Melissa Coppel Chocolates
I love chocolates. These days, there are a lot of chocolate options. I adore the uniqueness, flavor, color, and aroma that every chocolatier imparts.

Bittersweet
Request: Wednesday Addams x Peter Parker-esque Male Reader. Just a lovably awkward cinnamon roll who’s unexpectedly charmed by Wednesday’s dark and macabre personality. Story wise, he’s trying to confess his feelings with some romantic gesture that’s tailored to her?
A/n: Yea I made it valentines themed… don’t fight me
Tumblr media
You were panicking as you were whisking the chocolate you were trying to temper. You scowled at the TV Baking Show, “Double Broiler, my ass.”
You jerked the glass bowl of chocolate off the pot of hot water and walked to the microwave. You threw it in there and pressed the numbers for one minute.
You were trying to make chocolates for Wednesday. You and her were friends, you’d say. You had grown to enjoy being around her.
She did too, or so she must’ve since she always sat beside you in classes. She didn’t talk all that much but that was great for your uneasy heart.
You took another glance at your phone before deciding that you could definitely do it without their help.
Valentines was coming up and that’s why you decided this would be a the perfect time. If she said no, at least you could eat the chocolate. But you really hoped she said yes.
You didn’t know exactly why  but there was something about her bluntness, something in the way she treated people she was close to; a sort of reserved care for them. You and her often spent time playing chess and you loved to listen to her cello music.
Honestly if she didn’t say yes to being your girlfriend, you hoped she’d still be your friend. She made you happy and when you realized you like her, you weren’t that surprised.
“The microwave is beeping.”
You nearly jumped out of your skin when a voice jerked you from your thought. You wheeled around saw her.
Wednesday.
She must’ve been walking past the kitchen and heard it.
“Oh!” you walked to the beeping machine and opened it and burned your finger on the hot ceramic bowl.
“What has got you in a fit? Is it a disease?” She said, lol at the counter tops.
You stared at her observing dark eyes. You hoped she hadn’t caught on.
“Ah no, I am the peak of health.”
“You drink energy drinks for breakfast.”
You rolled your eyes as you grabbed a small towel to grab the bowl from the microwave, “Yea yea, anyway, what’s up?” You asked, carrying the bowl to the counter top, next to the molds for the chocolate.
“I was just wondering where you were.” She walked to the bowl and looked at the molds, “And what you are doing?”
You sighed, “I am making you chocolate.”
Wednesday look at you, eyebrow raised. “Why?”
You breathed in sharply, now or never. “Because tomorrow is Valentine’s Day.”
“Why are you celebrating a holiday built on capitalistic ideals and feeds on tempo displays of love?” She asked, looking at the bowl.
“Well… because I like you.”
She kept her eyes on the bowl. The silence was deafening.
“But if you don’t feel the same way, I totally get it and I could ju-“
She dipped her finger in the chocolate and brought it up to taste it. She then looked at you.
“This is milk chocolate so it should be paired with caramel.” She then looked to see another bowl of unmelted Chocolate, “Dark chocolate pairs well with sea salt.”
You smiled, she looked you dead in the eyes, “I don’t want them in a red box. But I like you too.”

Pancakes that taste like love!
Tumblr media
my recipe for cakepop pancakes! I hope you enjoy! I came across this pancake texture when I accidentally used heavy cream instead of milk one day - then I upgraded the recipe over time! <3 the first time I served it was to my girlfriend, who looked at me excitedly and said “these taste like how i would imagine moomin mama’s pancakes do.”
