❇️Cancer Juno often has a nagging, a bit complaining partner that demanding. I think Cancer placements will do a lot of providing and effort, however they are even more demanding in return. They will keep you safe, as long as you are doing your own part of them, which is not always an easy task.

❇️I noticed people with Libra over the 4th house (also Libra IC, IC at a Libra degree (7, 19) tend to mingle with a lot of posh people at least at some point in life. Their friends might even consider the Libra 4th house native as posh. These people often either went to the top school in the country, had the opportunities to mingle with high profile people in their younger years.

❇️Capricorn over the 4th house and Capricorn over the 7th house are few of the most regimented people I've observed. They usually had a strict school schedule that they had to keep up with, lots of clubs and extracurricular activities. They also sometimes appear a bit socially awkward due to so many schedules, like you get the feel like the person was just busy a lot of the times and didn't have as much free time as perhaps others.

❇️Pisces Moon people, especially if it's also in the 12th house and Pisces IC people have a tendency to rely on assistance. Like someone from the family, a friend, a partner. They might have been a bit co-dependent on a parent. The parent might had the need to be wanted/needed all the time, so they did things instead of the child (the Pisces native). Which ended up making the Pisces native lost, disoriented and not having the know how when left on his or her own devices. Due to this early family pattern, they are often not aware of being prone to this dynamic even with closest friends or a partner.

❇️Saturn Juno all aspects, Capricorn Juno and Capricorn Moon are types to "be married to the job".

❇️People sometimes don't read Ascendant signs well. Ascendant sign very literally indicates people that will come your way throughout your life. If you are Cancer Ascendant, be sure that a lot of people with Cancer Sun/Sun in the 4th house/Sun at Cancer degree (4, 16, 28) will pass you in this lifetime. Even mundane as a cashier at the store, buddy on your volleyball team, a person who does your nails.

❇️8th house Synastry really gets you in your feels. You might not even view yourself as emotional or needy before, but then you unleash all your emotional nature and neediness at once on that person.

❇️Speaking of 8th house Synastry don't underestimate your 8th house sign. You might think you will experience 8th house type of connection only with your 8th house sign. If you have 8th house Taurus, you might have 8th house connection with Taurus Sun, but also with the opposite sign too, such as Scorpio Sun. You are very deeply fascinated by 8th house sign, but also the opposite sign too. So if you have Cancer 8th house, you are fascinated by both Cancer and Capricorn.

❇️If you have Aquarius/Uranus in the 8th house or Uranus Pluto aspect, the people you want to establish a deep trusted bond with, be physically intimate with, might instead want to make you their best friend. People really want to be best friend with you so you can stay in their life as long as possible. These natives might on the other hand be blessed with friends that they have known for decades, like 20, 25 years.

❇️People with Libra Mars don't have a hard time channeling heartbreak into artistic masterpieces.

❇️You could have Cancer MC with your first love in the Composite chart.

❇️Friends often vent to you about their partner or they come to you for partnership/love advice if you have Libra over the 11th house or Venus in the 11th house and Libra Fama.

❇️Whenever there is Moon in the 8th house in Synastry there is a lot of attraction in the early stages, but then one (usually the Moon person) ends up feeling inferior, especially due to 8th house person being so successful.

❇️I noticed it can happen that you come back together if you started dating someone during Venus retrograde. But it's more likely you don't get back together if you decide to break up during Venus retrograde.

❇️If you have Aries over the 7th house in your Natal chart you might always have new opportunities to gain more money right after ending a partnership. You come into more money right after ending a partnership.

⚘ I’ve noticed every friendship I’ve that ended up other me cutting them out had their Chiron on my 12H. could mean searching for your path, like taking conscious for what direction their friendship is going.

⚘ I have a twin and we have the same birth chart: our synastry is horrible. jk but there’s a lot of conjunctions -exact positions-, conjunctions are not always ideal, a lot less when it’s in excess. not if you’re searching for a deep relationship. there’s a lot of boredom and conflict. for example, ascendant conjunction ascendant can bring superficiality and from one part trying to be peaceful, without expressing themselves truthfully, delivering to boredom from both parts.

⚘ venus opposition moon: venus can feel the moon is too distant, as if they have wall in front of them. the way venus wish the moon shows their love and care for them is not as they expected. venus has to somehow try to understand -if they want the relationship to advance- not everyone shows love the same way. also moon needs to exteriorize or help the moon: not only venus to do all the work.

⚘ their lilith (mean) on 12H means the lilith person embrace what 12H represents on the house persons's life. their spirituality, their subconscious. to be more in tune with it. for example, ik two people with this synastry and the lilith person is very spiritual, they even have payed for medium sessions for the house person -doesn’t have to be that specific, spirituality can be expressed in different ways-.

𑁍 the ascendant says a lot in a composite chart, it’s the vibe, how they unfold between each other. for example, if the ascendant is in aquarius, while time passes, they learn to enjoy and embrace the goofiness of each other, they spend a good time and are comfortable with each other.

𑁍 also, the degree of the ascendant it’s important. it explains how they react to things in general, how they solve their problems in pair. for example, if there’s aries degree, it says that there’s a part of individuality here, aries reminds me of someone who can get carried away by their impulses and leadership traits, they want to do their thing, on their own. one of the pair it’s feeling left out in some kinda way. not saying all the time but in a specific topic, there’s more information if you between the dots reading the chart.

𑁍 jupiter conjunction venus tells in this relationship they can bring positivity and joy between each other, they help each other to get out of hard/emo times. they could have survived together from different groups.

𑁍 10H stellium can tell they share the same vision, goal drive. the both of them are focused on their careers and success, they agree that’s first on their life.

𑁍 saturn square neptune 1° orb: there’s tension between focusing on what’s necessary and what’s what they want, their dreams or main goals can be postponed or realized later on life, together. lack of discipline?

𑁍 north node opposition saturn: they’re meant to have difficulties with understanding the order of the other, their attitude towards authorities, their goals, their ethics are different.

𑁍 taurus 11H stellium can tell this relationship is build by the same values and it’s more likely to be a friendship than another type of relationship. they’re more conservative and protective of each other, I’ve also noticed they’re able to give each other space when the other needs it or to not be too persistent between each other. also they can gossip A LOT. they can literally see each other just for the yap.

𑁍 chiron square mars 0° orb: there are issues to being direct in what they’re annoyed, to fight and to not escape, they probably want to be in peace and focus on it, not remembering that treating the problem together can be more beneficial. the orb makes an emphasis. while time passes, they’re meant to reach balance, in other words, to learn from this and take action.

Summary: On Scaramouche’s pathway toward godhood, you worked in the shadows cast by his glory. You were an assistant of Il Dottore but a crucial one especially after you were granted the opportunity to work with the rising god for two weeks during his divine preparations. Too bad the God in question had no ounce of gratefulness , or anything at all, to spare for you and so you worked through your bitterness and guilt for having the harbinger be so vulnerable in your hands.

Starring: Wanderer/Scaramouche

“I owe you the utmost gratitude for your expert execution of my research. I would not expect anything less from my most capable student.” The Doctor’s words to you were eloquent and purposeful as you walked together through the dim hallway. Fluorescent runway lights glared down at you, and your hair cast shadows onto your face.

Your shoulders were tense from two things: The first, the remnants of snow on your coat from the snezhnayan winter outside and the second being your anticipation for Dottore’s next words.

“Your hard work rewarded us with success,” he said. “Scaramouche responded very well to the treatment and we have reached a very big milestone in my research.”

Your gaze lowered at these words. You could not say you were disappointed but at the same time you were not delighted, not when you were returning back to the same laboratory without the ability to reign power over The balladeer that you had previously for two weeks.

The days you spent alone with him were more aggravating than Scaramouche himself. The constant hum of the machinery connected to the harbinger throughout did nothing to help preserve your fragile sanity. Instead what kept you together was your handling of the harbinger’s puppet limbs and connecting them to various cords filled with a dark purple liquid that Dottore refused to dive deeper into when you inquired about it’s composition.

Who cares though? Scaramouche was never kind to you, he would not spare you a single glance, not even a spiteful comment no matter how much you tried to force a reaction from him.

Even then, under your mercy, he did not react. He neither reacted when you chained him to the table as you explained the steps in the procedure nor did he react when he watched you inject his body with a chemical that would shut off his consciousness.

However, your disappointment faded to bliss when you reached the most anticipated part of the two week procedure: the separation.

His skin was soft, his body lithe but cold. He reminded you of a corpse and this comparison made it easy for you to handle his body parts like scientific instruments. The ball joints were perfectly rounded and you thought; the electro archon must have been a genius for being able to create such an advanced being. On the third day of monitoring his body parts, you had enough courage to trace your fingers over his bodiless hand.

He was in pieces.

Even though his limbs were seperated but he didn’t bleed. He had no organs like any human you’ve seen and dissected, he was something different. A puppet: that’s what the doctor would call him but but the term never left your lips in fear of dehumanizing the one person who reminded your heart to beat. By the fifth day you had been comfortable enough to confide in a detached head about your grievances:

“You make me suffer without doing anything.” You said as you noted down a few things. “Sometimes I wish to be on the receiving ends of your cruelity because it’s something.” You turned to face his head, his eyes closed as expected and he remained expressionless. It was easier to appreciate his beauty like this, you thought. “But you give me nothing and I hate it.”

He was in pieces.

His demise was supposed to uplift you and give you a moment of victory, but it filled you with dispair. Scaramouche, even in his vulnerable state and in his demise, was able to make you feel more human than you ever had… because there was not a single day of that fortnight you went through without battling a mix of intense joy and despair.

He was in pieces… and only you could put him back together.

Dottore kept his gaze ahead of him in the face of your obvious silence.

“You do not seem delighted,” he began, “Does the survival of my test subject displease you? I have noticed your ongoing feud with him, so that would not be peculiar in this case.”

“I’m satisfied with our success.” You noticed you were nearing the laboratory. “Is the harbinger conscious?” You asked, feigning disinterest to whatever answer he would give but you hung onto his every intake of breath, you would not miss a single word.

Seeing Scaramouche in that state did feel unnatural. His lashes brushed against his pale cheekbones. His soft hair sometimes rising on its own because of the electrical currents he was exposed to throughout the entire procedure. A head without a body.

He was in pieces and you were glad that you put him back together in the end.

“Why would he be unconscious when he was conscious the entire time, hm?”

How you wished you could tear him apart again.

Your guilt bubbled over into anger the moment you registered his words and this was as soon as you entered the laboratory. Scaramouche’s eyes met yours, his expression smug and egocentric.

He tilted his head to the side in mockery. “What’s with the long face?”

Astrology Observations #5!!!

This one is shorter :^] the next couple of posts are gonna be more focused on silly lil things like healing and art and maybe money. Also I'm NOT! a professional this one is the goofiest of all take it with like salt but a tiny tiny lil speck. Not even a grain.

Mars in 8th house may naturally be able to make money. Transiting 8th house is a good time to make/deal with other people's money, and in your solar return it can point to getting money from others. The sign can tell you how.

Jupiter in 2nd house also has a knack for getting money. Jupiter can imply a jack of all trades, so hopping from thing to thing in order to make money.

Aquarius Placements can be fans of hyperpop. Like I kinda associate Leo with pop, so Aquarius is the same just more eccentric.

Fixed Star Regulus (Leo 29°) points to fame/naturally attracting attention. Specially if they're conjunct* a planet. But it can also point to it flipping if you abuse your power. For example, if your sun is conjunct Regulus, you may garner attention easy due to your personality and natural glow, however if you let your ego get the better of you and abuse your power, people will hate you for said personality and think that you're a terrible person period.

(This will probably get a separate post) but Venus can tell where you should do your art. Example: Venus in 4th house can mean you'd like to be at home/do home decor.

On the same note, If you're an artist (or would like to be one and don't know where to start), Venus can tell you your art style. Example, Venus in 2nd house Sagittarius can point to having an art style that takes a lot of inspiration from overseas artists, along with having multiple art styles (and since the house is ruled by Taurus, and Taurus rules Venus, it could be very elegant no matter what style you go with).

Mars in 12th house natives refuse to be mad. They may also refuse to let people see them upset (Example asking "did I talk to much" or "sorry I'm just upset" at tiny things). The same goes for Synastry and Composite charts. In Synastry it can show the planet person refusing to get angry at the house person for the first couple of years. Composite can show extremely passive aggressive fighting/the silent treatment.

North Node in 6th house will always do acts of service, even if they fight it. They may end up in a job where they protect someone from something, or end up taking care of the elderly. Even if you're an author, it will still be servicing to entertain other people. It's one of the most inevitable North Nodes imo.

Uranus in 3rd can indicate being bullied by peers in earlier school (pre-high school) and finding success after traveling for college/higher education. You may also may go into technology based jobs. Especially social media based.

South Node can tell you about your past life, and aspects can tell you a lot about it. Using my chart as an example, I have 11th house Pluto conjunct my South Node, sextile my Venus in 8th house, and every astrologer I've seen joked that I was a witch burned at the stake.

Squares to natal chart Neptune can tell you where your illusions are/where you may work hard to break illusions. For example, Neptune in 11th square your Mercury could mean that you have illusions about how your friends see you/talk about you, and their opinions on your dreams. It could also mean you work hard to prove your goals are worthy in the eyes of others, and aim for verbal praise.

Venus square Ascendant may have a fashion style/beauty standards that aren't the standard for the time.

The house Jupiter is in can show where your natural glow is. Jupiter in 10th can show a natural glow in your career/you get more attention than your peers. 4th can show you glow the most while at home or get the most attention in your family.

Pallas in Virgo can show a a talent for listening and paying attention.

Antoine had slept later than he intended to. By the time he began to stir, the sunshine had progressed from its early position across the floorboards onto the plaid comforter of their bed and the stripes of his pajama pants. He turned to reach for Zelda but found her gone. Rather than panic, he opened his eyes to a room now grown increasingly familiar. 

Spider webs had disappeared from the corners and their trunks now sat in the places they had once claimed. The iron bedframe’s creak came as a comfort rather than a surprise, and the woman he sought stood in front of him, already in an apron and looking down at the few belongings she had already unpacked.

She turned to smile at him, “Good morning, city boy. I thought you’d never wake. I’ve already been down to see the situation with the soil. It’s not as bad as Giorgio believes, or at least I hope, but I don’t know if it will ever be capable of achieving his dreams of grand success.”

He reached his hand out toward her and she walked over, continuing the train of thoughts that was still fresh in her mind, “He may need to switch crops, or I can see about the water quality of the stream, maybe digging some sort of trench, experimenting with the old well…”

She kept on, discussing soil quality and techniques with more expertise than Antoine thought she was capable of. He tried his hardest to listen to every word, but his thoughts trailed off as she absentmindedly ran her hand down his arm. As she spoke he continued to pull her closer, with the single goal of coaxing her back into bed, even if it was only to better listen to the waxing of mineral compositions and acidity levels that had somehow taken on new poetic undertones.

She laced her fingers with his, putting forward a half hearted effort to pull him to his feet and out of bed. He sat up and looped his hands around the band of her apron, rising only so far as to meet her eyes without standing. She gave into his weight, tumbling back onto their bed laughing, trying to continue on about her plans for the garden as he moved his hands up her leg. 

“You do know we live on a farm and must rise before noon now, don't you? We can’t just lounge about all morning as we once did.”

“Old habits die hard, my dear. And must we give up all our luxuries so fast? Truly it seems only right to acclimate slowly to this new life of ours, lest we fail at it entirely…”

Zelda’s protests of the pressing work to be done went silent on her upturned lips. After all, he did make a very convincing argument.

Partner Project

A/N: One free-range Johnny imagine coming up! Hope you like this Nonny, I thought it was cute :D

“Mr. Cade?”

Johnny’s dark eyes slowly lifted from his composition notebook and he tapped his pencil against the corner nervously, already not liking the tone of his teacher’s voice.

She smiled when he looked up at her, a sickly sweet smile that set Johnny’s nerves on edge. “Mr. Cade, I couldn’t help but notice that you hadn’t found yourself a partner yet.”

Johnny didn’t like her. She was a cranky old woman who, on the best days, liked to pester the whole class with backhanded questions and lecture them on things that didn’t even pertain to her teachings. She taught English for Christ’s sake, Johnny thought hopelessly every time she started on one of her tangents, not etiquette lessons. He sighed and mentally prepared himself for another lecture.

“Would you like me to find one for you?” she offered. That smile was still on her face. Johnny couldn’t help the small shudder that ran through his body and he looked back down at his notebook.

“I’m okay,” he muttered softly. “I’ll work by myself.”

She laughed and the sound was almost worse than nails dragging down a chalkboard. Johnny pushed the tip of his pencil a little harder into his paper.

“Mr. Cade this is a partner assignment. That means you have to work with someone.”

Well, shit. Johnny hated partner assignments. He opened his mouth to reply, to beg for her to just leave him alone and let him do the project on his own, but he’d obviously been too late for her. That sickly sweet smile was directed straight at him, not quite reaching her eyes.

“I’ll find you a partner,” she promised. Her eyes scanned the classroom, rolling over the students who’d already paired together and sat around, clustered together and laughing as they socialized instead of starting on their projects.

She must have found someone eventually because she made a small noise of success that had Johnny’s stomach rolling. Partner assignments were always the worst. People thought he was stupid because he didn’t always understand the classwork right away and he was often too shy to talk to anyone in his classes.

“Y/N! Do me a favor and come sit with Mr. Cade, would you? He’s going to be your partner for this project.”

Y/N?

Johnny may have been too shy to talk to anyone in his classes, but that didn’t mean he didn’t know their names. Y/N wasn’t one that he was familiar with. The sound of a chair scooting across the floor came from behind him, and Johnny glanced up, looking back over his shoulder. When he saw them, Johnny let out a soft breath he hadn’t known he’d been holding.

Y/N was pretty.

Very pretty.

They scooped their backup from the floor hesitantly and closed their notebook, keeping a finger inside to not lose their page. They looked from Johnny to the teacher and stepped out from behind their desk. Their eyes met Johnny’s, and the greaser could practically feel the red burning in his ears. He dropped his gaze back to his notebook and continued to scribble half-heartedly, trying to hide.

“There you are,” his teacher said, sounding far too excited for the predicament she’d just dropped Johnny into. “Now you’ve got a partner. I can’t wait to see what the two of you do together.”

With that, she walked away, and Y/N stopped at the side of his desk. Johnny’s pencil snapped.

“Um,” Y/N started, nervously scratching at the back of their neck. Johnny tried very hard to keep his leg from bouncing nervously and let his useless pencil drop to the center of his notebook, still looking down. “Do you mind if I sit down?”

Johnny found himself shaking his head and then Y/N was pulling out the chair next to him and sitting down, dropping their backpack gently by their feet. Their notebook sat open in front of them. Y/N liked to doodle in the margins, Johnny noticed. Small stars and flowers filled the space where notes should have been. Maybe he hadn’t been the only one not paying attention.

“My name’s Y/N,” they said softly. Johnny watched as they rubbed the toes of their shoes against the tile floor. “What’s yours?”

“Johnny.”

“Hi, Johnny.”

“Hi.”

It was quiet for a moment and then Y/N crossed their arms on the desk and let their head rest across their forearms. Johnny could see them now, out of the corner of his eyes. They were prettier up close.

“I just moved here. I haven’t met very many people yet.”

Johnny only nodded. He watched them as they traced a line in their drawing with their finger.

“Do you know a lot of people around here? Have any friends.”

“A few,” Johnny admitted after a pause. “We ain’t real popular or nothin’.”

Y/N chuckled softly. “Sometimes that’s better. Popularity isn’t always the best thing.” 

They lifted their head and took a deep breath, rolling their shoulders a little. Looking over at Johnny, they smiled, and Johnny’s heart started to beat a little bit faster. He hoped the color he felt rushing to his face wasn’t too noticeable. “Guess we should get started then, huh? Project’s not gonna do itself.”

“Yeah. Guess so.”

“Oh!” Y/N said suddenly, bending to rummage in their backpack. They pulled out another pencil and dropped it on top of Johnny’s notebook with another smile. “Since yours broke, you can borrow one of mine!”

Johnny blinked. Hesitantly, he reached out and picked up the pencil, earning one more smile from Y/N. This was going to be a very long project.

Reached my boiling point after Fontaine AQ & all the consumed fan content, and decided to dive into my dream-based post-canon/ canon divergent dragon!Aether AU, in which the Traveler "unlocks" himself a dragon form through [4.2 AQ spoilers]. So I snatched a liner to not get "stuck" in sketches, and found him during work breaks ^^

Think of this AU as taking place after the final (successful) war with Celestia, in which Aether participated in the form of that huge eldritch gentleman from the last sketch page. Also, most of my Genshin content revolves/will revolve around my polyamorous Kaeya/Aether/Ajax (Kaetherajax) OTP in any dynamic. Although "my" Aether is far more on a leading side, a "connecting link", and an anchor for Ajax and Kaeya - all three ultimately being a secret safe space for each other.

So wth did this come from:

I once had a dream about Aether being stuck in the dragon form in a different world xD He looked similar to a dragon OC of mine, as if he +- belonged to the same species but with his own quirks. In the dream he looked somewhere in-between the "condensed" (was also a liiiiittle bit bigger than that) and "uncondensed" versions. The twins found themselves in a "classy fantasy" world with different branches of magic, and Aether turned out to be a metamorph-healer. They helped to alleviate this world's global crisis, but a fragment of something connected with the local "dark side of the force" got lodged in Aether's chest, seized control over him and forced him to slip away in an unknown direction, stuck in the form of a dragon. Lumine and the local Chaeya set off to search for him - and succeeded! He almost R.I.P.ed them, but came to his senses in time. Most memorable moments:

Aether's appearance - he had three eyes, and when he was under control of the shard, the right and third eyes were just rolled back white, while the left had multiple pupils, similar to a demon from my bw pict attached. But he was overall incredibly creepy in this "possessed" state.

When Aether began to struggle for control, he moved like... I don't know how to describe it, but it was SO fucked up - it was clear from the movements that two entities were fighting for the "seat at the helm", and the body looked like a marionet at times. The closest I can think of is the monkey boss from Sekiro in its headless phase, when it does plunge attacks and forward dashes with a sword x'DDD The sight was absolutely chilling.

When Aether "surfaced" and allowed Lumi, Kaeya and Ajax to get their hands almost elbow-deep into his chest and try to pull out the shard. But while it was budging, it was burning their hands almost to the bone, even despite Lumi's healing and the combo of water-ice cooling from Cheya. In the end it tossed them all aside by some sort of shockwave - so Aether dove into his own wound while he was still "lucid", and ripped the shard out with his own teeth, for Lumine to destroy it.

And the last but not the least was the most hilarious scene of licking the wounds of the companions - Aether was capable of healing almost any damage but in such a strange way, 'cause dragon incarnation enhanced all the abilities, but something about its "composition" influenced "magic conductivity" xDD He carefully used Kaya's palm as an example for what he had in mind (he had a hard time speaking in this form). Kaeya immediately bared Childe's nasty wound (on his side) from Aether's claws, and Childe was instantly alarmed for the most ridiculous reasons:

Сhilde: Nononono wait - he's her brother, right? A human! Another very human man licking me! How is that okay?! Kaeya: ... Do you HAVE to make things even more awkward than they are? Lumine: does a discreet eyeroll

Turns out it was very much okay, but there was one very awkwardly fluffed up Aether licking the wounds of a tomato-grade red Childe, who was hiding his face in his hands.

ART SKILLS

Okay, so I'm working on a webtoon project and so I started drawing a thumbnail image for it. I was really unhappy with how it turned out, and I felt that my art looked tacky and unpolished. So basically, I just decided; no, I can draw very well and in my desired way(which is inspired by a twitter artist I admire), and I felt it as fact and left it. Then I picked up my pen and started drawing again.

The change was instant, but the dates below are within the time difference of a day because of course, art takes time, and I had to sleep in between. What I did was very simple, and I did not robotically affirm or listen to any subliminals or anything, I only simply assumed it as fact and it reflected back instantly.

You can see how the lines and colouring is more unpolished.

AFTER

The lines are cleaner and more detailed, and the composition of the piece itself improved.

CANCELLED EXAMS

I had a math test coming up when I first heard of the novel Undine, and I discovered a Piano & Flute sonata that accompanied it. I am both a Pianist and a Flautist, and I had grown so fascinated with the novel itself that when I heard the piece(sneakily during a Mandarin class), I was like, I need to play this right now. But I remembered my Math test scheduled for that week's Thursday, and I was like, I don't have the time. But then as I bitched about it to my friends, I instantly remembered about the law and was like, you know what? I have time. I didn't care how I had time, I just assumed I had the time to learn the piece I wanted to. Then instantly, my math teacher posted a google classroom announcement, the test had been pushed back to next week's Monday!

This one... I can't provide picture proof other than my shock when it happened because huh? Anyways, in my apartment the shower is connected to my parent's bedroom, where my mom's always in on her computer doing who knows what. I love to sing, and I love to sing in the shower because it always clears up my throat and even though my Mother praises me for it, it gets really awkward and embarrassing when I'm practicing or attempting a hard song and my voice falters? Well so I got home, okay. I knew my mom was inside her room because the bedroom door was closed and I heard her loudly talk on the phone to a coworker. I sat down to have a quick snack in the living room which is where the only exit of this apartment is and I saw her come out of her room to say hello to me and went back in. This is only in the span of 10 minutes from when I came home from school and when I went to take a shower. I came across a song I liked and I was like, wouldn't it be nice if I had privacy in the bathroom so I could sing? Okay, then I went to take a shower. My mom... was not in her room and the door was wide open. I ran to my dad and was like, where's mom? He was like, didn't you know she left?

EXPENSIVE COSPLAY

Okay, I've been BEGGING my dad to buy me cosplay for this one enstars character for a year. He always said no, and then this year it was sometime September and my friends were talking about dressing up for Halloween. I was like, I want to dress up as Ritsu. I didn't think anything of, "My dad always said no to my cosplay though," I just went, well, "I want to dress up as Ritsu so I shall."

That was it! I asked him in a text, can I have this? He didn't respond btw he ghosted me... then a few days later he asked for my measurements. I'm wearing the cosplay right now at school!

TAYLOR SWIFT PIANO SHEET MUSIC

This one is unintentional. I don't even know how it manifested but you know, I went to the music store to check out some guitars because I wanted to start learning, and then I got sidetracked by the Pianos. Previously a while ago, I wanted to learn some of her songs on the Piano, and most of the sheet music got copyrighted. I guess somewhere there I was like, you know what? Fuck it. I have it. I forgot about it, that's for sure. But then as I was messing around on some of the cheaper Pianos, my dad spotted they were selling her sheet music, and without really asking he just bought it for me.

MANIFESTED A TEACHER ABSENT FROM SCHOOL

This one happened today!!! I was just feeling a bit tired and I wanted a lesson off where I didn't have to worry about a teacher and when I went to the next period, I realised the teacher wasn't in school and the lesson was self study time!

I'm 17 now, and I had been barely 150cm for a while. I've tried growing taller for years with subliminals, nothing happened, the doctors said I couldn't but... I grew! A few centimeters, my ideal height is 156cm and I'm around 154 right now? I also lost a lot of weight starting from May of this year, and I started growing taller around the start of October! Also the other day, I was in a sort of 'tutoring' session(it wasn't really tuition? but I don't know what else to call it) and I was so tired and I wanted to draw, and instead of waiting for a break I was like fuck it, I'm going to draw anyways and reached for my iPad. Then suddenly as I touched it, the teacher announced a break! Also, in my 4D I'm well respected and lowkey worshipped and I noticed when I went out last week, strangers were so oddly nice to me and people turned their heads to look at me? They'd do nice gestures for me when before everyone would just ignore me the way I used to want.

Anyways, that's it for my post! I sat down a lot and pondered and listened to Edward Art's lectures every night. Manifesting is really easy, and so long as you realise the 3D doesn't matter... it doesn't exist and to just focus on your 4D, then you already have your dream life. There's no point throwing rocks at the 3D hoping it'll change, like with how you can't kill the snake because it doesn't exist, you just have to become indifferent to it and persistent in your 4D.

By all accounts. I should NOT have gone this hard on what was Meant to be a simple -tober piece, but when I was doing composition thumbnails for this prompt I was struck with a wave of inspiration and energy SO strong that I blacked out for three days and when I woke up this was done and exported and my tablet was running a 100-degree fever. Whoops. Still, I'm very proud of how this piece came out, but I don't think I'll go as hard on future prompts, to save my sanity, my wrists, and my poor, poor tablet abhjgebhj

I haven't talked about her as much as Orion for a couple of reasons, mainly being "I'm just not playing her rn lmao" and her story being WILDLY different from the like. base young pirate plotline bahjgbrejh

To sum it up, she was born and raised in Marleybone (somewhat in-line with her ingame origin, yay) by just her father-- as her mother had disappeared shortly after she was born (Shipwrecked origin), intent on joining their navy to support herself and her widowed father. And while she was successful in doing so, she was stationed far away in the skies between Port Regal and the Tradewinds in Skull Island-- forced to leave what little family and home she had behind. Not too fond of that, she was.

Things only get worse when she starts taking shady smuggling jobs out of necessity under the noses of both her superiors and stray Armada soldiers (Musketeer origin), leading her to befriend a certain wily Swashbuckler during a run in Scrimshaw, who briefly joins her cause and ends up throwing himself under the bus to protect her from getting busted by the Armada. Though, in the process, he kills a rather high-ranking officer during a duel and is tossed in jail, swiftly ending their rather short partnership. Whoops.

Unlike her short-lived partner in crime, she never does get busted for the illegal work she does-- but it is forced to come to a stop following the unrest in Marleybone later in the plotline, in which she finally gets to go home, but never in the way she wanted to. I'm so nice to her.

You have so many unique ways of stylizing you characters! How did you come to developed the very geometric one? Also, how do you decide what art style to use for each work? (Rooting for your recovery. Ganbatte!)

There's quite a long story behind this haha. I injured my wrists in my second year of uni and realised I couldn't continue with how I had been drawing up until that point. I had to have a very hard think about the direction I wanted my art to go, since I wanted to be able to create for as long as possible. So for 6 months I went full research and analysis mode into artists who were making minimalist work. Who was currently successful? What parts of their work did I like? How could I switch to drawing completely differently than what came naturally to me while still feeling creatively fulfilled? So I had all my research, and then I spent the next 6 months trying to test out as many styles and techniques as I could, to see what felt right to me. This was around 2012, from memory? Concurrently to all this, at uni we were given all these little drawing exercises to do, and I remember one of them being 'draw a character in 4 lines'. It was meant to be a gestural exercise, but it really resonated with me, the idea that you didn't need a lot of detail in order to communicate what you wanted. So that morphed into my overall goal: minimal output, maximum message/connection. Then in my third year at uni, we got taught the Point < Line < Shape hierarchy, which is how you can control what your eye is drawn to first. It was meant to be used for creating appealing compositions (e.g. draw a bird, a tree, and a mountain in as many different configurations as you can), but I ended up applying it to my character design, and I've never looked back.

I currently am a freelance animator and designer, and no matter the job, there's always a style that I need to emulate, so a fair chunk of my professional work also bleeds into the art I do in my free time. As for how I decide on which style to go with for what pieces, I don't really have a system for it haha. I use my Likes on all my social media as one giant reference folder, so I just scroll through those until I find a technique, a composition, a shape, a colour palette, etc that I think I would like to try. I'm still in the habit of researching and analysing other people's work constantly, so there's always something new I want to test out for myself. TL;DR I injured my wrists at uni and searched for a way to draw without injuring myself further haha.
