Some fun facts & trivia about you: I'll listen to one song over and over again for like 5 months until I get bored of it. I have an odd amount of knowledge about old music and WILL share it with you without hesitation. I'm also a crazy TOA prophet because whoever I tweet about ends up joining TOA like a week after.

What non-Fire Emblem games do you play? I play a lot of Final Fantasy games and also League of Legends. I've played SO many games though, it's hard to keep count.

Favorite Pokemon type & Pokemon: I really like grass and psychic types! My favorite pokemon is Musharna and it has been since N gave her to me back in black and white!

How did you get into Fire Emblem? I got the game for my birthday along with a gameboy way back when I was about 7-8 years old. That game was Binding Blade and I've been riding that wave ever since.

What Fire Emblem games have you played? I have played through almost all of them excluding ALL of fates and the tellius games.

How did you find TOA? Well it was first mentioned to me by N a year or so before I actually joined! I was really wanting to get back into the FE scene and so I thought this might be a good start.

Current TOA muses: Scáthach, Ephraim, Eliwood

Who was your first TOA muse? If you don’t have them anymore, could you see yourself picking them up again? Male Robin! It's probably unlikely... I love him to death but he's easily my oldest fire emblem muse and he is VERY tired.

Have you had any other TOA muses? Quanathan my beloved

Do you think you have a type of character you gravitate towards? I KNOW I HAVE A TYPE I GRAVITATE TO! I never really knew this about myself until TOA, but I seem to gravitate towards knights the most. There is just something about the kind of devotion a knight feels, and how that alters their entire existence.

What do you believe you enjoy writing the most? I typically really enjoy getting into the gritty of things while I'm writing. Explaining emotion and action, why a character is the way they are. I find this most fun with another muse who has close connections to mine.

Favorite TOA-related memory: I think my favorite moment might be when Soji and I reconnected after 10 minutes of me being in this server. We had interacted one time in indie but she had always been on my mind because of how exceptional her writing is. Turns out she remembered me too, and now we're besties and going to cons together!

How do you pronounce TOA?: I usually just say the letters themselves because I'm extra like that.

Anniversary: Day #6 of Rogue/Gambit week

How did the Drama Brothers form? What god decided that these four idiots should form a cohesive unit? And why these four specifically? Well here’s what happened:

Trent was moody™️ after the whole Gwen situation on Action and Harold, Cody, and Justin all surprisingly reached out (with varying levels of sincerity and success) :

Justin reached out first, believe it or not. Turns out being embarrassed, injured, and rejected on national television will really teach you humility; doesn’t mean that he has any actual people skills though. Justin compared Trent’s break up to how it felt when Lindsay and Beth told him he wasn’t attractive anymore and offered to hook him up with a model friend of his. It’s the thought that counts, right?

Cody was next; he didn’t talk about Gwen, but instead asked him about his OCD. Cody sat and listened to how Trent was able to keep it “in check” when they filmed for Island so he didn’t feel the need to tell anyone about it, but because he had to switch therapists inbetween Island and Action, he was having trouble with control again, especially since it was the 10 year anniversary of his grandfather’s death and he was too embarrassed about it to open up and was worried no one would believe him. Because Cody struggles with ADHD, he understood where Trent was coming from although not to the same extent. Trent appreciated his company and the fact that he didn’t ask about how he felt about Gwen; their friendship is a different headcanon post for a different day.

Harold reached out last. Leshawna came out as a lesbian to him after they were both eliminated and he was devasted but supportive nonetheless. Harold actually asked Trent for advice on how to move forward “when your love is forever unrequited and fate’s design does not leave you united?”, to which Trent replied with “that’s a pretty sick lyric dude, write it out”.

One night while they were talking over the phone, Trent told Cody about Harold’s lyrics. And the following conversation happened:

“What if the three of us formed a band?”

“Cody, what?”

“Think about it. You can play guitar and write and sing, I can play piano and sing, and Harold can beatbox and write. It’ll be perfect!”

“Okay, fuck it. Let’s form a band.”

So the original Drama Brothers was only going to be Harold, Cody, and Trent, until Justin found out. Trent had briefly mentioned the idea, to which Justin responded by telling him “absolutely not...without my help”. Justin convinced the other three that with his experience in the modeling industry, he could be their manager and handle booking their events and gigs, which was more experience than the rest of them had. They were finally sold when Justin sang “Wonderwall” for them (well Trent and Cody were sold, Harold was still wary because of what happened in Action, but majority rules). And so, with the help of the fuckery that was Total Drama Action, one black lesbian, and general teenage angst, the Drama Brothers were born.

NWA 73 preview

This is the NWA's 73rd anniversary show, which kicks off at 8pm EDT from the Chase Hotel in St. Louis. It'll be streaming live on Fite.tv for $24.99. However, if you can still get the $39.99 bundle for this show and last night's Empowerrr, I'd recommend doing that.

Nick Aldis vs. Trevor Murdoch - For the third time, Murdoch is challenging Aldis for the NWA men's world heavyweight title. After coming up short on June 6 and July 24, Murdoch put his career on the line for this match; if he doesn't win, he will retire from pro wrestling.

Aldis has been champion for over 1,000 days. To put that into perspective, he won the title from Cody Rhodes at the NWA's 70th anniversary show, in October 2018. Prior to Cody's brief title reign, Aldis held the ten pounds of gold for an additional 266 days. In short, he's been the champion for most of the last four years. He's been so utterly dominant that I seriously think Murdoch may retire.

Murdoch is the embodiment of a wrestling journeyman. He got his first big break in the last days of ECW. Then in 2005 he debuted in WWE as a tag team with Lance Cade. This was at the peak of WWE's mentality of recruiting handsome muscle-y guys like Cade, so Murdoch's flabby, white-trash trucker look immediately made him stand out. He was different, which made him interesting, but WWE released him almost as soon as they broke up the team in 2008. At the time, getting cut from WWE usually meant no chance of getting back in, and few alternatives to make good money at wrestling. So he fell off the radar in the 2010s, only to re-emerge on Billy Corgan's version of the NWA, which seemed tailor-made for him.

The big question here is whether the NWA would actually take the world title off of their one heavily-protected superstar and put it on a guy who would be (and has been) a midcard also-ran in any other promotion. The other question is what happens with Aldis if he drops the belt--it's possible his contract is coming due, and that may be forcing the issue of a title change. If Aldis is on his way out, Murdoch is the best guy they have left to take over as champion. If not...well, I don't know how you book Aldis underneath Murdoch. I wouldn't mind finding out, though.

I'm leaning towards Murdoch winning the title. But it's a credit to how well they've protected Aldis that I can't shake the feeling that he'll win yet again and hold the title another 1,000 days.

Chris Adonis vs. James Storm - Adonis (better known as "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters in WWE) is defending the NWA national championship. Storm was a regular with the NWA up until January 2020. Other than coming in for some tapings where he dropped the tag title, he hasn't been around since then. So maybe this is a one-off or maybe he's back for good. The finish will probably depend on that. I'm sort of thinking Storm wins the title, but I could be wrong.

Kamille vs. Chelsea Green - Green won the NWA Women's Invitiational Cup last night to earn this shot at Kamille's NWA women's world title. I'm still kinda sore that Tootie Lynn didn't win after that huge hometown pop she got. It'll be worth it if they have something good planned for this match, but I'm not expecting a lot. Green is a free agent that could end up anywhere, but I don't think she'll end up in the NWA, so I don't think she's going to win the title.

Mickie James vs. Kylie Rae - When James was announced as the producer of the Empowerrr show, she vowed that she would not book herself to wrestle on the show, so this is her big chance to compete in an NWA ring this weekend. Kylie, meanwhile, is coming off a loss last night. It feels like Mickie needs to go over to establish her as the big star coming into the territory, but for all I know she's not sticking around, or she might prefer to put over the younger talent. This another match where I just can't be sure who wins, which is good for this card.

Aron Stevens & JR Kratos vs. Bestia 666 & Mecha Wolf 450 - Stevens and Kratos are defending the NWA men's tag team title against representatives of AAA's faction La Rebelion. The last time I really kept up with the NWA, Stevens was doing a comedy karate gimmick with Jocephus dressed up as The Question Mark. Somewhere along the way (prior to Jocephus's death), Stevens ended up with Kratos instead. On paper you'd expect the team with Stevens on it to get clobbered, because he's the Wile E. Coyote of pro wrestling. But I doubt Bestia and Mecha Wolf are sticking around, so a tag title change wouldn't make a lot of sense. So look for Stevens to pull some kind of chicanery.

Thom Latimer vs. Tim Storm vs. Crimson - This is being billed as the "Brawl in the Lou" (i.e., St. Louis), which I assume means there are no disqualifications or count-outs, and falls count anywhere. Latimer is part of Nick Aldis's stable Strictly Business (along with Chris Adonis and Kamille). Tim Storm is 57 years old and sort of plays the role of an NWA legend without actually having been around when the NWA was really legendary. Crimson had been teaming with Jax Dane over the past few years but I'm not sure if that's still a thing. I have no idea why these three are fighting, and it may be just because there was nothing else for them to do on this show. I don't know who should win and I'm not sure it matters.

Tyrus & Jordan Clearwater & The Masked Man vs. Da Pope & Odinson & Parrow - Tyrus used to be Brodus Clay in WWE; currently he's the NWA television champion, with Austin Idol as his manager. Clearwater is part of Idol's stable. The Masked Man seems to be an x-factor in this match, and I don't know enough about the story to venture a guess as to why he's involved here. Pope appeared in WWE as Elijah Burke, and even though that's his real name he's tended to just go by "Da Pope" ever since. Odinson and Parrow are a tag team called The End.

The only storyline I can discern is that Tyrus won the TV title from Pope. I'm not sure what the Masked Man and The End have to do with anything. I tried looking for a promo on Youtube to explain things but I just ended up listening to a long, go-nowhere Austin Idol promo that reminded me why I don't watch NWA Powerrr much. I guess Pope's team wins, maybe?

12-man battle royale - This appears to be a standard battle royale, with everyone in the ring at the start, and eliminations occurring when the participants leave the ring over the top rope. The last competitor left in the ring wins the match and receives a future match for the NWA men's world title. No participants have been announced, and I'm real curious if the NWA even has twelve men available that aren't already booked for the other matches. For all I know the undercard guys may be doing double duty tonight.

This feels like a good place to have a surprise wrestler debut to win the whole thing and shake up the main event scene. Whether the NWA has anyone like that lined up remains to be seen. But WWE did lay off a lot of men who haven't shown up anywhere else yet, so maybe it could happen.

“We are here live on the red carpet for The Ryan Seacrest Foundation in San Antonio, Texas, where some of Hollywood’s biggest and favorite couples are spending their Valentine’s Day giving back and raising money for the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio,” Ryan Seacrest spoke into his E! microphone and looked directly into the camera before he turned to his left to see who was next on the red carpet. “In fact, here’s my good buddy and his girlfriend, Teen Wolf’s Cody Christian and Y/N Y/L/N. Watch your step,” Ryan offered a hand to Y/N as she picked up her dress a little and carefully walked up the steps with Cody’s hand at the small of her back, guiding her up the steps.

Hugs and handshakes were exchanged as they quickly said hello to one another before Ryan jumped back into work mode. “First of all, thank you so much for spending your Valentine’s Day with us as I’ve known you two for a while now, but I didn’t realize you two are also celebrating your ten year anniversary today!” Ryan put a hand to his mouth to cover his next words from the couple and looked directly into the camera, “I hear wedding bells soon,” he sang in a playful and jokingly kind of way as he winked at the camera.

The trio laughed. It didn’t make Cody and Y/N uncomfortable. The two have already talked about getting married someday and both knew Cody would propose when the time is right. Cody and Y/N were just 15 when they met at a book store and Cody asked her out on a date to the movies. Their relationship started off slow as Cody’s schedule was busy with Pretty Little Liars, but they made it work. They were both patient with one another, which made their relationship much stronger, meaningful, and deeper.

Ryan looked away from the camera and back to the happy couple,“ but seriously, congratulations! Not many relationships in Hollywood last this long." 

"Thank you,” Cody and Y/N said in unison before they laughed.

“What’s your secret?” Ryan asked. 

“First of all, thank you for having us,” Cody said. “We’re always here to help you when it comes to raising money for such a great cause.”

“We’re more than happy to be here,” Y/N smiled.

“As for the secret to our successful relationship, do you mind if I quote something Kevin Bacon said once during an interview when he got asked the same question about his marriage?” Cody asked.

“Not at all. Go for it,” Ryan held the microphone a little bit closer to Cody to catch every word.

“Keep the fights clean and the sex dirty,” Cody smirked.

“Cody!” Y/N playfully smacked his arm, shaking her head as everyone laughed. She looked back at Ryan, “don’t mind him. I think our relationship works so well because we definitely communicate and more importantly we’re patient with one another.”

“Which is so important because sometimes my job keeps me away from her. Sometimes I film long hours, sometimes I film in other states or countries, and she can’t always go with me. I’m so lucky to have her in my life, who not only understands me and my hectic life, but also loves me back,” Cody smiled as he wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her to his side.

“Aww,” Y/N cooed as she leaned into him. “It’s hard not to love a man who says nothing but sweet things to me.”

“You two are just too cute for words,” Ryan chuckled. “Y/N, I have to ask, what does it feel like to be in a relationship with the Cody Christian? Our researchers at E! recently found out you were actually one of Cody’s biggest fans before you met him. You used to run a Cody Christian fan blog, right?”

Y/N’s eyes widened in shock as Cody’s head snapped in her direction completely taken back and gave her a quizzical look.

Remembering she was live on national television, Y/N quickly composed herself and shook it off as if it was nothing. “Oh, gosh, Ryan, that was so long ago. But you know what? I love Cody and there aren’t enough words to express how much I love him and how proud I am of him.”

“Well, thank you so much for joining us on the red carpet and being here tonight. You two enjoy the rest of your night,” Ryan shook their hand as they exchanged quick goodbyes.

“Cody, I can explain,” she quickly whispered as she slipped her hand in his and walked down the steps.

He gripped her hand tight, working his muscles under his jaw as he gritted his teeth, “We’ll talk about this later.” He closed his eyes for a second and let out a deep frustrated sigh. In an instant, his whole demeanor changed as he plastered a fake smile on his face. “For now, smile cause we’re still on the red carpet.”

It was a little after midnight and Y/N had changed out of her red ballroom gown and into a pair of black yoga pants and one of Cody’s old hoodies. Her eyes had been puffy from crying since she got home and Cody took off without telling her where he was going. After the interview on the red carpet, they had to pretend nothing was wrong, fake smiles and laughs when they socialized with their friends and met new people.

As soon as the charity event was over, Cody and Y/N sat in the back of the car in an uncomfortable silence. The driver could feel the tension in the car and he knew a knife wouldn’t cut through it. When the driver dropped them off and drove out of their driveway, Cody got in his truck and took off without so much as looking back at Y/N. Although she knew he clearly needed to clear his mind and sort things out, she wasn’t expecting him to leave her like that. They’ve had fights before, but Cody had never walked away from one. Y/N was worried she had messed things up for good and might have lost the only good thing she had in her life.

Y/N quickly wiped away the fallen tears once she heard the back door open and close and Cody dropping his keys in the bowl on a table they had by the door. She grabbed her pillow and hugged it to her chest as she curled her body in fetal position. Cody noticed a soft light coming from underneath the bedroom door. He slowly opened the door to their shared bedroom and peeked in to see if Y/N was asleep. Her back was to him, giving him the impression she was asleep, until he saw her shoulders tremble. He was pissed at her, but hated that he caused the tears he knew were sliding down her cheeks at the moment.

He closed his eyes as he let out a deep frustrated sigh before closing the door behind him. Cody moved around the room and into the bathroom to get ready for bed. Y/N didn’t move, nor did she make a sound. With her blurry vision, she just looked straight ahead at the wall in front of her. 

She felt the bed dip besides her as Cody laid down on his side. He reached over to the lamp on his nightstand and turned it off. He didn’t say a word, say or kiss her good night. He just stayed on his side of the bed and gave her his back. Although they were just about a foot away from one another, they felt miles apart, and the horrible tension they had in the car now filled their bedroom.

“I’m sorry,” she whispered in the dark. “I’m so sorry.”

“You lied to me,” he whispered back.

She immediately shook her head. “No, I didn’t." 

"You withheld the truth from me,” he leaned over to turn the lamp back on. He leaned up on his elbows and looked at her. “You withheld the truth and you lied about it." 

Still refusing to look at him, she closed her eyes and let out a deep sigh. "I’m sorry. I never meant to hurt you and I should have told you. You didn’t deserve to find out the way you did.”

“Why didn’t you tell me?”

“I was afraid-" 

"Afraid of what?! That this would happen?! That I would be completely pissed about this? I mean could you bla-”

“No! I was afraid you’d stop loving me if you found out!” Y/N shouted back as she finally turned around to face Cody.

Cody scanned her features. Her eyes were red and puffy. They were also broken, filled with sadness and worry. Cody let out a deep sigh as he reached for her hand. “Babe, I could never stop loving you. After my mom’s cancer, your dad’s death,” Cody shook his head. “We’ve been through too much together and been there for each other when we needed each other the most. I could never stop loving you. I’m just mad you never told me about this, that you kept this from me. I had a right to know about this.”

“I know and I’m sorry. I stopped running the blog the second you asked me to move in with you after Jeff talked about bringing you back for the final season of Teen Wolf,” she finally sat up and fiddled with her fingers. “Cody, you have to know, although I first knew you as Mike and I was head over heels with him, I love you. I don’t love you because you were Mike and Theo. I fell in love with you because I love the way your eyes twinkle every time you laugh. I love you because you are kind and considerate towards others, and you often put everyone else first. You showed me the world from a different perspective. You taught me to love myself, be confident in myself, and believe in myself. I love you because even though you are the furthest thing from prefect, you’re perfect in my eyes.”

Cody looked at her in awe. He knew she loved him, but he never knew how deep her love ran. He had never heard her speak about him like that before and somehow that made him love her even more, knowing she loved him for all the same reasons he loved her. He cupped her cheeks and brushed away the tears on her face before pulling her in for a deep and passionate kiss.

Y/N didn’t hesitate to kiss him back as she placed her hands on his firm chest. Their lips moved in perfect sync, fitting perfectly against one another like puzzle pieces. It’s been ten years since they first got together, and to this day, every time their lips meshed together, butterflies would be released in their stomachs, heat would wash over their bodies, a shiver would travel down their spines and all the way to their toes as they saw fireworks.

“I’m so sorry,” Y/N mumbled again in between kisses. “I love you… so much, Cody.”

“It’s okay…” Cody pulled back with his eyes still closed and his forehead pressed against hers. “I love you, too, Y/N.”

Y/N wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him in for a tight hug. He buried his face at the crook of her neck, taking in the scent of her perfume as he wrapped his arms tightly around her waist. His lips pecked her neck with wet butterfly kisses. “Marry me,” he whispered.

She pulled back and looked at him. “Did you just ask me-“

“I was planning on asking you tonight after Ryan’s thing. I had the whole thing planned out. A nice warm bubble bath and then eat some chocolate covered strawberries I got you with a bottle of champagne, but then I was so pissed, and everything-“

“Changed? Did you decide not to propose at all?” She asked afraid.

Cody immediately shook his head. “Babe, I want to marry you. I never decided not never ask you to marry me. Tonight, I just needed some air. I wasn’t mad at what you did. I was mad you never told me about it, and I didn’t want to propose the same night we had our biggest fight ever, but after what you just said…. I don’t want to waste another day. We’ve been together for 10 years and been through so much together, and guess what? We’ll get through this together too.” He grabbed her hands in his and lifted them up, kissing her knuckles before he looked up at her. “So… marry me, Y/N. Let’s continue to be there for each other, have stupid fights, followed by some amazing make up sex,” Y/N chuckled. Cody smiled at her, “Make me the happiest man in the world, babe.”

“Yes,” she leaned in and kissed him. “Yes, yes, yes, yes!” She repeated in between kisses as her arms wrapped around his neck and pushed him back on the bed. Cody’s hands rested at her hips as she straddled his hips. “Get ready for the best make up sex of your life.”

“Keep the fights clean, and the sex dirty,” Cody chuckled before he kissed her.

Plus, we've already got a big match made for High Stakes next year, as Zack Sabre, Jr. cut a promo after his match saying he's defended against everyone and wants to challenge, together with Minoru Suzuki, for the tag names.

Well, we covered one bit of big news in the show elsewhere on the website, so I will skip over that and break down the rest of what's interesting here. Danny Havoc returned to the Combat Zone to beat on Conor Claxton after his match, DJ Hyde declared Will Ospreay for their WrestleMania weekend show, MJF's victory means that Joey Janela's Wired Championship reign never happened, but he paid dearly for it as Penelope Ford at long last rejoined forces with Joey.

And in the main event, Gacy's followers got involved, leading to a cavalcade of interference from the likes of Kit Osbourne, Dan Barry, and Anthony Gangone! At the same time, after the match, Nick Gage strolled through the crowd and into the cage for a confrontation which CZW do their best to scrub from the net. Work? Shoot? Together with the King, you never know!
