An Apology // Insincere For a person like me, it's not always crystal clear — what they want. I am attached with you for a moment, then I fade away the next instant. Some days, you'll feel that I'm sticking to you, creeping up on you at moments. While the other days, I'll just be gone in the dark; Impossible to reach. At days, I'd stay awake at night till the dawn, thinking about you and thinking of all the ways I could have done things. How I'd let the night hold the sail of my thoughts, then let remorse of the past take over. For a person like me, it's hard to show affection, as words are all I know; and have. For I try to be as humane as possible, but I barely touch the threshold. For when I try to get a hold of the glee of people, I only do the harm. Trying to patch up the wounds of others, I end up creating new ones. Compassion— doesn't show up on my actions, no matter how hard I push myself. So, I'm sorry. For being distant on days, for seeming glum in your company even, for pushing you away when I don't understand how to process everything. I'm sorry, but on some days, you'll find me.
