Doodle Set of my chunky hats!! This was probably my favourite set to make. Originally the white band was just to fix the fact that the contrast of other yarns wasn’t stark enough for the doodles to show up, but I love the effect it gave them in the end, especially the jam-jar fruit ones :D
Sadly these hats have have been sold, but many others are available on my etsy and will still arrive in time for Christmas!! Please consider supporting me, and getting a one-of-a-kind hat to warm you or your loved ones’ head!!

There's a little extra room in the cups, but overall, I think I nailed it.
The trick to sizing up the bottoms is to add all the extra inches you need on the back. Just make the front according to pattern and subtract that from your hip measurement. Then, add however many extra inches you need to fit the back, and figure out a good increase layout and off you go!
You'll need size #3 thread (I used WeCrochet Curio) and a 3.25mm hook. Pattern is here (or you can message me).
Also, enjoy this very low effort very pin up shot:

I made a little WIP travel bag using up the remainder of my bi pride yarn. I wanted a small container for a granny square project I can easily keep at hand so I can crochet instead of staring at my phone when I get bored out in the world.
The stitch is a weirdo double-crochet variant: Instead of inserting the hook into the top of the next stitch, the hook is inserted into the bottom half of the dc and worked normally thereafter. It produces a dense knit-esque result.
Cat tax because Polaris couldn't bear to not be the center of attention.

eeek so… I’m wearing the new Children’s ministry logo…
There was so much I got to learn about digital art and it’s little antics. Learning about art getting printed… I’m so blessed and honoured with it all.
I hope God will continue to open doors for me as I do art for Him. I hope more than anything that my motives are to give Him the glory… it isn’t about me at all, I’m am but a vessel. May He be glorified in it all.

Braided Ear Warmer
I used a pattern I found online (linked below!) with a similar theme for reference, but modified to match the yarn I had:
Row 1: 60 foundation half-double crochet (fhdc)
Row 2: 60 half-double crochet (hdc)
Tumblr media
Repeated x4 to make four strands.
The next steps more-or-less followed the pattern, with 2 rows single crochet (12 sc/row, 3 per strand) to connect the strands at one end.
Tumblr media
Then, braided together; connected with single crochets on the other end; and whip stitched the two ends together.

The yarn I used:

Final Photographs of Deconstruction Garment Project:
The final photographs from the photoshoot we did.I am happy with the outcome and I learned a lot about how garments look in professional lighting and camera.I am very proud of myself as I had never made anything like this before and I think I did very well for my first project.I really like how I styled my piece and I think the hair and makeup photographed well.I would’ve liked for the fit of the top to be better as it slightly stickers out in the front and I would’ve liked it to lie flat.Overall I really enjoyed the process from going from sketches to mannequin to final garment and I am happy with how it came together.

This is a skirt I finished weeks ago. I've been working on this piece for a few months. It first started as a tube top. I love how it ended up.

It’s done! It’s done it’s done it’s done!!!
I’m so happy with how this sketchbook turned out, it’s not the neatest binding I’ve ever done, but I think it looks really good!

And the spine!
Tumblr media
This is my first time doing both open spine and embroidery, so yea I’m proud of it
I do with id used a darker colour thread for the binding though, it would have made it pop more

Made a Friend
Tumblr media
Here is the pattern; it includes knitting instructions as well!
This guy was fun. But.
BUT.
WHAT IS THE ENTIRE FUCKING POINT OF HAVING ESTABLISHED YARN WEIGHT IF THE SUPER BULKY (6) I USE VERSUS THE SUPER BULKY (ALSO 6) RECOMMENEDED LEAD TO A BASICALLY A MINIATURE VERSION OF THE SAME GODDAMN PROJECT.
::breathes in hard::
Don't get me wrong. Love my little dude. The pattern worked up exactly as advertised. But, BECAUSE YARN WEIGHTS ARE SUPPOSED TO MEAN SOMETHING, I thought he'd be, you know, the fucking size laid out in the pattern. BECAUSE I USED THE SAME YARN WEIGHT AND HOOK SIZE.
And yet.
YET.
Anyway, use Bernat Blanket like the pattern says or your own Yip-Yip will not be large enough to hold towels like you fucking planned for to make your bathroom even more perfect.
(He's a good boy. I love him. BUT.)
