I haven't seen TROS and after reading the spoilers have less than zero interest in seeing it, but I have been enjoining your review/analysis, especially with regards to Rey being a Skywalker.
Aw.  For what it’s worth, I liked it.  The spoilers horrified me, but in context, they’re actually work for me.  Well, not ALL of them, but enough that I found TROS to be a positive experience.   And for the first time since TLJ, I’ve felt like engaging with the wider universe again.  (I’m already making plans for a full on marathon when TROS comes out on DVD.)
And weirdly it’s jumpstarted my tendency toward ranting and meta.  So…glad you’re enjoying that.  It’s probably going to continue for a while.  :-D

I can't imagine anyone in the Maggie cabal hurting Richonne. Hopefully it's all going to be interpersonal drama and not some fight. Daryl's one of my faves but he's been so fucking stagnant since season 5, I'm over it. Hopefully if he's helping Maggie it won't just be with the "murder Negan" thing and he'll get some actual growth. As for Carl I don't have anything else to say, that was bts drama and everyone at AMC should be ashamed of themselves.
Oh, I absolutely agree with you.
This is going to be an amazing conflict, and I don’t imagine any of them would be trying to hurt each other.  Maggie wants to “show” them that they’re wrong.  And I absolutely want her to succeed.  :-)
But I’m still irrationally mad at Daryl.  So I’m side-eying him.  :-)  Be a good big brother, Daryl!

Oh yeah, I'm not disagreeing with that, Daryl definitely isn't literally younger than Rick, I just think that's where some people's confusion comes from. There's also the fact that a sizable portion of the fandom weirdly infantilizes Daryl to a ridiculous degree.
Yeah, I've noticed that too.  That and the size thing.
I have seriously seen people comment on youtube videos of season 7 talking about how small and vulnerable Daryl looks.
And I'm trying to figure out "relative to what?!"  I mean, sure.  A giraffe.  A tank.  Daryl might be small compared to those things.  But as humans go, he's built like a brick house.
It's not uncommon in slash fandom, I guess, but it was a lot more understandable in the days of yore when we were all relying on our memory to tell us things like who's taller, larger, and so on.
But this was a YOUTUBE video.  Right above the comment!  And all I could think of was "one of us needs to buy a new dictionary."

I wasn't a fan of Abe in general or that particular storyline, but I can kinda get why he turned away from Rosita so quickly. She was a rebound after losing his wife and Sasha was someone he actively chose. TBH they both could've done better than him (like gotten with each other instead which I was rooting for)
That makes sense.  I didn't mind Abraham breaking up with Rosita, it was just that he did it so harshly.  It was really gross.
And yeah, both could do better.
