We rescued him and his family from the great distress,
LXXV Noah called out to Us, surely the perfect respondent,
III
LXXIV except the sincere devotees of God.
LXXIII so observe the end of those who had been warned,
LXXII and We’d sent them warners too—
LXXI and most of the ancients before them had also gone astray—
LXX and they hasten to follow their footsteps;
LXIX for they found their fathers astray,
LXVIII Then they’ll be returned to the blaze:
LXVII Then, on top of that, they’ll have a concoction with boiling water.
LXVI They will eat of it, filling their guts with it.
LXV its fruit stalk is like devils’ heads.
LXIV for it is a tree that emerges from the source of hellfire:
LXIII We made that as a trial for the unjust;
LXII is that a better place to stay than the infernal tree of hell?
LXI so let workers work for the likes of this—
LX This is indeed the great success;
LIX “except our first death, and we are not to be punished?”
LVIII “Are we then not to die
LVII “If not for the grace of my Lord, I would surely have been one of those to be summoned.
LVI he’ll say, “By God, you nearly brought me to destruction!
LV Then when he looks, he will see him in the middle of the blaze:
LIV “Will you look?”
LIII “‘When we have died and become dust and bones, are we really to be requited?”’
LII “who said, ‘Are you really one of those who believe?’
LI A speaker among them will say, “I had a companion
L then they will approach one another, asking after one another.
XLIX delicate, chaste;
XLVIII And with them there will be demure women with large eyes,
XLVII with no intoxication in it, so they don’t become inebriated from it.
XLVI pure water, a delight to those who drink,
XLV while a cup from a fountain is passed around to them,
XLIV on divans facing each other,
XLIII in gardens of felicity,
XLII fruits; and they will be honored
XLI for them there is a determined provision,
XL except the sincere servants of God;
XXXIX but you will not be repaid but for what you have done,
XXXVIII You will surely suffer the painful punishment,
XXXVII But he has brought truth, and confirmed the veracity of the emissaries.
XXXVI saying, “Would we really abandon our deities for a poet who’s possessed?”
XXXV for they were insolent when told there is no deity but God,
XXXIV for that is what We will do with sinners,
XXXIII So on that day they will share the agony,
XXXII “For we misguided you, as we ourselves were misguided.”
XXXI “And now the testimony of our Lord has proven true against us—indeed, we are certainly suffering!
XXX “and we had no authority over you. No, you are an unruly people.”
XXIX They will reply, “No, you were not believers,
XXVIII saying, “It was you who came to us claiming right.”
XXVII and turn to one another, questioning each other,
XXVI But that day they will surrender,
XXV “What is the matter with you, that you don’t assist one another?”
XXIV then stop them, for they are to be questioned:
XXIII instead of God; and let them be led to the path to the blaze:
XXII Let them be gathered— those who did wrong, and their mates, and those they used to worship
II
XXI This is the day of decision, which you used to deny.
XX and they will say, “Oh, woe is us! This is judgment day!”
XIX Then it will be but a single cry, and lo—they will see:
XVIII Say, “Yes; and you will be contemptible.”
XVII “And our ancestors from ancient times?”
XVI “What? When we’re dead and have become dust and bones, are we really to be resurrected?
XV saying it is obvious enchantment, that’s all:
XIV And when they have seen a sign, they make a mockery of it,
XIII And when they are warned, they pay no mind.
XII But you marvel, while they jeer.
XI Now ask them if they believe their constitution is more solid than anything We have created, for We made them of cohesive clay.
X except one grabbing a snatch— then a piercing fire pursues him.
IX repelled and consigned to lasting torment;
VIII so they cannot eavesdrop on the supreme council, but will be ousted from every side,
VII and to guard against every rebellious devil,
VI We have adorned the sky of the world with the ornament of the stars,
V Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything in between, and Lord of all points of the sunrise.
IV your God is actually One,
III and who recited revelation,
II and so are forbidding defenders,
I By those who stand together, side by side,
0 In the name of God, the Benevolent, the Merciful
