One thing I don't like about this test, (apart from all the questions basically bing "how does your potential disorder inconvenience everyone around you") is that it doesn't include the combined type in the results
Obviously this shouldn't be taken too seriously as it's an online test, but still. Bothers me a bit.

lanrjwanr i really wanna try and get an official adhd diagnosis bc at this point im at least 85% sure i actually have it but w the whole corona thing that’s like,,, probably not a thing i could do. and i’d kind of want to get it without anyone irl knowing abt it (hi irl friends) bc i don’t wanna be like attention seeking if it turn out i don’t actually have it??? but at the same time i’m completely aware that some doctors aren’t infallible and they can very well ignore someone who has adhd bc “adults don’t have it” or w/e etc. so im on this v weird part where im,,, v confused and unsure. it would be very very nice if i could get that confirmation. esp if the reason i think i didn’t get diagnosed as a kid was inattentive parents and uncaring teachers :)
#shut up danni#like im 85% sure i've got the inattentive variety of adhd#which means im easily distracted have poor concentration skills and poor organisation#im so horrendeously distracted that i frequently forget what the hell i was doing and ended up going on a tangent of distraction#and concentration skills?? if it's not something that i 200% want to do Immediately then i cannot focus on it at all#bc i'll be constantly thinking of whatever it is that i want to do to the point where i barely know what the hell im meant to be doing#and poor organisation?? im p good w like filing and where things should go but organising what people should do or plans for the day#i'm COMPLETELY lost and it always ends up a mess unless i massively tweak the plan as we go to the point where we might as well don't plan#and looking at a list of all the little symptoms of inattentive adhd i can't help but go yep to nearly every single one on the list#i mean looking at the list of the hyperactive kind i have a couple of things on there#like the constantly talking the impatience and doesn't think abt consequences#so maybs the conbined type?????#i literally do not know so hhhhhhh i feel really weird saying that i deffo have adhd but im like super relate to a lot of adhd things#and im just kind of dying inside bc the label would really help me out but i don't wanna seem like im asking for attention bc of it#bc i KNOW that if i do have it the only reason it was never caught was bc my mum had a v hands off approach to parenting when we were kids#and constantly left me and my brother alone at home if we weren't going elsewhere to do something#and my teachers always kind of wrote me off because i was really quiet and the less work i did the less they had to mark#sometimes they'd chide me for not doing homework or not paying attention in class but only to keep up appearances w lack of real effort#so uhhhhh if i go 'hi yes i have adhd :)' i don't wanna make it seem im saying it for attention????#bc if i really do have it i kind of want to work on it and see how i can manage it bc it would be really really nice#and AHHHHHH#sorry for the long rambling post i've had this constantly on my mind for a long time
