CPUCL Master Post
In character:
Hello! It's your host, Zecro from the 5th dimension! I am the manager and Commissioner for the CPU Challenger League, otherwise known as the CPUCL, a spiritual successor to Alpharads popular CPUCS series!
This is a post that's supposed to link to other important posts in the future and contain important information!
Out of Character:
This post will contain links to update posts and episodes. Important information is that all text under "In character" is my persona Zecro speaking and is all canon in universe. I would have used the community tab on Youtube, but I can't post on there and that's why this tumblr blog exists.
I will also repeat what I've said in previous posts, this series is not intended to infringe or steal Alphard series and if he wants me to take It down, then I will do so. This series is just intended to be fun and keep the spirit of the storytelling format that the series used. I will also avoid to tag this series in the Cpucs tag in the future. I only did It in the first few posts to make people aware of this series existence, but will not do It again.
I will attempt to update regularly and I will try to have at least 1 episode out per month, but the goal is 2 episodes. I will posts updates here If there is any issues behind the scenes.

Top Outside Xmas Laser Lights Reviews!
For instance, prospects who had their programs linked 10 years in the past would have the proposal applied to them in 5 years. The proposed tariff would affect all existing residential prospects after 15 years of their interconnections. The tariff wouldn't apply to low-income prospects. The fee had initially scheduled a vote on Jan. 27 but the agenda for next Thursday’s assembly had no merchandise listing the proposed determination on what’s colloquially known as NEM 3.0, or more formally, the online Energy Metering tariff. Others within the NEM 3.0 debate have made comparable arguments, including The Utility Reform Network, a client group; the Natural Resources Defense Council, a distinguished environmental group; UC Berkeley energy economist Severin Borenstein; and a few legislators in Sacramento who cited fairness points for purchasers who can’t afford to put in rooftop photo voltaic. Establishing a $600 million Equity Fund to help clear vitality. Energy storage packages for low-earnings Californians. Providing a 10-year payback interval for customers who add power storage to their solar programs. Under web energy metering, when a rooftop solar system generates extra vitality than the homeowner or enterprise truly consumes, the surplus could be sent again to the utilities through the grid and customers receive credit on their bills.

Reynolds had been the Newsom administration’s senior energy adviser. Another vacancy is ready to be filled by Newsom’s appointment of former CPUC staffer John Reynolds, who isn't any relation to Alice Reynolds. Newsom’s remarks have fed speculation that amendments could also be made to the 204-page proposed decision or that a separate, alternate proposal could also be written that commissioners could also consider. You may have even needed to follow one particular cord via the seemingly not possible snarl to the outlet, hoping that the plug you pull shall be the proper one. Also, customers who set up photo voltaic after March 1 will pay a one-time fee of $475 to attach their solar panels to SMUD’s system. California’s investor-owned utilities for years have been calling for modifications to NEM, saying the present policy leaves customers who don’t have rooftop photo voltaic paying a disproportionate quantity of the mounted costs that come with operating the electrical system - issues like wires, substations and transformers. The standard rooftop system is about 5 to 6 kilowatts so the charge would come to about $forty to $forty eight per thirty days for San Diego Gas & Electric clients. Disadvantaged households could be exempt from paying the grid participation cost. Making a “grid participation charge” of $eight per kilowatt on the photo voltaic programs of residential clients.
In an unsurprising move, the California Public Utilities Commission has postponed a vote on a controversial proposal that will dramatically change the best way the state’s 1.Three million rooftop solar prospects get compensated when their techniques produce extra electricity than they devour. Instead of receiving the retail price of electricity, they'd receives a commission at the “actual avoided price,” which is way decrease. Altering how a lot solar clients are paid when they ship power again to the grid. The purpose is that by deploying storage, clients will assist scale back strain on the grid during the 6 p.m. As reported by The Sacramento Bee, clients with existing methods will proceed to obtain the higher credit score via 2030 and won’t must pay the one-time price. Hey so apparently there was a line in Man VS Machine that Vincent was close with Commissioner and as someone who forgot about that line (breathes in)
That gives….a lot to think about

i need 2 distract myself from This at least a LITTLE bit so. have more cpucs headcanons lmao. please enjoy while i try not 2 have a panic attack </3
-parsec falcon HAS gone to jail before. He had so so many unpaid speeding tickets. He met Toyconvict there & they hit it off surprisingly well. They kinda drifted apart over time, but reconnected during the Vincent Saga. They lost contact again during the war, but probably would have reconnected after if. y’know. Parsec wasn’t deceased.
-Parsec Falcon was very much a rule breaker just. In general. He kinda had his own code of honor, & would not pay very good attention to basically any other ruleset. Not out of malice, he just. didn’t seem 2 always understand that actions have consequences.
-i kinda mentioned this in my last episode of rambling when i was talking about Dark Vince, but in general the Dark Realm fighters are just their Light Realm counterparts (if they have a counterpart) but completely unhinged. More than usual, i mean. No morals, less likely to care about Anyone Ever, they just kinda do whatever the fuck they want unless someone stronger (usually the commissioner) tells them not to. & even then, watch out.
-most of the miscellaneous Dark Realmers speak 4 themselves, but 1 i want 2 talk about a lil more is Dark Samus bc i have Opinions abt them. Namely, that the Dark Samus that shows up early in the Vincent Saga is just the suit, with nothing inside it. Like how Samus & her suit ended up literally fighting each other in a post-endgame match? Like that. The “real” Dark Samus is calling the shots from somewhere back in the Dark Realm- she’s not as much of a frontline fighter as her counterpart is. The Dark Suit kinda has a personality of its own, but not much. Its mostly just no thoughts head empty i am already shooting you.
-naomi has done more damage to the dark realm than she- or any other Light Realmer, for that matter- is aware of. Who knew that one stolen gun could cause such a setback? No i will not elaborate on this. Yet. :)
-this bit isnt a solid headcanon YET bc i love Dark “gives no shits about anyone” Vince so so much, but. Hear me out. Dark Vince is secretly pining 4 Tony. this would not affect basically anything bc Dark Vince would very much bottle up his emotions abt it, but Just Think About It, ok?
-ok its Time 2 Get Sad. Tony saw what happened to Vincent. Firsthand. After losing his match to Matt, he snuck off to try and fight Vincent anyways despite being eliminated, bc Thats What He Does. His plan was to ambush Vincent as soon as his next match ended, so no one would have time 2 stop him from trying to fight Vincent for the millionth time. This plan, of course, hinged entirely on Vincent winning his next match. I think we all know what happened instead. Tony has not told anyone that this happened bc he ALSO bottles up his emotions very much. Get some therapy king <3
-Tony/Toyconvict wasn’t with the Dark Realm for long before Endgame, but during that time he got surprisingly close with Dark Vince & Blood Falcon. (or at least, he felt like they were close) It was almost like he was getting to spend time with his friends, without having to be actively fighting them. It wasn’t exactly the same, of course, but it was… kinda nice, not having to fight them in order to be around them. Of course, that all went away when Blood Falcon killed Parsec and Vincent on Dark Vince’s orders.
-ok back 2 funny stuff now. plant holds wisdom beyond all mortal comprehension. No it will not share ANY of this wisdom with ANYONE. It could if it wanted to, but it simply Does Not Want To. This goes 4 all piranha plants across all canons, btw <3
-the Commissioner is not necessarily from the Dark Realm. Where is he from, then? Who the hell knows
-wii fit trainer has A brain cell sometimes. Just one. She & Zelda low-key consider each other rivals for the coveted position of The Smart One.
-no one in the CPUCS is cishet <3

The CPUCL is here!
In Character: Hello, Zecro from the 5th dimension here! I am the creator, manager and commissioner of the CPU Challenger League! A series level 9 CPU tournaments, intended as a spiritual successor to Alpharads CPUCS series (If he allows It, I will take this down if he asks me to, promise!). I will post most of my updates here and I will post all the video links here! I hope you all will enjoy! : D
Out of Character:
Hello! I am just someone from Sweden who was a big fan of Alpharads CPUCS series and wanted to make my own similar series for fun! I hope to capture the fun that series provided, or at the very least fill the void for the people still in the fanbase. Though I am in no way near as skilled of a content creator as Alpharad, but I hope It's a least entertaining. All my posts will either be written in character or out of character, and I'll make sure to differentiate them so It doesn't get confused. All in character posts are intended to be canon.

Excerpt:
In a 5-0 vote Thursday, the California Public Utilities Commission swept aside a $639 million project proposed by San Diego Gas & Electric and Southern California Gas to build a 47-mile natural gas pipeline between Rainbow and Miramar.
The utilities had argued a new 36-inch-wide pipeline would largely replace a 16-inch line constructed nearly 70 years ago, saying it would improve safety, system reliability and resiliency while also adding capacity to the gas system in the San Diego area.
But all five commissioners dispensed with the project in a matter of minutes, citing a proposed decision issued last month by a CPUC administrative law judge who said the project was unnecessary.
“The decision finds there is no need for a new pipeline of this size proposed because the gap in supply for the next few years is relatively small and (SDG&E) does have tools at its disposal that have not yet been explored that could potentially be used to fill that supply gap,” said commissioner Liane Randolph moments before the vote was taken.
Opponents of the project, which included a number of environmental organizations, hailed the decision.
“We know that to achieve California’s climate goals we need to stop building new fossil fuel infrastructure and leave fossil fuels in the ground,” said Stephanie Corkran, a volunteer campaigner with SanDiego350, who traveled to San Francisco to attend the CPUC hearing.
In May, administrative law judge Colette E. Kersten, in her 130-page proposed decision, concluded SDG&E and SoCalGas “have not shown why it is necessary to build a very costly pipeline to substantially increase gas pipeline capacity in an era of declining demand and at a time when the state of California is moving away from fossil fuels.”

Elon Musk and Bill Walton voice their opposition to proposed California solar rule changes
Tesla’s Elon Musk and solar evangelist Bill Walton called on California officials to reject proposed changes to the state’s residential solar rooftop rules.
Not mincing words, Musk called the proposal a “bizarre anti-environment move” by state regulators. Tesla launched a web page for customers to use to voice their opposition to the plan to Governor Gavin Newsom and the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC).
And Walton, a former NBA star who is now a solar advocate, issued a letter calling on Newsom to reject the CPUC’s proposed decision on rooftop solar.
In his letter, which was released by Stellar Solar, Walton wrote that this “problem” and its “ridiculous proposed ‘solution'” were created by the state’s investor-owned utilities and fossil fuel industries. He said those interests tried to move a similar plan through the state legislature last summer. That effort failed as the proposed solar reform measure never made it to a vote.
Musk and Walton are the latest solar energy advocates who have reacted strongly to proposed changes to California’s net metering program. Residential solar developer Sunrun in its initial response appeared to frame a potential federal-level challenge to the proposal, which was issued December 13 and is scheduled for a January 27 vote.
“The proposal includes a raft of complex changes which, if approved, would put rooftop solar far out of reach for millions of Californians,” said Susannah Churchill, Vote Solar’s Western Senior Regional Director. “By drastically reducing monthly solar savings and adding new solar-only fees for the majority of residential solar users, the proposal will move us backward on clean energy and block many Californians’ ability to help make our grid more resilient to climate change.”
The proposed decision determined that net energy metering must be modernized to “incentivize customers to install storage paired with rooftop solar” to help California meet its net peak shortfall and ensure grid reliability.
The approach would adopt what the Commission said would be “more accurate price signals” to promote greater adoption of customer-sited storage. Increased storage is intended to help the state cut its reliance on fossil fuels during early evening hours, when the sun is down and energy demand is still high.
The California Solar & Storage Association was quick to criticize the proposal, saying that regulators appear to have “sided with PG&E and the other large investor-owned utilities.” It said the approach would “make rooftop solar and customer-owned batteries more expensive and therefore out of reach of working- and middle-class consumers.”
The group planned to hold two “Save Our Solar Jobs” rallies on January 13, one in San Francisco and one in Los Angeles.
Developer Sunrun issued a multi-page rebuttal to the draft rules under the signature of its CEO and co-founder Edward Fenster. The statement said the proposal “represents California politics at its worst” and favors “propping up failed and stodgy incumbents.”
The company also charged that the proposal’s fixed fees on solar customers “likely violate” the Public Utilities Regulatory Policies Act (PURPA) and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Order No. 69. Fenster said that because solar customers have net energy consumption consistent with many other utility customers, the CPUC “cannot assess fixed fees on solar customers without also assessing those fees on similarly profitable customers without solar systems.”
He said that in June, two FERC commissioners, including Chair Richard Glick, issued an opinion that there was a “strong case” that a state’s proposed fees for solar customers failed to adhere to these federal regulations. In the wake of the opinion, state regulators removed its fixed charge for solar customers and utilities in both North and South Carolina and adopted rates with no fixed fees for most all residential solar systems.
Fenster’s argument could form the basis for a future challenge of California’s approach, should the full commission approve the proposal at its January meeting.
In its initial review of the proposal, the California Solar & Storage Association said that the rate paid for solar exported to the grid would be around 5 cents/kWh, down from the current 20-30 cents/kWh for residential customers. It said that the proposed plan included no transition glide path, meaning that the full reduction likely would take effect as soon as the new rules were implemented.
Sunrun’s Fenster said that with the advent of bidirectional electric vehicle chargers, the export rate for evening power needs to be greater than the overnight retail (import) rate, and that the benefits of exporting must “more than offset” the fixed fees assessed for the right to export.
He said that if the first condition is not met, then solar+storage customers will consume from their batteries only enough power in the evening to offset their usage. If the second condition is not met, he warned that solar+storage customers “will not elect to pay the fixed fees” — perhaps as much as $700 a year — that “entitle them to export power in the first place.”
Fenster warned that, “No rational customer installing a solar and storage system would take service under the proposed rate structure because it significantly reduces compensation for exported electricity and imposes high monthly fees.” He predicted that customers may elect to export none of their power to the grid, and could opt to leave the grid entirely.
