Using the bathroom in general is a human right and should be enshrined as such and I'm not joking. Too many groups of people are denied bathroom breaks or the use of bathrooms entirely--disabled people, blue-collar workers, children, homeless people, prisoners, students, the elderly. I'm surely missing other groups. Not using the bathroom when needed can cause serious, long-term damage, not to mention death. Free, clean, accessible bathrooms should be available everywhere. It's fucking cruel to deny someone the use of the bathroom, regardless of the reasoning. I'd rather every student in the world goof off and every homeless person make a mess and every worker "steal company time" than let one person suffer because they're denied the right to fucking pee in peace.

Wonderful Things That May or May Not Be Wonderful!!! We now have video games with huge sprawling worlds, immaculate visuals, realistic sound effects, customization systems, voice acting, control sticks and even colors. Pretty impressive but 1979's Asteroids has none of these things and it is still fun to play today. It's all really simple: you are ship, there are asteroids, you shoot asteroids to get points, do so until you blow up several times. Ok, that's not all. Destroyed asteroids split into smaller asteroids, flying saucers show up to ruin your day, and you even have the ability to teleport a set distance through hyperspace. Put it all together and you get a foundational pillar of the space shooter genre and a great game to put a few quarters in to see how high you can make the numbers go up. An arcade classic and a wonderful time to boot.

1885-1915: Coin operated funeral parlor automaton
"The scene depicts a man in his coffin at a funeral parlor. When a coin is inserted into the mechanism, a skeleton head appears behind the coffin, the corpse bolts to an upright position and turns his head. Then, the skull disappears and a devil appears.“
- John Dennison
