I need to compile a canon list somewhere of all the many Afflictions Khatte has acquired over the course of his career because I tend to just pull them out of my ass at random as I write and that’s going to come back to bite me someday

#things I know are Wrong With Him include on and off chronic muscular pain from getting electrocuted so much #additional sporadic pain from the spinal implants watcher x shoved into him that no longer work but are still just in there #which aren't always a problem but if he moves his tail wrong it can set it off #ptsd that mostly manifests in nightmares and really bad depressive episodes but rarely also flashbacks #some short term memory problems that could be either the ptsd or the fact that his brain has been chemically rewired twice now #but like he writes everything down anyway so it's mostly fine #pretty sure he's also prone to headaches/migraines #idk if 'paranoia and fear of emotional intimacy' goes on the list or is just a personality trait at this point #also minor stiffness in his right hip from a stupidity-induced injury acquired on one of his first missions #which I admit is an anticlimax #tearless vs swtor #he does have access to at least mitigate a lot of these but he's got this pride thing about how much pain he can tolerate #part of which is definitely an imperial thing #combined with an 'if I show weakness I'm making aliens as a collective look bad' thing #so he'll just sit there trying to tough it out unless someone's around to be like 'dude go see a fucking medic' #he's just an absolute mad max car of a person at this point but somehow he's still chugging along
