A common species, but this specimen is quite interesting.
The variable ladybug (as the name suggests) comes in a variety of forms, from spots, to blotches, to stripes. This specimen has four spots on its elytra, but has faded stripe markings also. A strange mixture of two separate forms the ladybug can come in.
