I am deviating today, from the usual family toxicity and trauma posts, to talk about an issue I've been facing at work for the past few months. Not only have I been stressed out with dealing with toxic family members, I now have been dealing with a toxic coworker. I'm not sure how many of you have been or are going through this as well, but it's absolutely energy draining and frustrating to be disrespected by people in all major areas of life.

I've come to realize that this coworker of mine has a toxic ego that he instills on me for who knows what reason. Unfortunately I can't even approach him to talk to about how he makes me feel because he constantly interrupts me and cuts me off when I try to voice an opinion or thought. Honestly I'm tired of his behaviour and it seems like our manager isn't doing enough to alleviate the situation either. I don't see him changing his behaviour any time soon, which will probably force me to change my situation to help preserve my mental health and morale. 😩

Oh mein Gott, ich hab heute zufällig herausgefunden, dass meine Teamkollegin auch Soko Leipzig schaut. Keine Ahnung, wie regelmäßig, aber "In Obhut" hat sie gesehen. Sie erzählte nämlich von einer "Tatort" Folge "In Obhut", in der ein Junge in einer Pflegefamilie lebte und es ihm dort wirklich gut ging, bis seine leibliche Mutter das Jugendamt erpresst hat und ihn wieder zu sich geholt hat. Was man dabei dem Kind angetan hat, hat man beim Jugendamt erstmal nicht gesehen.

A co-worker (who I find cute tho) acts a little weird with me lately. He came and asked me if I want some of his tangerine, I politely said no. I added how I loved the trail of scent as he walked away with it. About half an hour later I came back to my office to the picture above. He secretly put them on the radiator so the room would smell like tangerines. I think it's pretty cute. A silent guy who never really talks much, doesn't always react, but seems like he listens.
