So I just learned of the announcement of Dishonored 2 and I just about screamed. Okay maybe I did scream…like…a lot but anyhoo, I watched the trailer and it looks incredible. I’ve been doing some reading on the IGN web sight about it. Personally I love the fact that you can play as Emily, female protagonists in video games are kind of hard to come by. Now if you would still rather play as a male that is an option. In the beginning you play as Emily for about 20-30 minutes, then you have the choice to either keep playing as Emily or play as Corvo, the male protagonist as well as the protagonist in the original dishonored game. There have been many new powers added, some exclusive to Emily, some exclusive to Corvo. Also there have been features added to make the game tougher due to complaints of the original being too easy. I am dying of excitement. A specific release date has not been stated but it will be available in 2015. Add it to the list of games I absolutely need.
