Please, I just found your Sun/Moon Naga fic and I'm melting! The reader saved Sun by warning about the landslide 🥹

My heart is broken for Moon, I really hope they clear up the misunderstanding for him soon. I'm hoping since the reader /human is a botanist, they will be able to know where to find a more marshmallow root easier than the boys do since they would be more informed where it grows. Kinda a "I'm sorry for using up your supplies, hope this helps." scenario. Since Moon was worried about the marshmallow root, I'm guessing he was the collector more for medicinal to help the siblings take care of each other while I'm guessing Sun forged for food and would find trinkets. I could see why he would be offended that Sun used it for someone else, especially since he doesn't like humans right now.

I love your writing, I really look forward to reading more! I just now got an AO3 account Even though I've been reading on it for years without one. I still have no idea how bookmarks work. So I've dedicated a tab on my phone to your fic and I'll just refresh it for updates. As for the foraging thing, Sun is actually the one who forages for their food and the medicinal plants! Before they got separated from their den, Sun was the equivalent of a doctor for the other nagas. He would go off and study all types of plants, which is how he started discovering human camps and became fascinated by them as well.

Moon is the hunter of the two. He goes off at night to hunt the meat for their diet (nagas here are omnivores). This was his job back at their den as well. He was a hunter and protector for his fellow naga. Protector from dangerous wild animals and poachers...

Ironically, Sun and Moon being so good at their old jobs is why they ended up being separated from their den in the first place... :3c

Anyway, the reason Moon freaked out about the marshmallow root was because he isn't knowledgeable about medicine like Sun, but knows some small things. If Sun got hurt, he knows how to use marshmallow root to help. So if there isn't any because of a stupid human... Moon is at a loss. Moon would rather Sun prioritize their own health over a random human who might hurt them later.

That's what his "I won't get in the way anymore" thing meant. He isn't gonna fight Sun on him prioritizing the human anymore. But of course, he is still very scared for his brother.
