I don't think it was ever confirmed but there have been rumours for a while she'd be leaving, obviosuly Emma has to get her commepance but I've seen things that said Giilian had quite too

I thought the actress who plays Emma was also rumored to be leaving? I think that's why the article that claimed Lachlan will become a serial killer said she'll be one of his victims, because she's going to be gone soon.

I think that's the only article I've seen about her leaving, I've seen some stuff about her getting her commepance but that's doesn't mean she'll necessarily leave.
