Here, our exterior concrete walls are detailed with the residue of the forms used to pour the walls. The floating steel railing, like all of our exterior steelwork, is painted a sky blue to disappear into the sky above the surrounding city park.

Inside, with the frostflowers growing and the only heater stuttering like an coughing old man, it was almost as cold as outside the walls and Ziv had given her tenchcoat to Church, searching every old shelf for cloth to find warmth. Boundles of lakets under her short arms the woman hasty waddled back into the room, only to find Church offer her a place under his blanket. Ziv blinked, one time, two times, three times,then pulled her colourless lips back and looked at him as if she had just bitten on a sour fruit. One of her pale ears flicking back as if she was an annoyed Dog, Ziv rose a webbed finger, pointing between her and the man: "You know, just between you and me, so between someone who had been so stupid to loose most of their warming fur in their evolution -line to sweat and with that learn to hunt by wearing a prey down; and someone who was kriffing literally born to swimm in kriffing frozen oceans, who constantly needs to kriffing gobble down fresh blood and meat to keep her metabolism going unless she wants to face kriffing malnutrition and a very fast death of kriffing starvation, I almost think that you offering me a place under the blanket serves you a lot of better than me, because by all kriffing means, I kind of feel very kriffing comortable right now, like-" The Tynnans fluffy tail flicked- no, not flicked but whiped up and down mercilessly. In the greyness of the room and the blackness of the night her pale fur seemed to almost glow. Far away, past the meager warmth of the small room,past the metalbeams and the naked concretewalls the storm was howlomg so deafeningly that Zivs iritated grumble sounded like a whisper:

"-it costs me all me kriffing willpower not t throw off my tunic and run outside just in fur laughing kriffing manically and hopping around froilocking, because the very kriffing last time I had been in a temperatur that I felt really kriffing comfortable in had been when I had been kriffing born. Really, it is a kriffing proof of my willpower and mental strenght I am still talking to you at all instead of burrying my snout in the kriffing snow and purr like a kriffing happy pup, so by all kriffing means, I kind of feel used as a personal heater by you offering me that place under the blanket with you because the only one of us who needs kriffing shelter and warmth is your by evolution kriffed up sweating anatomy." And with that she dropped the boundle of extrablankets in Churchs lap like one would drop a mic: "Like really,do you want to warm kriffing me or do you just want the amazingly hot in every way possible Tynnan under your blanket? Like seriously, you can just ask directly instead of wrapping it in kriffing 'I am gonna help you'-kriffery since I would say yes, I am no a kriffing monster, but for Kriffs sake can you at least use your sentience and kriffing ask?"
