So the pony species of the madrigals are

Alma: unicorn

Pedro: pegasus

Julieta: earth pony

Pepa: pegasus

Agustin: pegasus

Felix: earth pony

Dolores: unicorn

Antonio: earth pony

Isabela: pegasus

Luisa: earth pony

Mirabel: unicorn

Miarbel became Twilight's student after season 4, episode 8. She was also 13 at the time

Multiple people know mirabel's true identity, those being zecora, Luna, sunset shimmer, discord, and starlight after they become proper friends

Speaking of starlight, her back story is a little different. after sumburst left for magic school, starlight became ostracized for her lack of cutie mark. Starlight was a last bloomer and was bullied relentlessly for it. She only got cutie mark when she was 15

Mirabel thinks the cmc are a lot like the trio of kids she meets in the movie (I forgot their names)

Mirabel unintentionally acts like a pony when she is human, e.g. not eating meat, snorting when she is angry, and saying everypony instead of everybody

After mirabel's secret is uncovered, the grandkids (besides antonio) all discover them selves and get there cutie marks

The grandkids also figured out how to pony up like in equestria girls

The reason antonio doesn't have to discover his cutie mark is because mirabel helped him find his love for animals

Antonio and fluttershy are best friends

Tempest and mirabel are also friends since they have a hard time controlling their magic

here’s everything i have jotted down for the infection au. gotta thank my moot @pwupcakess for the initial idea; it was genuinely a really cool and original take on the cutie mark themed infections ive seen going around! i think this au definitely still needs some cleaning and clarification, but i really wanted to play with the idea of a magic-based illness, considering magic is so vital to the ponies’ lives :3

warnings for mentions of death, two (2) mentions of body mutilation (chopping off a cutie mark [not described in detail]) and descriptions of mild gore. nothing too crazy, and honestly i feel like its a bit tamer than most infection aus lolz. still tread with caution if need be!

begins at the flank. around the cutie mark, a bruiselike mark will appear. this mark will darken and spread over time. usually it takes about 2-3 weeks for the infection to reach past the hocks, but in the early stages, it doesn’t appear to grow significantly for a few days.

common flu symptoms begin in the early stages. ponies will feel slightly fatigued, sore (specifically around the flank), and congested. dizziness is also common in weaker ponies. depending on the pony’s health pre-infection, these symptoms can vary in severity.

as the bruise spreads, it appears in patches over the body (think something like swamp fever). ponies’ fur will thin out and in some cases leave completely empty patches where the infection leaves marks.

after the first few weeks, the bruise coloration will have spread to almost the entire leg. at this point, ponies will feel stiffness in their back legs, but the full paralysis will not set in until another week has passed. the previous symptoms will intensify exponentially.

in its third stage, the infection will have spread to the front legs as well. in more severe cases, it will have made it almost halfway up the neck. paralysis won’t set in fully in the front legs until the infection reaches above the ears. ponies can still drag themselves around if absolutely necessary, but the fatigue and paralysis in the back legs, as well as the dizziness, makes it incredibly difficult.

in its final stages, the infection will have spread past the ears and will begin to slowly spread to the rest of the head. it spreads from beneath the chin and behind the ears. ponies will be almost comatose at this point, though most are still able to talk and be fed. the soreness will have dissipated completely at this point, leaving ponies’ legs numb and unusable. it takes about four days for the infection to finish covering the body, reaching the brain and killing the pony.

instead of the mane 6/7/8 (if you count sunset and starlight), the cmc are the main ones working to fight the virus. starlight is still mostly healthy (aside from sleep deprivation and stress), others’ statuses are tbd.

at this point, the cmc are around 9-12ish. they still don’t have marks, and are therefore immune.

chopping off a cutie mark cupcakes-style can also stop the virus, but it leaves a nasty scar and depending on the progression of the virus, it can still leave a pony paralyzed accordingly.

cutie marks go to about the second layer of skin, so it isn’t too hard to carve them out if somepony has a strong enough will or is desperate enough.

spells like starlight’s that change a pony’s mark do not change the effects or speed of the infection (trust her, she’s tried).

the first princess to be infected is luna, and in her haste to find a way to heal her sister, celestia is infected as well.

cadence, shining armor, and flurry heart are all safe, but cadence is struggling trying to decide between going to help the other princesses or staying to watch over her family.

twilight is wandering with spike, trying to find a faster way to create a cure. she contracts the infection while exploring near the original castle.

areas high in magical energy are at high risk to infect ponies. ponies with high magical energy themselves, such as the elements of harmony, unicorns, and alicorns, are at a much higher risk to be infected because of the instability caused by the virus. while infected, these ponies will show more extreme symptoms such as wild magic when trying to cast spells.

when celestia and luna are infected, the land is kept in a perpetual sunrise because neither of them can safely wield the sun or moon.

So, thoughts on the Fall Formal outfits for the Humane 5 + Twilight, Flash, Trixie, Snips, Snails, CMC, Diamond Tiara, and Silver Spoon in the first EQG movie?

Okay fall formal outfits:

Twilight - Pretty okay. A little generic. I think she could've gone with something a touch more regal since part of her story arc is accepting her role as Princess and Leader. But they wanted everyone in short skirts and all.

Pinkie - I love this one actually. Layers, bows, the hat? A lot better fitting. My only suggestion would once again be 'More!!' but I understand the limitation of keeping her simple for animation

Rarity - Fabulous as always! I kinda wish she had a necklace though.

Applejack - I..... look. The Fall Formal is one of the times I'm down for AJ wearing a dress of her own accord but... that's- that's not a vibe at all. It's trying way too hard. Jean dress and apples everywhere.

Rainbow - Once again she suffers from the design team wanting to put her in rainbow-colored outfits. I like the style of it decently for 'she has to wear a dress', but I'd love for them to let her have a more solid colors.

Fluttershy - Real cute! I think she should have sleeves, but it's still a vibe!

Sunset - Did not wear a different outfit for the formal. Of the three we see in her photos of previous wins, I like the first one best and the third the least.

Flash - Pretty generic suit tbh, but he's the sexy lamp at a school dance so it works!

Trixie - I can't find any images of her at the Fall Formal, and I don't feel like scouring the background right now.

Snips and Snails - Wearing a tuxedo print shirt/adding a bowtie to your default outfit with a tophat? Peak freshman energy.

CMC - why are they all in pinks?? I think if you adjust the colors to be more personal it'd work for Bloom and Belle. Scoots is entirely too frilly tho

Diamond and Silver - I wish we got to see what the actual color scheme for them is because I can only find images of them in funky lighting, but I love both their dresses on them

The Mane 7 Passover headcanon

Disclaimer: Happy Passover before I start non-Jews shouldn’t be celebrating Passover on their own is it’s a close practice. But since Fluttershy is Jewish (in my AU) and she invited her friends to the Seder it’s ok

Fluttershy invited her friends plus their siblings for the second Seder. All of them love sharing their traditions with each other

So who came? Basically the Mane 7 plus the CMC (Fluttershy was ok with Scoots tagging along since the rest of the friend group)

Fluttershy made it clear the rules everyone had to follow. Wear nice clothes, don’t bring any food, Pinkie you can NOT bring any treats, the girls don’t have to learn the four questions but Zephyr wound be bitching about him not being the youngest at the Seder but still having to say it if they don’t, don’t make any rude comments on food being ‘weird’ and ‘gross’,someone needs to drive Pinkie so she won’t bring any food, please think before you speak

Apple Bloom volunteered to say the four questions

The Apples were the first to come over and helped set up. Fluttershy was surprised that AJ was in a dress

What Rarity’s dress was over the top but it’s Rarity. It was Miss Frizzle dress showing all of the ten plagues

Everyone was shocked that Zephyr not only wore deodorant, but shaved as well

Zephyr looked put together

Fluttershy tried to explain all of the traditions to the guests

Mrs Shy handed out kippot to anyone who wanted to one and gave everyone a Haggadah

Mr Shy lead the Seder and everyone took turns reading for the Haggadah

Sweetie Belle was whispering to Rarity if they could get smoothie bowls (Smoothie bowls are one of Sweeties safe foods btw) and Rarity kept on shushing her

Zephyr kept on trying to fluent with Dashie and Fluttershy was super embarrassed

Scootaloo trying to prove her toughest ate a bunch of horseradish

Scootaloo regretted it very much

Apple Jack, Twilight and Sunset helped Mrs Shy and Fluttershy with serving food. There were two types of soups, chicken matzah ball and vegan matzah ball soup.

Fluttershy might have accidentally spilled soup on Zephyr’s lap

Scootaloo made a very inappropriate joke about matzah balls

A few people tried gefilte fish

Apple Bloom liked it, surprisingly because she hates tuna salad

Scootaloo teased Sweetie with it and Sweetie hit the fork out of Scoots hand and the fish went flying

One of Fluttershy’s cats (she has many pets) ate it

After gefilte fish and soup it was time for mains.

Dinner was brisket, roasted potatoes, a few types of kugals, latkes (they are not just for Chanukah) and salad

The only food that Sweetie would eat was the chicken soup so she had a few bowls of it

Sunset really likes maztah she went home with box of it

After dinner the girls went to look for the afikomen

The girls looked everywhere, even in the toilet

Mr Shy gave the girls $5 for finding it

Apple Bloom gave the money back since should couldn’t expect it

Scootaloo offer to take Apple Bloom’s money

Dessert was a bunch of crappy store bought Passover treats. Pinkie asked why she couldn’t bring actually good bake goods

Fluttershy gave up explaining chametz to Pinkie

Mrs Shy completed Apple Bloom and Apple Bloom replied ‘You are Welcome ma’am, Granny thought me to respect all religions since that would what Jesus would do’

A lot of people started laughing, Apple Bloom was super confused. AJ explain that Jews don’t believe in Jesus and that’s why people are laughing

Apple Bloom apologized and help clean up

Fluttershy thanked her friends for coming and how much it matter that her friends respect her religion

Least favorite mlp characters?

As of now I don’t really have any characters I actively dislike, but I will list the characters I like the least as my least favorites!

So here is my least favorite…

Mane 6: Fluttershy, because it seems like most of her episodes were about learning to stand up for herself or accept herself as shy. There’s only so much you can do with “shy” as a personality trait y’know? I loved her in Zephyr’s debut episode though because she got to be put in a different role.

Princess: Flurry Heart because she’s a baby and I’m not particularly invested in baby characters beyond “aww how cute!” Also Cadence, specifically after Flurry Heart was born, because it seemed like the rest of her personality fell away to just be “Flurry’s mommy.” Before that she was awesome though.

CMC: This is hard — Scootaloo is my favorite because of disabled person solidarity, and since there are only three main Crusaders it’s hard to pick between Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle. I can’t say Babs Seed either because I love MustLoveFrogs’ Babs x Twist art too much.

Villain: Sunset Shimmer, SPECIFICALLY in the first Equestria Girls movie. She was a stereotypical mean girl with little else to her, that movie really did her dirty. I love her in all the prequels and sequels, though, so it’s really just that one movie.

Minor antagonist: I don’t like how Garble was written, first as a one-dimensional asshole and later with his weird slam poetry deal. I feel like they could have given him a sensitive and eccentric side in a better way. However, I adore QueenCold’s art of him, along with all her other headcanons, too much to flat out dislike him as a character.

Non-pony: The diamond dogs and Sludge were plain annoying. Also, the episode that the buffaloes were in was awful and in bad taste, but this is more about the show than the buffaloes themselves.

Celebrity: Daring Do. She should have remained a fictional character in-universe. She’s a Rainbow Dash recolor, which worked when she was a fictional character RD was projecting onto, but not as a real pony. She steals Ahuizotl’s stuff for…idk why? And is also named after a transphobe (AK Yearling = JK Rowling).

Background pony: I’m sorry to the fandom, but Derpy (or Muffins, or Ditzy Doo). I just find her overrated; she’s a Rainbow Dash recolor with a lazy eye that was originally only an animation joke. Not that there aren’t wonderful fan works with her, but I just don’t get the hype.
