Chicago Med 5x07

Okay... So I'm not entirely sure what I've just watched? I mean... What was it? Can't something change here for once? I thought Ethan and April disagreeing over a patient was over. But I guess not. This was senseless. He didn't have to call the military! I'm just glad he apologized and that it was sincere. His pushing for the baby in the first scene was also weird, and I would say OOC... Was I April, I'd feel pretty uncomfortable with it.

I actually was kinda hoping she and Marcel could be this badass bromance without any romantic baggage? Guess it's not gonna happen, because they just went the easiest road. I'm glad April withdrew, but I don't think she'll resist much longer. And I'm gonna literally hate it. I hate cheating, I hate lying, I hate love triangles. And they are heading for all three right now. Sigh. Make it a threesome if you wish, not a triangle. That would actually be interesting.

What was good in this ep was Maggie's storyline (she deserves a break, and a man) and the complete lack of Manstead. Will and Natalie as separate beings weren't even as infuriating as they usually tend to be.

I might be slightly bitter because it seems like this week's episodes of my med dramas generally tend to disappoint me, so do forgive me!
