I'M ALIVE!! I've just been doing a lot of personal stuff.

Full doodle sheet + some close ups below!! I'm thinking about making the Vanilla line slug cats (Survivor, Monk, and Hunter drawings) as a little keychain. Same with the Slugcat holding a Pink Lizard, the Red Lizard and POSSIBLY Centi-NSH.

The Pink lizard on the top of the canvas is in reference to "Pinkie", a lizard that I've tamed in my 2nd/3rd Survivor campaign that was a complete dumbass, constantly getting targeted by Vultures throughout my run (still loved em though. Killing all of those Vultures got me so many Vulture Masks).

Valeria’s and Laswell’s Wife Gets Hurt Because of their Job

Valeria: Whoever hurt you will wind up tortured and eventually, once she thinks they’ve had enough of their miserable life, will wind up dead. Naturally, the first thing she does is check up on you, see if you’re alright and well, that’s her priority. You’re the love of her life, there’s no one else in this world she wants to see do well. You’ll be admitted to the best hospital nearby and will only get the finest treatment. Once you’re stabilized, that’s when the hunt begins. Whoever hurt you won’t get too far since that bastard’s life will be on the line. Regardless of where they might be hiding, Valeria will find them and show them that death is actually a kind of mercy. She has pretty much everything at her disposal, everything money can buy, this sucker won’t know what hit them. If it’s revenge they want, then revenge they’ll get. Valeria promises you that their head will be on a silver plate. She’s not very good with words when it comes to comforting someone, but she will have that person killed in the most cruel ways she can imagine. In fact, she’ll take the pleasure of torturing them upon herself. Once she’s done, she’ll take some days off, which is surprising since she usually can’t afford that at all. You’ll be under her direct care for those days. Anything you want you’ll get. Afterwards there will be a slight shift in her demeanor, Valeria becomes more protective over you. Sometimes she might even assign some trusted people of hers to watch over you since she can’t afford something like that happening again. While she can’t always take some days off, she’ll try to be closer to you anyway. Always texting you, finding excuses to come home for a day maybe. She just really needs to make sure you’re okay, she wouldn’t know what to do with herself if you died.

Laswell: Laswell will try to be a bit more diplomatic about it at first, trying to coax whoever hurt you out of hiding. This person will be held accountable for their crimes against her world. Naturally, she rescues you first, gets you to the nearest hospital and won’t leave your side until you’re stable again. If it takes you a while to wake up again, she’ll leave to find the fucker and make sure they swim with the fishes. She has a pretty large, efficient network and will find out who it was fairly easily. Once she knows who they are, she won’t hesitate to find out all their past crimes as well, if they hurt you then they must have done some other awful things as well. Once that phase is over, she’ll go to their home herself and have them arrested, put in the worst prison imaginable where the inmates are treated especially badly. She won’t kill them, but she wouldn’t be surprised if they wind up dead anyway. Laswell usually isn’t an evil person, but she does hope that person dies during their time. Their sentence will be as long as possible so there’s no chance of them ever seeing the sunlight again either. Once all of this is over, she, too, would take some days off to spend with you. You’re a priority above all else, so Laswell will want to be there for you, no matter the cost. While she usually isn’t, depending on how severely you got hurt she might become a bit overbearing, a bit overprotective. That overprotectiveness will last for a few months, afterwards she’ll try to give you some space again. However, she’ll always be keeping a closer eye on you, always texting or calling you every once in a while to make sure you’re okay. If she needs to, she’ll put you under her protection officially, but the situation needs to be dire for that to happen. Either way, she’ll be keeping you safe.

I just rewatched Bad and Aypierre’s conversation about the “dirt” and this gave us so much insight into Bad’s current mindset in regards to Ron.

Bad once again called Ron valuable and family and that he’s gotten attached but his biggest problem at the moment is that Ron’s become a liability because the federation misses Ron and Tubbo is snooping.

I think that when Bad made this plan so long ago, he didn’t expect himself to actually latch onto the worker he stole. I suspect that it was always his plan to break Ron then Stockholm syndrome him - Bad himself getting attached was the unexpected factor.

Someone was eventually bound to realize Ron was missing and it was only a matter of time before one of the other islanders figured out something was wrong. Bad got all the info he needed from Ron (that blue hat workers have the info he wants) and now he’s become a liability. Before Bad got attached, he was probably planning on just killing Ron to solve that problem but now that he actually cares, he can’t. And that’s the root of the current dilemma. He didn’t plan for this.

He’s enlisted Baghera’s help knowing her good heart would force her to protect Ron for him. He asked Aypierre for advice in fooling the federation to get them off his/Ron’s back. He needs to get rid of Ron because he’s moved past his usefulness, but Bad doesn’t want any more harm to come to him which means he has to change his plans and ask for help.

I mentioned in a different analysis post that Bad was bringing Baghera into the loop so that she would take Ron off his hands and I still think that’s true. Ron is a distraction and a liability. He can’t afford to deal with this problem himself since he’s dealing with twenty other chess pieces already so he’s pushing it onto Baghera.

He played his part well insisting that she would have to promise not to interfere - which he knew she would never agree to - and insisting Ron was happy here - he even has a pool table! - so that Baghera would come to the conclusion on her own. If Bad told her that he needed her help dealing with Ron, she would insist that he help her come up with a solution. But, if Bad resists the idea then she’ll take the entire burden on her own shoulders and leave Bad’s hands free to focus on capturing Fred. I mentioned before that Bad was clearly manipulating Baghera during this conversation - and the convo today - and I think this is why.

At the end of the day, I don’t think Bad would sacrifice his over arching plans for Ron. He’s adapting his plan as best he can to protect Ron but if/when the time comes and Ron is discovered/killed/sacrificed I think Bad will do what needs to be done to continue with his grand plans. He’s already accepted that burning his relationships is a necessary sacrifice. I don’t think he’ll let Ron distract him but it’ll just add to the fire already burning him alive.

zathuda is an interesting character to attempt to gage at this point. he is a vanguard general but very, very clearly is not as close to otohan/liliana/ludinus as they are to each other, and even got his ass handed to him in campaign 3 episode 47 when he tried to threaten ludinus, and otohan unfazedly called him arrogant & incompetent - and is if the universe wanted to laugh at him seeing lud as inefficient, he has now TWICE not noticed his own child destroy ludinus's work he was meant to guard. he's haggard & scruffy & unhappy away from the fey on an alien moon. he can't intimidate anyone here when half the reilorans are taller than him and he hates telepathy, the main source of communication on this mission. he's clearly aware of his out of place nature and lashes out in emotional shouts of dominance at his soldiers. he's a deadbeat baby daddy. he is by all means the actual "cringefail" general who fanon should have a field day with. and yet even despite that, he commands incredible fear. he rides a goddamn jabberwock, had incredibly emotionally manipulative sway over birdie (& perhaps yu), and the fact that ira, the self-made nightmare king, seemed completely stock-still anxious as if he were seeing his own nightmares before him, says a thousand words. he is the sorrowlord for a reason.

all this to say i think that that intersection of truths, especially in this ep with his unhidden ragged exhaustion in front of his troops and goddamn kruth, implies he can be deadly competent, but chafes under the vanguard and the worst instincts it brings out in him, that he's allowed to show, which is a blight on their plot. and it poses a reality thats fascinating: if there's a general, and more importantly a parent, in the vanguard who would consider an alliance or hesitate, especially after tonight's events, it's absolutely not liliana anymore, if you catch my drift.

Its takes Selûne (the moon) 30 days, 10 hours, and 30 minutes to make one full revolution around Toril and since the moons rotation and revolution are equal, one day is also the same amount of time.

With each revolution being about a month that means 100 cycles = 100 months = 8 years and 4 months
