Full recipe for the Iced Lavender Honey Latte:
Ingredients:
- 1 shot of espresso or 1/2 cup of strongly brewed coffee
- 1 cup of milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1 tablespoon of culinary-grade dried lavender buds
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- Ice cubes
Steps:
Brew your espresso or strong coffee and allow it to cool.
In a small saucepan, combine the milk, dried lavender buds, and honey.
Heat the mixture over low-medium heat until it starts to steam, but don't let it boil.
Once steaming, remove the saucepan from heat and let it sit for about 5 minutes to infuse the flavors of the lavender into the milk.
Strain the lavender buds from the milk using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth, ensuring the milk is smooth.
