The SFX editing and background music, is by a dear friend of mine! I absolutely adore her work and effort on adding the sound effects for the unedited voice audio I sent her! Honestly, the end result makes the audio a thousands time better.

[Footsteps]

"Isn't it quite late by now--- the bar's already clos--- oh- huh?.. oh. It- it's just you. N-need a drink?.. My treat, of course"

[SFX of clothes snuffling or sfx of someone sitting on a chair/stool]

"Hm- huh? Sigh..- Don't worry, Star. I'm not gonna ask. Just relax, alright?"

[Ctrin passes a glass of drink to them, glass clanking on the table sfx or smth.]

"Huh- Hm.. give me a moment."

[Footsteps walking away, the sound of the windows' blinds being pulled close can be heard]

"There we go.."

[Footsteps approaching, and SFX of Ctrin sitting down next to them]

"..So, would you like a plate of burger?.. or- fries? Uh- It's leftovers from earlier, but it's still edible"

[Tap tap tap... Ctrin is lightly tapping his finger on the counter as he speaks.]

"O-oh...Uh- You're not hungry? Uh- That's alright, uh- uhm.. I'll be here to accompany you in.. silence-- ehehh..aha.."

[Water SFX, they chugged down the whole glass of water before putting it down on the counter with a loud-ish clank/thud]

"Hm? W-woah- easy there, you might end up choking."

"Uh..L-Look, I might not know what you're going through- nor.. what you're feeling right now. But, just-.. just know that you're.. not alone. Okay? I-..I believe in you. So.. hn.. keep your head up. And- smile for me, alright?..."

Hello darlings~ Listen, I know life isn't always easy. Sometimes, quite frankly, it's like a rollercoaster through the 9 hells, an absolute shitstorm that not one of us deserves. So, I have been writing a few short comfort pieces. Words from our beloved characters, an imagining of what they might say to us on those hard days. A very kind darling from Discord, Val.Vetine, has recorded the Tav version that I wrote. Please give them all of your love, I will add their links if/when available too. I'm honoured to have someone take the time to bring my words to life, to really have the character speaking through the screen to us all. So without further ado, please proceed below the line. Tav has something to tell you, and I think you should probably listen to what they have to say.

I know you, as well as you know me. I’ve felt your influence, everything from my face to my fate decided by your hand - and I feel the care in every decision. It’s not easy, I know. You have to make those choices yourself, in your own life, stuck in permanent Honour Mode. If I could ease that burden, take control for a while to solve all those quests you’re avoiding… But you don’t need me to do that. Not really. You’ve got that power, you have that strength - you always have. I don’t need a tadpole to recognise what we share, or to see that you’re the hero in your own story. It’s ok to rely on your party, too - I couldn’t make it across Faerun in one piece without my companions, the ones that you love as much as I do. So you don’t have to keep trying alone, either. Look around your camp, really look at them all. Everyone is fighting their own battles, but that doesn’t mean they won’t lend their sword to help your fight too - you’d do the same for them too, wouldn’t you? Now, remember to take your rests - long and short - and have the supplies you need to restore yourself. Don’t forget your potions to counter those debuffs, too. Gather your party, player, venture forth. You’re stronger than you think.

--------------- Please take a moment and really listen, loves. Some days are just awful, and it feels like they may never end. But they do, they will. Hang in there, darlings, and it doesn't matter what it is that you're holding on to as long as it gets you through the moment. None of us are alone, even when it feels like we are. ---------------- I have written other characters addressing the reader with similar comfort, but I am going to edit and expand on those before I share them further.
